I had a great experience today. I brought my vehicle 2016 BMW 428ix series because of the clicking I was hearing while driving. Israel worked with me and kept me informed about the progress. I have my 2016 BMW M4 serviced at BMW of Mountain View exclusively. I drive an extra distance to get there because they understand customer service. They are prompt, courteous and they communicate. They take care of the car the way I do, and that is all I can ask for.
The loaner car is NOT provided despite it was specifically reserved in the appointment. No other solution is provided and caused inconvenience. The engine hood is NOT closed fully after service…. Dangerous situation could happen in highway… omg

Extremely poor quality of work by service. Gave my car for service for a recall. The very next day the car developed massive break faults and had to to be emergency stopped while driving. And then had to be towed away.

I just purchased a car from bmw of Mt view and I kept calling the dealership to see if they received my check from my credit union. The finance department will not answer my calls or messages. VERY poor customer service

Went in for an annual oil service for my very low mileage 2006 M3 ( 800 miles last year) got quoted exorbitant price for an Oil Pan replacement!! Found a much cheaper place for same job. Asked for Freon top up...got quoted for leak test etc etc...19 years may cause lower level Freon level without ANY detectable leak....but they dont do TOP UPS!!!!

For Kevin who was the service agent, he was great. That was the reason for 5 stars, but not the call center however the call schedule was terrible. I set up an appoinment and that was never recorded. I was told that there were no Saturday appointments and was told I could not schedule at Peter Pan The call center should be changed to one that provides accurate information and service.

I visited this service centre to run a pre-scheduled regular check-in (under the warranty) with my X1 2.8 (2024) on Oct 18. The rep (Wayne) who was assigned to help me, said that theres an unexpected recall from BMW. Ok, fine. On that date, they didnt have any loaner/courtesy cars. Instead, they offered me to schedule another visit in 2 weeks. Ok, seems like an option, right? But! Even in this case they couldnt guarantee that they could provide a loaner car to me. They are at capacity. So, 1) I have to handle the roundtrip to the dealership myself; b) I have to be without a car during several days (at least) while they are fixing their own issues (the reason of the recall is something related to transmission). Thats just absurd. If they cannot do it, they should figure smth out, right? They didnt try even to find any alternative solutions. Their customer success team would definitely benefit from a training of some sort. Extremely frustrating experience in this dealership in Mountain View.
I received a call from the dealer last week for service for my car that is due for maintenance and scheduled me this October 21 2024 as I pull over to the dealer a gentleman greet me and ask me if I have a appt and I showed to him the email for the appt and said he couldn t find my reservation and he call for a service advisor to assist and wait for 20 minutes, service advisor Kumar told me that I have to wait 3 hrs for my car I explained to him that I need to go and need a loaner if possible since the appt schedule is messed up on their part Kumar didn t do anything to make situation smooth as possible lack of customer service, wasted my time and gas to come all the way from peninsula.

I could not find a feedback form or customer service email on their website, and I am writing my experience with them here. The Tire Center website will quote a price that says the price includes installation and balancing, but at the shop, I was charged an extra $300 for balancing. I recommend you look to get your servicing and/or tire care elsewhere. The service advisor also talked to me rudely.
BMW of Mt. View did a great job on my recent visit to handle a recall issue on my 2011 328i. Check-in was painless. I got the car back quickly, next day, and it was nicely cleaned when I picked it up. Currently, customer parking stinks as they are very congested due to construction going on just down the street. So you might want to consider just heading to their upstairs parking unless you spot a space on the street that you can duck into. If you park upstairs though they have hot coffee, chocolate, bottled water, and snacks as you enter.
BMW at Mountain View location has never failed. They have always been very efficient and very courteous with the service they offer.

I have no complaints about the service which was assisted by my service advisor, Branden the service is always first rate but I would like to lodge a complaint about what I discovered yesterday (08-5-2024) I was disappointed to find out while I m still there at BMW Mountain View that my may make up kit purse , full of different denominations mostly quarters that I used for parking meters was gone! I was hesitant to bring it with me because it was very heavy and told myself that BMW is a prestigious brand and company nobody will take it since it s also hidden inside my side compartment in fact I even covered it with tissues so that its not obvious if someone open it. It was a great disappointment to me to find out that a person found my make up purse with full of coins took it. It goes with the saying Never trust anyone but I am very disappointed!! I hope something will be done about it! It s not about how much money was there but the trust that was Lost!

