My skid plate was left unsecured and fell off as I was driving on the freeway, nearly causing me to crash. CHP informed me that two screws were missing and the skid plate was bent in half under the car since it was loose. After getting home I called the Cedar location letting them know, they said the would relay my message but no one ever called me back. I called again and again for 2 days until I was able to speak with a Store Manager - Robert Gomez who stated I was told by the rep that the skid plate was damaged (so basically washing his hands of any responsibility). No one ever told me that, all they told me was the amount, have a seat and then car is done how do you want to pay? He was talking at me and over me and when I raised my voice he said you are cursing at me I'm going to hang up and hung up. I then called the Cedar location and spoke with Brenda who said the DM at the Jarvis location had just called her and that she had informed me, I stopped her and told her I never spoke to a female that I spoke with a male in a blue overall and pony tale (Aaron)... That I remember her, but she was helping someone else when I was there. After giving her a description and repeating the conversation she had with an elderly male with a Toyota van and issues with the brake fluid. She then recalled and said you're right I never helped you, but the Manager at the Jarvis store told me to let you know that I did because my name was on the receipt??? I asked that they review the surveillance as I noticed the feed when I was there. I told her she needed to check that so they can confirm my story and she said, "oh I know you're telling the truth"!!! She then said she was irritated about someone using her log in and she remembered that she had not spoken to me. She then told me she would have Christopher the Manager call me, that was a joke. He called me only to say he would make it right, then give me this BS story about wanting to pay for it out of his pocket because he was a new manager and didn't' want any negative complaint. Yet when he did call me back, he stated he had no money??? What a joke! No resolution and I'm out of pocket $289 to have my skid plate replaced. Civil Court here I come. BY FAR THE WORST experience and service all together.
Services are okay. And also the prices are too high and also they took a lot of time to service my vehicle.
Friendly, attentive service, no waiting when I went on Saturday and oil change for Honda HR-V done within 20 minutes.
The workers are very nice. However they told me they couldn’t change my oil because they don’t have tool to take off the drain plug and it was stripped. I am surprised that as an auto service station they don’t have the tool for a stripped drain plug. I know my drain plug was fairly new and when I changed my oil last time, I only tightened it with my hand and wrench. It should not be a bad drain plug. Again the technician were very friendly and nice but the company should have provided them better tools to handle tight drain plug. ———————————— Update: Went to another mechanic shop to have a look. I know my drain plug was intact and not stripped before I came here because I moved from east coast and I did a mechanic check before the long drive. This is what they did to the plug when they couldn’t take the drain plug off, and ended up not wanting to be responsible and simply told me to go somewhere else. The pictures are taken the next day I went there, note that the there’s rust on the other parts of the bolt but there’s none on the stripped part, which suggests that the damage was done at jiffylube. Someone from jiffylube please reach out to me and help me resolve this matter. —————— Update: Went back again to solve this issue. They apologized and purchased the right tool to have it fixed. Did not try to play any games with me. After all they were decent enough.
I recently visited the Jiffy Lube on Cedar Blvd in Fremont, and I had an outstanding experience! The staff was incredibly professional and friendly, making me feel valued as a customer. They were efficient and took the time to explain the services I needed without any pressure. I noticed some concerns in previous reviews about coupon acceptance, but I can confirm that they are indeed accepting coupons. This was a pleasant surprise and contributed to my overall satisfaction. I should have read the reviews before I came here :/ The franchise owner is dishonest. There is/was a a an offer on this particular locations Google maps page, but it was not honored. The technician, Christian, did his absolute best to help me out, he called everyone to get me help. Ultimately I had to call customer service and open a file, they said the location was a private franchise and that it was at his discretion; and he did not want to honor the coupon, not even half it's value. Despite the terrific, incredibly professional service from Christian, or the $25 gift card rebate situation, I will not be back. The location on Jarvis is pretty good. Also Pit Stop- Ten Minute Oil Change on Fremont Blvd is super bomb. I only didn't go there this time bc I needed my tires checked- then the coupon hooked me to this Cedar location :(
Great staff with oil change services and more. They do the oil top up or basic change oil with complimentary vacuum, etc and ask permission first before they do additional charges for certain options. They also diagnose problems like brake fluid, pads, filters, lights, and ask permission before charging you and working on them in shop. There's no appointment system in place yet so there might be a wait, but as long as we time it right, it's very convenient for us so far.

