Took a long time. I was told it would take an hour and a half to replace two tires and do a rotation. Ended up taking a little over two hours. If the mechanic stopped chatting with his colleague it could have reduced the time. I will not go back there!

John was so helpful and kind ! The tires I purchased were actually not in stock so they put on different tires which were more expensive but he honored the original price. He was upfront and honest and very easy to communicate with.

Love the people here, they do good work. I do have a gripe that they never want to go above and beyond to work on my truck with aftermarket parts so I m bummed I ll have to find another shop to go to in the future. I m well versed in the parts my truck requires but they have avoided a brake caliper rebuild and control arm bushing replacement which I m surprised an auto shop is uncomfortable doing. At least they know their limitations in their ability to work on vehicles in a more comprehensive matter. The fact that I can do it myself as an individual in my driveway (time allowing) but they won t with a full shop and specialized tooling available to them is disappointing.

They did a tire replacement for me and they did it in a timely manner after they received the new tire. The tire had a screw in the sidewall and had to be replaced. I bought the tire from them and it had road hazard with it, so cost the replacement was very minimum. They also checked the other tires also.

I was helped by Jeremy and Todd, who were both extrey courteous, professional, and just an all-around nice guys. Unfortunately, in trying to avoid hitting an animal I damaged my rim and my tire, and eventually found out that there was more damage than I had initially thought. Thanks to a suggestion from Jeremy, I contacted my auto insurance company, and everything was taken care of promptly. Again, I highly recommend Ramona Tires.

Had to get my tires replaced after a huge bubble made it unsafe to drive. Made an appt for 10am, and since my tires weren t in stock, they had to order them. However they came at 3:30PM and I was called immediately when they arrived and it was accurate timewise with the estimate of when my tires would come. They can be busy, so my tires took about an hour and a half + some to get changed along with an alignment done. Jeremy helped me out and was great. Customer service was good. However I do feel their prices for the products themselves could be cheaper compared to some of the other local competition. I would return here though.

This was a great place. Customer of this place since last 10yr or more. Always had great experience with best customer service in town but recent experience was very bad. New person( I think that his name is Minh) brings negative energy with no smile, pushing unnecessary recommendations , unfriendly talk , negative body language and delaying your job (once you say No to his recommendations). now, I must need to find other shop.

I will use Ramona until I have no need to. After having a slight miscommunication with this shop, I was sure I had to find a new place to take my trucks. But when Todd the manager called me and agreed that the miscommunication was understandable they agreed to just take care of the issues. Its rare to have a company call you back because they were thinking about your issues after the call ended. Excellent customer service. Todd you are the man!

Don t Trust anyone here especially the Manager Todd. I had a tune up on my vehicle and was quoted over $5,000 of necessary repairs. He told me If you take care of this your car will last you a long time and you ve done all the maintenance you could possibly need Less than a month later, I found myself back in his shop because the car was not running correctly and kept veering to the left. The car was unsafe for my family and I to drive. He put our lives at risk. Todd then said that I needed four new tires. I paid the money and he said it would fix the problem. It did not. Then he said he couldn t figure it out and sent me to a different automotive shop that he recommended. The shop owner told me that my car was unsafe to drive. Todd is so greedy and dishonest that he will take money again and again. I am in shock over Ramona tire for the treatment that they gave me and my family. Even to the point that they took an additional $1,000 and kept making false promises of being able to fix the car when indeed it was unsafe to drive. I gave them all of my family savings. When I asked them for a refund or a warranty on the work that they had done only one month prior they told me they could not even though they put mine in my family s life at risk by their lies and constant money grab. Honestly, I would like to take this company to court. I would advise everyone to stay clear of this dishonest company and especially the manager, Todd

Excellent service replacing my rear brakes and rotors. Parts were ordered late afternoon on Friday. Dropped off my car at 8:00 a.m. this morning. Service was completed in an hour. Brakes are working perfectly. HNgo was my service rep and kept me informed of the progress.