I had just purchased in excellent condition a 2022 BMW 540i. A few days later I drove it to a business in a garage with special lighting, I noted several subtle small dings near the door handle. They were not obvious, except in reflection at an angle. I sent the photos to my salesman Robert Beronia. He passed it on to the head salesman. They quickly arranged for a body shop expert to be there the next day. In an hour the dings were gone and the door looked perfect. A great job!

Its definitely a five-star experience for me to buy my favorite car from BMW MTV, thanks to Ramtin. I initially sent out a Test Drive request via the website, but after not receiving a response within 2 hours, I decided to walk in. I was immediately greeted by Ramtin with a warm and friendly smile. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences, guiding me through the entire process with incredible patience and professionalism. After the test drive, I was undecided about the exterior and interior color options and needed more time to choose the packages. I bought a used bmw at a good price. Dealership seemed harried. Their goal is to sell sell sell. They sell about 20 cars a day. I felt like I got a good deal but there were a few scratches on the car that needed to be fixed. They insisted on me taking the car the same day and not leaving it to be fixed. Now they are giving me the run around about fixing the scratches. I m not sure if other bmw dealership are different, but doesn t seem like I will be able to get the scratches fixed by them.

DO NOT schedule your service with Shivam Kumar. My car was working fine, no alert no engine light, all I need is a regular service. But after service he kept telling me I need some further check on the radiator blind and scheduled another appointment for me to comeback again. When I did come back, another service adviser told me there is nothing they need to do if I dont have the engine light on. A total waste of my time! Ive been with BMW MTV for over 4 years this is the worst experience Ive ever had.
I have been going to the BMW of Mountain View service department for a few years now. Their service is always excellent and they do a great job of keeping me in the loop against what is happening with my car. In my latest visit they were able to diagnose and correct my issue quickly and got the car back to me. The fix seems to be correct (issue is not occurring anymore) and the car was cleaned before returning to me. In addition they did a quick inspection to ensure everything else was good and sent me a video of their inspection and the results. Last item, I have been working with Kyle as my service advisor for years. He is always friendly and professional ALWAYS listens and works hard to get my issues corrected. I can t say enough about the great service, especially after having poor service at other providers.

Dealer does good work with a positive attitude but seems a bit oversold on service times. Had to wait 30 minutes past scheduled time to leave vehicle for an oil change that took nearly 3 hours which made waiting impossible. An Uber was arranged which was appreciated. You should also expect to wait up to 20+ minutes to have your vehicle brought up after paying for the service. Seems like a lot of wait time for scheduled appointment.
My tire blew out and I called to schedule an appointment, I was given one right away! There was a tire in stock and they fixed it in less than 2 hours. In LOVE BMW Mountain View service!
Overall smooth and excellent service. Quick, through, friendly and professional ancross the board. They even sent me a video clip from the service professional walking under the car and discussing the status of all the points checked during the service.
Very positive experience! We had to wait a bit to get our car checked in but then we were given a loaner i5 that was great to drive and we didn t need to worry about gas. Car was serviced in few hours but it was a good service. Would go here again!
Very professional all the way through, from check-in to pick-up. Warranty work performed better than expected. Only issue is regarding charging of EV. I checked in my 530e PHEV with 1/4 battery full. The car was returned to me with empty battery, even though the car was kept overnight. I think BMW of Mountain View should have a policy of returning EV s with full charge . More and more customers are going to bring in EV s for service. Will they be returned to the customers with depleted battery? Not critical in my case but one less star for this. :)
The service went pretty smooth from start to finish. I had to bring in the car twice since the first diagnostic pointed to the wrong part. The actual faulty part was ordered from Germany hence the 2nd visit. The problem I had was with the SA that was assigned to me. After describing the issue to him where the left rear window couldn t be controlled from the driver s switch but with it s own switch, would roll down and up in increments, he asked about the tint on the window. He said it might be the cause of the problem. What? I explained to him that I tried some YouTube methods since I have an older E90 that did the same thing. He then mentioned that it might not be covered under warranty and charge me diagnostic fees if it were the case. I m not sure if it s a company policy for the SA s to disclose this information to the customer but it made me feel like it was my fault before even looking into it! With this now in the back of my mind, I decided to not leave the car and called my tint installer if there s anything he might have done to cause this issue. I had 4 other vehicles done at this place with no issues. I sat through each install and not one door panel was removed in the process. The tint was installed 8 months prior and was working until a couple days ago. I then made an appointment to go ahead and have this looked at. I got a loaner so that was cool. It was later determined that the part needed had to be ordered from Germany and would take a couple of weeks so I decided to return the loaner and come back when the part comes in. When time to return the loaner, I walked up to my SA s desk and waited for him to finish his phone call. It must have been at least 5 minutes of me pacing back and forth in front of his desk before I finally waved at him to let him know I was here. He directed me to go to the rental office and resumed with his phone call like I knew that s where I was supposed to go?!? What happened to customer service?? The part arrived and my 2nd visit was with a different SA and was informed that my original SA called in sick. This time everything went great and was treated like a customer all throughout the repair that took a day, Great job Kevin!! My original SA was still out the next day when I returned the loaner and got my car back. The window now works. The problem was a faulty wire harness.