I did a car inspection here. It was quick and hassle free. The waiting room was very clean. But most importantly, the people who work here are really nice and friendly.
Went to a San jose jiffy lube got my oil changed and was told i needed transmission fluid service. It was about 200.00 so decided to wait. So a little while later I took it to another jiffy lube in Fremont and they told me all my fluid were fine and I didnt need anything. I feel like the other jiffy lube tried to scam me. Plus I waited a long time before they even acknowledged me. Kudos to the Fremont location for being honest and the great customer service.
I called to get a quote for brakes and the guy told me $220. He doesnt know what car its for or what material i want; $220. then he says thats starting and wont ask any questions or offer any information. I guess you guys dont want business.
Quick, friendly, and expansive
Very quick service, sometimes it gets busy or is understaffed, but the staff is always accommodating with the time frames. There are also other auto services/stores nearby, in case you need to shop around.

I would absolutely refer this specific jiffy lube. I have a fleet vehicle that I always get an oil change on . Drive very often so there always quick my vehicle, vacuum it out. Wipe my windows, check my tires. All the people that help me are so amazing and badass. I appreciate genuine nice people now days. !!! Thank you for all your help.
They were very kind and nice but be aware that if you are bringing your company vehicle they will look for a way to rip you off or your company, ( whoever is paying). In my case they were charging me for wiper blades and they did not had replaced them my red flag was when I checked my receipt they were nervous. Who knows if they really replaced my oil and filter since they do it underneath the vehicle and is hard to see under be careful with this place I did not let them rip me off. They had to give me the wiper blades they charged me for.

Very friendly and pleasant experience. I had my oil changed, tires rotated, and transmission fluid changed. Took less than 40 minutes and there s plenty of shops and places to eat to kill time. Highly recommend this location
Too slow
Got all what I ve asked them... Used to do oil and engine filter change in Midas, on Thornton Ave, till notice that my engine filter wasn t even touched, but payment taken for that... Stoped at Jiffy Lube and got full service! Manager Erick brought me both cabin and engine filter and advised to replace them, which is appropriate and how it supposed to be. Thank you guys and keep it up!
Been going here for years always had a great experience. But unfortunately as management changed so did the customer service! Its awful they dont do alot of the services they say they do online. When I called about a tune up and how much they start at (in which online and the other locations said they do) they asked what kind of car i had... ok I told them. Someone named Aaron told me he was told they dont have anyone in TODAY to do tune ups. OK. but I was asking HOW MUCH $$ DO THEY START AT. Then he asked a manager how much. And the answer then changed to they dont do them on MY KINDA CAR (its a Toyota 15).AGAIN I just wanted to know a price, when asked to speak to the manager cause I was now confused. I was told he was too busy and they didnt have time to answer one simple question, and then I was told they now dont do the tune up service anymore at all !!! The most annoying, unprofessional conversation ever. Now I prolly wont go there even for a simply oil change eaither since nobody knows anything!

Expensive, disrespectful, unprofessional. I asked to adjust my tire pressure. They said they will. But they had just turned off the light. They said they will give me a discount in the beginning, then at the end when I wanted to pay they said the manager called and said don t give any discount. Like what?! Pathetic. When I started questioning that completely politely, they started behaving aggressively. They changed my brake pads and rotors. Later on I Googled the price and learned they are more expensive than others. Why should someone trust them and give them their money and car, when they are super unprofessional? I will never go there again.
Mike the Mgr of the station has an attitude problem. I was in line when a woman asked to go in front of me which I accommodated. To my surprise this store Mgr which is rude in asking me to move my car further back to accommodate her car to get into the bay. I have been patiently waiting and to be asked so Unprofessionally is not something I can or will tolerate. This is probably stemmed from the woman being in the same ethnic background. Regardless, he could have asked very professionally. He should be release of his position as it left a very bad taste and unprofessional service. This guy has a chipped on his shoulder and authority complex. If I am the owner, I would fired him just for being unprofessional.

Super HONEST ! I bought a car and took it to Jiffy Lube as the change oil light was on. The rep told me that this car had its oil changed a month ago, he proceeded to show me how clean the oil in car was . Filled up my fluids, send me on my way ZERO charge

Always a good visit at this Jiffy Lube location. These guys are always busy and hard working here at the Cedar Blvd Newark location. They don t jip time and quality off of your service to get to the next vehicle in line (there is always a line here!). Enjoyed a few laughs too while I was here and can t ever go wrong with some good fun!
Fast good service they checked tire pressure brakes air filters and clean windows with their oil change. The young men were very knowledgeable friendly and helpful.

