Silicon Valley Performance Truck and Auto Repair in Mountain View

I wouldn't advise going here unless you have any knowledge of what needs to be done to your vehicle because you'll have to fix what they did wrong. All this shop wants to do is tack on more work to rob you of your money and won't do quality work no matter what the job is. Also, when I left the shop with my vehicle I didn't have any brakes because they failed to hook back up a line that they had taken off to do the job which i had to fix myself on the side of the road, too bad I didn't wreck, I probably could've sued and had their doors closed so no one has to deal with their incompetence. Can't stress enough to not go here for service unless it's getting windshield wash topped off, and that's a stretch.

I can sum my experience with SV Performance: They're Pro's. They know their business and do it very well. I've brought my truck in for two separate issues and I've been extremely satisfied with their explanation of the issues and their resolutions. It's a first rate shop.

I found SVP by sheer chance when searching up a local shop to help diagnose my A/C issue. Glad to have found them as they were courteous, professional, and concise. They were clear in explanation when it came down to expectations and possibilities prior to diagnosis. Luckily they were able to fix my issue but did lay out information of what may need to be done if they leak still persisted. I've been lucky enough that the leak hasn't happened again and they my A/C is working without issue as far as I can tell. I highly recommend this shop for A/C recharge/repair/diagnosis. I can't attest to other services they offer but with my experience with them, I don't doubt their other services are just as outstanding.

They also recommended additional maintenance to get my 2014 car back into great shape, which I truly appreciated. More recently, I had another frustrating issue pop up. Erick and Julian quickly located the problem and managed to fix it within the same day. What’s even better? It was far more affordable than I expected—I thought it would be a several-hundred-dollar repair! I took my car in with a significant electrical problem that two other facilities could not solve. They were able to find the problem and repair it. In addition, they were very honest regarding the pricing. I cannot recommend silicon Valley performance any higher they are an outstanding repair shop!

I was visiting from out of state, and the shop got me in the same day that I called them after getting towed to my destination. The staff and front desk were super friendly, helpful, informative, and quick to finish the job. I had a warranty through NAPA auto care, which was taken care of swiftly and without issue. I have difficulty finding shops that work on my diesel van, and they were knowledgeable and confident in their work. Highly recommend, 11/10. Very appreciate of them, and will definitely use them if/when I am in the area again and in need.

They have taken great care of my three vehicles over the past several years and I highly recommend them. They were recommended to me a few years back by people I know who know cars and they use these guys. That was good enough for me and they were right. They do excellent quality work and they are easy to talk to about your car issues.