It was decent. A bit slow to be honest, I made an appointment at 9:50am and it didn t show in their appointments unless they went to cashier to rebook my appointment for some other time. Then they made me wait for an hour to find me an expert. Once, I am handed over to an expert, things were smooth and quick. But admin works of maintaining appointments is not trust worthy. It s slow and almost make it feel like a walk in waiting for 90 minutes. I would go back to this store only if it s an emergency issue as it s close to my home.

I arrived at 10am for a rim repair appointment (which I had to follow up three times via email to get). I was told it takes an hour or so to do. I m thinking perfect I ll be out of there by 11:30 at the latest. I was then approached by the service adviser and he told me the rim repair person doesn t come in until 1 or 2. I then of course asked why I was told to come at 10. No real answer. I asked talk to the manager and ended up never getting him. I live about 45 non-traffic minutes away. In short, I left my house at 7:30am and ended up back at home at 3pm. Very disappointing. Had to use a day off at work to get a rim fixed. I was using my tire and wheel protection so hopefully they don t treat all their customers coming in for a free service this way. Likely will go to Weatherford or SF from now on.
I have to say I am deeply disappointed. I just got my first BMW after being a very loyal Lexus customer. Lexus customer service is AMAZING! This BMW service center is an hour from my house. They failed to do the repairs correctly the first time, after 4 days in the shop, so I had to give the car back to them for another 2 days. To their credit, they did come pick up my car and drop it off the second time around. That saved me 2 hours of my life...but they returned the car with a bone dry tank of gas! Not cool!!! I even topped off their loaner car. I am relocating, so will not be using this shop again. If I wasnt relocating, I still wouldnt use this service center again.

After 3 years, I finally scheduled a Service ReCall with BMW of MV for my 2006 330 convertible. I was concerned that they would try to upsell me on doing alot of additional service. Pleasantly surprised when the technician did a full review of the car and described what is needed via video ... My response, No thanks, car is old, I dont want to invest more money ... OK, understood no problem. In addition, they provided me a brand new M430 convertible to drive for 2 days while the recall was completed. I figured a sales person would meet me when I returned it. No, dropped the car in the service department with no questions asked. I actually walked into the sales office to find out what the car costs; I was impressed. Overall experience was fantastic, scheduled and delivered with No Pressure and No Hassle. I will be back there in the future.

Hugo did an excellent job as a first time customer when I brought in my Z4. I plan on bringing my BMW i3 in for service as well because Hugo did such a great job.
Service is perfect when I want to purchase the car, but not really good when I want to cancel something because no one responds with my request. If you could make it clear or do any form to cancel add on something on website or anyone to contact, service will be perfectly.
BMW service department of Mountain View is Outstanding! I recently had my 2016, 528i serviced which needed extensive repairs. My service advisor, Wayne Chan, was fantastic at getting the necessary diagnostics done, secured a loaner car for me and is friendly as well as professional! I m happy to have my car back that s running well and I will continue to have my car serviced here in the future.
Kyle keep me up-to-date on the progress of my service. He was responsive to my messages. Requested service was performed satisfactorily. I appreciated the pic of my car provided to me upon completion.