Went in for a standard oil change. Coming out, the air conditioning wasnt working anymore. I went to an independent mechanic because now I dont trust this jiffy lube. He said that someone had opened the valve for the AC refrigerant and let out the gas, since he couldnt find any leaks. He said theres literally no other possible explanation. I dont want to assume that this Jiffy Lube deliberately let the refrigerant out so Id come back and pay them more money to fix it. I guess it could be possible that it was an accident and they just didnt know what they were doing, but the independent mechanic said theres no reason why they should have even interacted with the refrigerant to begin with for a standard oil change. Now I have a bill for $75 from a different mechanic to fix the mistakes that were made during the $79 oil change that I had at jiffy lube.
Theyre scamers for real, I came to my lyft inspection, he failed the inspection intentionally in order to buy and do services in his place. I wont came to you jiffy f...
$50-100 for an oil change seems insane to me. PLUS another $30 for them to rotate my tires which they insist they need to do to check my brakes. I also got mansplained that when brakes wear down they squeak, which every 12 year old knows. I just wanted them checked before I headed out for a long drive, but thanks.

Very good people
Went in for $45 oil change and I wanted to use my oil filter. They gave me $2 credit on the filter and charged me $6 a quart to fill up my crankcase. (13 quarts total). My finale bill was almost $100 . I will be doing my own from now on! $24 for a gallon of $14 oil is over the top.

Come to this place when they frist open and they only had two cars in the bays and when I ask how long it will take to do it they told me it be a 45 min wait till my car could be looked at it

There was no waiting so I was out in 15 minutes.
Friendly staff, but this process was not speedy in any way. I was there for 90 minutes and there was only one car ahead of me that was almost finished when I got there. The day after I got my oil change, I got a low pressure warning on my tires even though they supposedly checked it. Now I have to go back a second time.
Agreed to take my car for an oil change very close to closing time. Wait time wasnt too long. Pricing is fair. Online coupons are honored. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and fair.
First let me start off by saying I called the Jiffy Lube in San Leandro on Hesperian where my car was serviced I called to ask that particular location what type of services they provided me so I can write them down and try to get to the bottom of issue I m having with my car the guy who answered the phone at the location was very rude and I kept giving him information to help him find my car in the system I was very unsuccessful the call ended up being hung up on in my face I end up calling the Jiffy Lube here at Cedar spoke with Oscar phenomenal customer service same information I provided at the other Jiffy Lube I provided to Oscar he was able to find my car in the system also gave me pointers on what the problem can be that I m having.... 10 For Oscar great customer service

Good, quick service that you expect from Jiffy but this one is a bit more expensive and lines are sometimes an hour or 2 long. Id recommend dropping your car off and walking to the movie theater or 24 hour fitness across the street while you wait.
They broke my transmission doing a service on it, at first they didnt want to fix it but they ended fixing it. Didnt have my truck for three weeks. Very but services and it was the manager that burned up my transmission. They need more experience on everything.
They are efficient, they know the job, not like the other Jiffy Lubb on Jarbis Ave. in the same city where instead of them taking the mileage you do it yourself and they have a lot of staff turnover. Fast service and the discount coupons are valid.

My experience at Jiffy Lube was excellent. Not only did I get an oil change, but also had my tires rotated, filter changed, replaced brake fluid, and cleaning , all for a reasonable price. All within 40 minutes! Newark, Northern California.

This shop ruined my new car. They destroyed my gravel shield, made me spend hours jumping thru hoops with the promise that they would refund me the cost, then refused to pay for the damage after promising to. Disgusting place. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I work hard for my money, and dont deserve to be ripped off by you. Im not mad at jiffy lube, Im upset at the people who ruined my car and then wasted my time. You people are sick.

These are very bad people they charged me for fully synthetic best oil around $70 and never changed the oil for my car..and I paid cash so I couldnt claim it back..
Decent job but pricey than other places the guy told me 88 dollars for the service and I ended up paying 106.00 and that was just a full synthetic oil change... Nothing Else... I might check other places next time

The staff here is super friendly! Service took a while, but thats to be expected with only 2 mechanics. If you come here, give yourself 30-45 minutes for an oil change. Overall, Im happy with my experience!
