Natale's Auto Service Center in Monterey

A long overdue review: Natale's saved my beautiful 1997 Ranger from the scrap heap. I bought it used --- single-owner, only 75,000 miles and had lived the last twenty years like a pampered house cat, rarely taken out of the garage, so I thought I'd hit the lotto. It drove beautifully for about a month. Then came the oil leaks, followed by an ominous engine ticking. By the time I took it to Natale's, it felt like every additional mile was damaging the truck --- which they confirmed, on the spot. It took two months. They basically rebuilt or replaced everything under the hood. No call went unanswered and I was contacted regularly with updates and estimate adjustments. The transparency was outstanding and the work first-class. Not an odd sound or a drip since. I couldn't be more grateful. I'll never take my truck to another mechanic.

Wonderful service, staff was very kind, welcoming, professional, and explained everything in detail. 10/10 recommend this place, you will know you’re being treated well and your vehicle is in good hands. Highly recommend this shop.

Poppa Joe is the man hands down !!! I had a emergency situation with my daughters vehicle because I am out of state and she lives in monterey and Poppa Joe not knowing us or having any previous knowledge of our situation went out of his way to assist us with the delivery of our vehicle from out of state out of the kindness of his "heart" without charging us a dime. With that said, I will be getting my daughter vehicle serviced with Poppa because I know he really cares about his customers and is willing togo the extra mile for others to make sure your vehicle is right once you leave his establishment. THANKS AGAIN POPPA JOE GOOD LOOKING OUT !!!! MAK..........

Best by far and insanely cheaper than the Cypress Coast. I got brakes on my Subaru for about $1300 when my quote from Cypress Coast was $2790. Additionally I told them I paid over $1300 for the 60K service, they were amazed it cost that much. When I asked them if there was an issue with the alternator because Cypress Coast said it needed to be replaced Natale's said there was no issue with it at all. Seriously, just don't even try the auto mall just take your car to Natale's you truly won't regret it.

I can not over emphasize what a great place this is. I was in a jam traveling through the state and had a problem with my Jeep. We called Natalie's and even though they were very busy, they got us in. The shop is awesome. The employees were so nice. I immediately knew I could trust them. They did a phenomenal job. If I lived here, I would never take my cars to another shop. The owner, Papa Joe, is the nicest man. All I ever want is good work and a fair price. I got that and more. I highly recommend Natalie's Auto. Thanks to them, my travel problem, turned into a great experience.

I called in for an advice and received exceptional service over the phone from two separate people. Polite, honest with no pressure to do repairs. It's so refreshing to come across an honest shop on a out of town trip. I own my own shop in Las Vegas and can tell a good shop from a bad one fairly quickly. You guys are awesome!
