Not a lot of talk, but get the work done! "Drop the car, and give the key". He'll tell what it need to be done. Very professional, honest, and reasonable price!
The service was disappointing. The person in the "office" didn’t even greet me—just stared without saying a word. I arrived around 4:30 PM for a smog check and was abruptly told, "I don't have time for that." Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place.
Front office is always super rude and dismissive. Had the same experience years ago, and decided to give it another shot since it's a convenient location. Met with the same dismissive attitude. I never expect anyone to bend over backwards, but I'm not interested in businesses that make customers feel like they are nothing but an inconvenience, especially for a very straightforward job.
They are almost always busy, which says something, "Good, honest repair shop". I've been going to them for years. Best to make an appointment. No frills, no waiting area to speak of, no coffee, etc. But, if you just want your car fixed at a fair rate this place is for you. My whole family and neighbors in the area use them. I've had brakes, oil change, smog check, etc.
Le the owner runs a very organized and professional service for Monterey residents. There is a good energy at his shop and he takes pride in offering valuable service to his clients. We had a smog check and Le went out of his way to answer questions for us. He was extremely helpful and we will be back!
Sort of limited and quick communication, but i asked for a smog check, they told me I could just drop by and I did. Got my car smog checked within 30 min which was great. These guys know what they're doing and they are very quick. Very nice place for a smog check.
