My ford escape needed an ac compressor replacement. Ford dealership diagnosed it first, and wanted too much for the parts and labor. Rommel and the guys at AAMCO helped me get the issue resolved for a much better price, and even had my car initially inspected again at no extra cost in order to make sure that the diagnosis was accurate. I should have taken it to AAMCO first! Really appreciate these guys for doing good business with me, and for getting my car (which has been with me for the past 12 years) back onto the road!
Took my ford transit down to AAMCO in Morgan hill because my van is making a Rattling/vibration. They diagnosed it as 100% the rear differential. Recommended replace entire rear end. We'll i wanted a second opinion so I took it to a different shop and had them open up the rear differential and after inspection they concluded that the rear differential is in perfect working order and there is no reason to replace rear end. So think twice before you take your vehicle here.. I paid them $170 for a false diagnosis. Definitely will not be going there again.
The parts installed failed the next day, and was denied any compensation so I ended up wasting $1400. I was advised before leaving that "if it happens again, then I need my transmission replaced"... The next mechanic was surprised to have heard that after me telling him, since nothing of the sort showed up on the diagnostic. It was fixed by simply re-doing the same job that Aamco did.
When I needed brakes for my Hyundai, Rommel was immediately there to help. So refreshing to get an engaged knowledgeable professional after 3 Hyundai Dealerships failed to call back with a service estimate. Rommel had me bring the car in for an immediate inspection and estimate. True to his word, when I brought the car in next morning he ordered up the parts for my car, received them within an hour, and performed the repairs in just a few hours. Couldn't ask for anything better. I am fully recommending AAMCO of Morgan Hill to all my family, friends and neighbors. Great job Rommel!
