Rich's Tire Services in Mountain View

I stopped by last week on Friday & asked to have my vehicle checked because I believed I had a nail ( I could hear the sound of the nail clicking when driving) I work down the street from Rich’s and decided to stop by. When I arrived nobody approached me , the guys where sitting on their phones didn’t even bother to acknowledge me. I got off finally got someone’s attention which by the way he had the worst attitude ever. I mentioned I had a nail he did a 360 of my car put air and said “there’s no nail” I assured him I had a nail and he was adamant that there was not & continued with the same snobby attitude. I even offered to pay for the air because I felt disrespected. Fast forward to Sunday , my tire pressure was low again and I went to a tire shop by my home where they indeed found a huge nail on the same tire I mentioned to the guy at Rich’s and the nail was clearly there Friday . Horrible customer service, do not recommend for the safety of you and your family.

Had a flat tire on my morning drive to work. Stopped by this place conveniently off the 101 and they really saved me. Super quick service, was on my way in no time.

I had a tire warning and went to get it checked. Small nail in front tire but didn’t mess up overall. They pumped air and told me nothing is wrong and to leave. They didn’t want to take money since there is nothing to fix. I gave a tip since they spent time troubleshooting for me. Very reliable and trustworthy.

Called and was told first come first served. So I went there and they discovered there was a nail on the tire then they fixed it within 5 mins for $20. Super happy with it!

I went and had little money and was looking for a used tire for my car. He gave me a almost new tire for $60 dollars balanced and everything. Great Customer service, Thank you!

This place is a life saver!! I was a walk in and they fixed my tire in less than 5 minutes and for a super great price! So helpful and very kind.

UPDATE (nov 2024): still great, fast, inexpensive, and friendly service. Fast, friendly service. The people here have consistently taken care of my tire needs quickly and for a reasonable price, several times. Today was no exception. There was a screw in my tire. He located it, removed it, plugged it, and filled the tire in 5min. All in all I was there no more than 20min. Will continue coming here and recommending them.

Today got in a bit of a trouble by getting a screw in the tire. We were looking for a place to fix that, however the nearby tire place told us that we have to make an appointment and come tomorrow - not the best solution for the problem that we had right in the moment. Staff from Rich’s tire services however told us that we can come right away! They fixed our problem in a few minutes - we were super satisfied and happy that we’ll be able to resume with our plans for the day. On top of that what especially delighted us - the price was very reasonable. The service was also friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend this place!
