I called A G because I had a leak I couldn’t identify with my transmission. They got me in quickly and were so helpful with identifying and fixing the issue. Really appreciate their help!

I didn't get any services done at this shop but they helped me possibly diagnose a problem without hesitation. They gave me a list of a couple places that could fix the issue. If I do have any transmission issues I'll be sure to come here. Thank you!

Fantastic shop! Gene is really easy to work with. Can't say enough about this place. This place needs to be your first spot when you need transmission work, you'll never go anywhere else!!

The mechanics and all the staff here are wonderful people. I didn't have money and I was originally afraid that my transmission was bad and they told me my transmission runs strong and good and test drove with me. One mechanic from a shop close to them that I went maybe 3 days ago said I had a leaking transmission but I found out at A & G that I didn't. A & G are honest and they saved me around $500 that another place was trying to get. In the future when I have money and need transmission work, this is the shop I want to go to, because I trust them and they're nice people

Fantastic, they rebuilt my '77 C20 transmission, replaced all 3 u-joints, starter / flywheel & exhaust leak for a reasonable price. I highly recommend, Vern was great to work with on scheduling / price / work completion. Now the rig rolls smooth like butter! Conveniently located too. My boss also had her truck transmission rebuilt here as well, she originally recommended this place to me - after checking online reviews and BBB (A+) I felt comfortable taking my truck here and wasn't let down. Thanks Vern & team!

We have taken 3 vehicles here over the last 7-8 years. The first two experiences were excellent. One was a complete transmission rebuild and the other we had issues with our transmission and they fixed the issue, the third most recent time we took a vehicle in was for simple maintenance. We just wanted to have the fluids and filter done so we brought it in. Having had a good experience the other times we brought our van in to have the transmission maintenance done. It was an all day thing which isn’t an issue, but they didn’t even call to let us know it was done, we had to call them an hour before they closed to find out it was even done because we hadn’t received a call yet and it was done when we called so how long it was done and ready I’m not sure. We live 45 minutes away something I relayed. Not really an issue, I just think if we hadn’t called we probably wouldn’t have gotten a call until right before they closed or at all. My second issue is that shortly after we noticed the transmission started to leak. We called and they said to bring it back so we took it back and they said the pan needed to be sealed so they sealed it and topped off the fluid or implied that they topped it off and we shouldn’t have any issues with leaking. We didn’t have issues leaking but the next few times driving we noticed the van having an issue with RPMS fluctuating and going to die when taking off and having an issue going in between gears. We did have a diagnostic code come up for the transmission so we started by checking fluids for the transmission and found that it was low. After putting the correct amount in and test driving we’ve had no issues. They were very good in the past. I was really glad to go to them because of the exceptional service in the past, but I was let down this time. They weren’t a bad company. I’m not sure what happened this time. But this experience unfortunately didn’t work for us. We didn’t have any issues with our van beforehand, they fixed the leak but didn’t top off fluids and that concerns me because it was the whole reason we took the vehicle in. We paid for a transmission maintenance on the van so that included oil, which leaked out because they didn’t seal the pan. It should’ve been topped off after they sealed it. It wasn’t.