I am old customer of Ramon tire. I may have bad or good feeling before today. you know some time feel satisfy some time you dont. Today my car dealer told me there is a nail in the tire when I went for 1st service, so you have to replace that tire.they told me come after 2 days. I went to Ramon tire to get a quote and showed the nail, service person inspected and asked me are you feeling lucky? let me pull this nail and see if this is actually puncture, he pulled the nail and this was small nail, after that tested leaking air or not. it was not. he did this free of cost. so today I saved $250 because of him. thanks Ramon tire.

I showed up an hour and a half before closing without an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. They fit me, everyone there was so friendly and I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of, like some of the other places where Ive paid extra fees or they tried to upsell repairs I didnt need. Great experience!

Used this shop for nearly two decades. Never want to change.

Sent my wife over to this place to have a nail removed and have the hole patched. I was at work and figured it would be worth the $50 (or whatever it cost) She ended up with a quote for over 1k for all new tires . Tire has plenty of life left in it what s the problem? They did find a couple, similar metallic objects in two other tires, they do have a little less life in them. However, upon further inspection, they were not full punctures, just flicked em out with my finger nail and we were good to go. All I m saying - it would be nice to just get what s necessary instead of places holding you over a barrel for more cash. I plugged the tire myself. I d prefer it be patched, but this will have to do. I m sure we could get another year or so out of these... Best of luck to all you who are less mechanically inclined to just take care of basic repairs on your own. Just do your research, use common sense, put faith in people, but don t hesitate to question things Pictures: #1 the nail/puncture in question #2 the plug I repaired it with #3 tread life left in the tire

Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time coming here. I was spoken to as if I don t know anything about tires, simply because I am female. I came here because I noticed a nail in my tire. I had them look at it and the guy told me he could not fix because it was too close too the trim, which it wasn t , but okay so I asked for quotes for one tire and he quoted me 380 something for one tire! I knew that wasn t right. I left brought my car to a different shop and guess what they were able to fix it without replacing the tire with no problem for $20.00!!! And out of curiosity I asked how much a Michelin brand new tire with them would be and he said 210.00.

Store Manager Todd Schobert went out of his way to accommodate my car servicing at short notice. He and the staff are most courteous and extremely helpful with customers. I have been a regular at Ramona Tire for the past 5 years since moving to Mission Viejo. Highly recommended for car repairs/servicing.

Took care of my German made car tire pressure monitor issue after trying couple of new pressure monitor tries making sure warning light id off and the issue has been reolved.

Easy peasy! Car back in time, 22 pt inspection, didn t feel I was getting fleeced. Highly recommend.

I came to Ramona tires to get my air checked because we re taking a road trip. Jesus gladly check the pressure of all my tires and filled him up, but he even recommended checking my spare which I have thought of. He filled the spare up but he showed me how to get the spare in and out of my car and then also how to jack my car up in the event of an emergency. Jesus was the best and I really appreciate the wonderful customer service that he gave me.

Went in for oil change and tire rotation and they called me with almost $1,700 worth of other stuff they wanted to do. Place is a rip off. Everytime i go in for an oil change they somehow find more things they want to do and always over $1,000 worth of repairs. Only reason I still go there is because I have the free lifetime alignment. Place is a rip off otherwise. After every oil change I get done, I take the huge list of things they supposedly find wrong to my family mechanic and he says nope they are wrong on everything recommended to be fixed. Once they wantednto charge me almost $200 to replace my intake filter because it was dirty. When the one I have just needs to be removed and cleaned off with a hose and filter cleaner. This company, especially Sam, always tries to sell you stuff that doesnt need to me done. My sister took her car in the other day and they wanted to charge her $160 to replace her cabin air filter. The filter costs like $16 at a auto parts store and you can easily change it yourself.