The whole shop does a great job. Techs are quick and efficient. Service Advisors are personable and are on top of their stuff. I had never brought a car for service at a dealer before but Kyle O makes it too easy to go anywhere else.

Everything went smoothly, everyone is very respective, polite, no unnecessary services were pushed (as in many other places would be) and overall I had a great experience.
Not super happy with the experience. This was the second trip I made to the dealership for perma plate, the first being cancelled AFTER I arrived at the dealership. I was fine to let that go, things happen and schedules get messed up. The current visit started great. The loaner car was ready when I arrived. I was in and out quickly. It was supposed to be a two hour process and I was in first thing in the morning...simple. Near the end of the day, I reached out to ask if my car would be ready before close. I received no answer. It was Saturday so I would be in the loaner until Monday. Monday came and went, no contact from the dealership. Tuesday morning I emailed to ask when my car would be ready. I received nearly an immediate call back saying my car was ready...I was thrilled. I drove to the dealership at lunch to get my car. As I walked over to it I noticed it was covered in fine dust/pollen. Clearly it had not been finished Tuesday morning. I emailed the service advisor over lunch, asking exactly when my car had been completed and told him the car was covered in dust. The response was oh it was finished midday yesterday, no response to the fact that I got the car back actually in worse shape than I dropped it off. Bottom line...super unhappy.
As always, everyone at BMW of Mountain View provided excellent customer service. Unfortunately the cost to repair my vehicle was greater than its value and I had to sell it.
Wayne did a great job in communication, discussing all options, and help with pick up, etc.
Mountain View BMW service is the best service I have ever had!! And Kyle is the best with setting up appointment and always keeping me informed and working to give me the best deal available. I really appreciate it!! And when needed I get a loaner, which is so helpful!! They have also over time taken great care of my car and I have very few if any problems. Thanks for your great service!!

Hugo helped me on my car annual maintenance service. Had excellent experience with Hugo. He was very open and honest, and explained things very clearly to me . Hugo did not push me for purchasing any non-mandatory services. If I need more service or change parts for my BMW in future ,will definitely contact Hugo.
Good service, good techs, but they still pull the found something small wrong that will cost $1500 to fix game. I understand it s corporate pressure, just have to deal with it unfortunately-do your due diligence. Or - be best friends with your indy mechanic.

I recently visited BMW of Mountain View to get all four tires changed, and I couldnt be happier with the service provided by advisor Wayne Chan. Wayne was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and ensured that the tire change was done efficiently and effectively. The overall service at BMW of Mountain View was exceptional, and I highly recommend Wayne and the team for all your automotive needs.

Living up to the definition of stealership every time I go in for service. I truly know better and mostly avoid the dealership but yesterday was the last opportunity to have the dealer do a full check before warranty expired. It starts with an incomprehensibly bad appointment system which is both confusing and proved no way to edit your appointment (or apparently get any notification and reminder) if you leave the immediate confirmation screen. Arrival at the center is smooth and easy, but the upsell starts immediately, from moderately worn back tires (not really) to your battery probably needs to be replaced based on age. On the battery, the alarm bells go off especially since they havent actually tested the battery and when asked to they offer a $300 electrical inspection fee to tell you if the upsell is required. Seriously. The lounge is comfortable but no notifications or updates and when I went to check 2 hours later, another agent had to help me (as mine was busy with a customer) and he confirmed my car was done. How long would I have waited if I hadnt gone and checked. All service was done, the simpliest warranty service they could muster and then....they lost my car in the garage....and couldnt find the keys...... The desk agents (and my service agent) were all very nice during this extra 20min wait and I didnt make a fuss, but seriously.....a comedy of errors listening to the walkie talkie chatter. Bottom line, as I probably already knew, dont go to the dealer unless you absolutely have to, its just not worth it especially with great independent shops all around us.
BMW provided a nice loaner car while getting a 30,000 mile service. The wait was not too long. They sent me a video of the underbelly of my car and went through the details of what they did. Brandon is my service representative and he made sure I had everything I needed before I left. Would recommend

I needed an oil change and new filters, as always I received great service and a video showing me the undercarriage of my car with a description of how the engine, tires, brakes were wearing. BMW of Mountain View offers great service.
