Exceptional service at an affordable price. I have taken my car here for many years. This last time the wipers were not working. All it needed was a screw tightened. The technician took care of it right away at no charge. I definitely recommend taking your car here for any repairs.
Would give A1 Foreign Auto 10 stars if I could. I was led here by the exceptional Google reviews and agree with the folks that have said that coming here is like having a family member in the business. This business is honest, fast, thorough, and professional. Have had my Tesla model Y serviced here and got fair quotes, with fast turnaround times and my car ready when they said. When I came back with a tire issue after driving over a nail, they had all my info saved and had my car back to me in under a day with the tire (under warranty) fixed completely free—not even a service charge. Brady has taken care of me each time and I felt he was truly professional, courteous, and 110% knows his stuff inside and out. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate to come here. Thoroughly honest, fast, and completely professional. This business is a treasure for Mountain View.
I think the price is not reasonable here and this is what I experienced: They don't have clear price for each fixing item and they do "inspection" first and ask you to sign a paper that charges $200 for "inspection". At this point, they don't share the price of any potential issue you want to fix. After the "inspection" you have 2 choices: spending $200 for no service or spending whatever they ask for the fix. In my case, they charged $500 for changing ignition switch, which is higher than what the dealer asked. But I cannot go to the dealer at this moment because I have to pay this store $200 for nothing (or so called "inspection") if I switch to the dealer. Btw, this store charges $140 for oil change. I would recommend Valvoline in 0.5 miles for doing a fast full synthetic oil change service at a similar or less (with coupon) price. My point is I don't think this store is as good as what is showed in their reviews (I'm suspecting the source of those reviews now). Maybe this is how the auto repair industry works but hope my experience could help you take a second thought when choosing this store and avoid being ripped off.
Great service! I have been going to this shop for my regular auto maintenance for three years now. Brady was very honest about the dented oil pan replacement the time I needed a replacement. When the pan was replaced I realized my mileage went up. All other times the maintenance was just replacement of oil and small parts like o-rings and the total charge comes out to be $96.
Upon recommendation from a long time A1 customer friend of mine, when I took my 2001 Lexus ES300 to A1 for an overdue servicing, I found the proprietor mechanic and colleagues very knowledgeable and honest. I then recommended my other friend bring his similar Lexus to A1 and he had a similar positive experience.
The owner and mechanics have been servicing all of my family's vehicles for at least the last decade. They are always fair, reliable, timely and professional. I've never had to question any of the repairs done by then or the legitimacy of those repairs.
When the local dealer told me I needed 3 major repairs with a $4k price tag, I turned to A-1 for a second opinion. Not only did they save me $, but they were honest about the repairs that did not need to be done while also finding a new issue which actually did need attention. Agree with other reviewers that the staff is friendly. They did major maintenance on my Toyota and I will trust them to do all our car repairs going forward. No need to go anywhere else.

I have 3 words to describe my experience. Honest. Timely. Experienced. The quote was accurate, and the estimated time to get it done was accurate. The service was excellent. I also felt that the price was reasonable. I felt like a person, not just a number. I would go there again.

8140 is a great place to have your car serviced the woman that works out front is very kind and understanding the mechanics are very used to when it comes to working on various cars they are moderately priced its got that old school filled to it so if you need your car done go to a14 Auto tell him Daniel James the abstract art essential no you will not get a discount and she probably wont even know who I am but who cares get your car fixed and get the heck out of there!
They know foreign cars and do good work. Have taken good care of my 89 BMW. Prices are reasonable. Always got my old car to pass smog.

Over 20 years Ive taken generations of cars to John and Cathys expert care. John vetted my first car, predicting everything that would go wrong with it. He was right, everything he said would fail did fail and he fixed it all. They really care about their customers.
First time visit here was this week. Needed an alternator replaced for a Nissan SUV. The repair was completed quickly and about 25% less than the dealer wanted. I will be coming back here for future repairs.

Ive brought my BMW, Volvo and my wifes Hyundai here and each time Kathy charges a little less than quoted and the cars are done a little sooner than expected. John, Kathy and tech are courteous and professional.
The Toyota dealership did a multi-point inspection on my car a month before I took it to A-1 Foreign and the dealership did not notice that the transmission pan was leaking transmission fluid and rattling when the engine was running. The dealership also did not notice that the transmission fluid was dirty, which had not been changed in several years because the dealership had not recommended it after years of multi-point inspections. A-1 Foreign caught this problem and my car no longer rattles underneath and the engine sounds perfect.
Having my own repair shop for 40 years meeting John and Kathy was great. Hard working and honest he could be my brother of a different mother.
Two days ago my iPhone 5 slipped under the driver seat in my Saab and there was no way to get to it without unscrewing the seat partially. When I stopped by there yesterday the mechanic took 10 minutes out of his busy schedule to do it right away and the owner did not even charge me since I have my cars serviced there regularly. Today my Subaru is there for service and the responsiveness and no upward sale mentality combined with their expertise for any car of any age for sure makes me a loyal customer. Andy
Ive been getting my cars serviced at A1 for about 20 years. Its like having a brother-in-law in the auto service business. In fact, its better. I actually have a brother-in-law in the car service business and I dont trust him as much as I trust Kathy and John. Responsive. Fair. Knowledgeable, Trustworthy. What else can you ask for in your mechanic?