Final revision. I initially gave them a 1-star review. My daughter talked me into revising it to a 3-star review. Heres the final version after 2 days and 3 visits. Day 1 (first visit): Needed 4 new tires and alignment ($550). Got a call saying itll be another $100 to remove the locking lug nuts and replace them. Was given a 2 hour time frame. 4 hours later I picked up the car. On the way home, I noticed the low tire pressure warning light. I drove back (Day 1, second visit) and was told to drive it around the block to reset the tire sensor. They should have told me this when I left the first time. The following day, as my daughter drove the to her work, she discovered the right front tire was completely flat. After filling it with air, she had to stop by again for Day 2 (third visit). They told her that it was a faulty stem and fixed it (whatever. . .). I wont be going back and will not recommend them to anyone. Theyre lucky I gave them 2-stars. Maybe its because Im trying to be nicer and that theyre only 3 minutes away from my house.

I was misquoted and waited longer than expected. And the guy said: free. Hooray!

I won t be coming here again. I usually go somewhere else but decided to give them a shot since it was more convenient. Figured I d pay more but save myself some time - I was wrong. After being told on the phone they had the tires I needed in stock and that the job would take 1-1.5 hours I drove there and I was told I spoke to a call center in Kentucky and was given false information. Okay, it s a big company and mistakes happen - I brush it off and have them order the tires so I could pick up the car around 4. Fast forward to finally receiving my car at about 5:30 after showing up and seeing my car on the lift while the guys working chatted it up in the garage. Turns out my tires didn t show up until 4:30 and instead of turning the job around quickly I was left aside. I do not like complaining as I work in the retail/service industry as well but it s a joke how fast the job was done once they were pushed to finish it.

I usually go to the dealersip where i bought my car 8 years ago. I was recommended by my friend to give Ramona Tires and Service center a try. It was a long for me, but it was worth it. They didnt push you to do other services. The price was reasonable if you get a discount.

From the time I walked in I saw Sam deal with client over the phone rudely on multiple occasions and even his own workers he disrespected them. The when when he s around guest he would quickly put on a front as Mr good customer service guy and treated his workers as they were beneath him. Not only did he not attempt to fix my car issue he charged me for something I already knew what this issue of my car was. Beware of the your car needs an alignment upsell. I was tricked into an alignment later to learn that only 1 measurement was out of spec by .02 degrees. Todd, the manager made an issue of my car being out of spec when I asked him how off the alignment was instead of explaining it was barely off. I ultimately had to waste over 2 hours and get the district manager involved to get a refund on the unnecessary alignment in a timely manner. This is not the type of shop that I want to give my business to. Ive been going to this store for over 15 years and this will be the last time.

First of all I want to think Clark. ( LaPaz ) for filling in today at the Santa Margarita in Margarita Station. He was so friendly I started to laugh, in a good way, having small talk, while you re waiting it surely cuts down the stress and the tension. She is by far a top-notch person. I would give him five thumbs up. When I got the text my car was ready which was in about two hours which was unexpected, came back saw Clark. And again he went over what they did and any future needs to the car. I just want to thank you guys for having Clark at this location at this specific time it made everything go smoothly . Wayyy better than VW service department in Irvine- as far as timeliness and communication. I brought my luxury sedan in for a simple alignment, as my car was pulling to one side. The salesman from Ramona Tire called me an hour later to tell me I needed front end work. Unknown to him, I had this work done 12 months ago; the salesman saw microscopic cracks in the bushings and suggested the tires be replaced immediately. I circled back with the mechanic who redid the front end, he took a look and nothing was wrong. Tucker Tire is much more honest. Go there instead.

Dishonest! Recommended brand new tires on my car when I just got brand new ones less than 10k miles ago. Cant trust them.

I need to take a moment and praise Ramona Tires- MV on Portola. I have been bringing numerous vehicles to them since they opened in the mid-90s. They have consistently undercommited and over-delivered their service thru the years. I have had everything from oil changes to brake replacements completed by them. They have always been open with me on what needs to be done and what is optional. They have made valid recommendations with me and ultimately let me choose the course of action that is best for me. I wholeheartedly recommend this Ramona location and refer friends and family to them without hesitation.
