Nice clean place. No a/c but two fans in the room. Big bed, thick fluffy towels, owner is nice and professional . Will definitely return if I'm ever in town again
The lady in charge was very kind. I was looking for a place to stay for one night during my trip. Laguna Lodge provided a very clean room for me. It may not be a 5 star hotel, but it was a 5 star experience for me. I'll definitely stay here again during my next trip.
I booked this room for the weekend of July 21,2024 The room was nice and clean. The manager Alfonso responded quickly ,and was on time. The location is nice it's located in Marina, CA 10 minute drive from seaside 15 min drive from monterey. Will be returning. Sincerely Cindy & Vincent L.
I think that this place may have been an apartment complex at one point in time. It’s a little dated, I’ve stayed in nicer places, but it would be ideal for a family that wants to have a Beach Vacation for a few days. There’s actually a separate bedroom with a large bed in it and a walk-in closet.
We arrived at this motel late at night and left pretty early and not a moment too soon. The rooms are very old and have NO air conditioning. Tiny bathrooms, not very clean rooms with poor ventilation. Only plus is that they have HBO. Not that we benefited much.
The rooms were quiet and clean. I booked this room before I noticed they didnt have AC but it wasn't a problem. They have a stand fan and the weather is cold out almost always you can just open a window. Beds were comfortable also.
It is a nice qwaint lodging. We didn't run into any problems with the facilities. It all looks really nice as when we first compared it to the outside. First mistake. It was really nice inside, no bedbugs. That's a plus. It even has a kitchen. Which is cool but we didn't use it yet :(overall, pretty good place. I'm noy sure if all of em are like this but the one we got is a 3 bed, 2 room 1 bath and 1 kitchen. Good stuff.
This was not my first choice, but the hotel I had originally booked in Monterey cancelled my reservation about 45 minutes before I arrived, so I had to find somewhere close by, last minute. I found the room comfortable and loved that they had a microwave and refrigerator. It was more than I would have paid if I wasn't in a bind, but the gentleman at the front desk was very kind and the location was great. They have more channels available than most, and free wifi. I don't know if I would stay again, as it was a bit out of my budget, but a comfortable place to spend a couple of nights.|I have paid less for a room with more to offer (including a pool, which this place lacks), but I understand that a hotel in a beach town in the summer is going to inflate their prices, so perhaps off season it is more reasonable.
This site says they are pet friendly but they are not. Just FYI
Friendly people, clean room and bed. I have no complaints! I needed a room and you helped me. Thank you :) Safety: Its a safe area, I had no qualms about leaving my motorcycle outside.
ZERO AVOID BED BUGS
It is quiet and had comfortable beds, doesn t have AC but the room has stand fan. The room came with extra bed and has range for cooking but I believe it is over priced $370/night for family room in that location even by last minute booking.
I would never stay here again. The bed sheets smelled like bleach way too much it actually hurt my HEAD. One of the pillow cases had stains on it I had to ask the cleaning lady to change it. The bathtub looked gross
This place was not worth $100+ Maybe $65 with tax on a busy night.
Clean, comfortable room. I got the family room, which had two rooms and full kitchen. I had a couple gripes, though. No WiFi! and the room with king bed had no tv. The tv in other room had limited channels and outdated guide. All in all, not bad. Would ve liked WiFi.

Not at all what we expected. Kitchen had no dishes or pots and pans. Upstairs noise was horrible. Upstairs corner right unit the couple there was smoking pot and playing music on stairs in the morning as we were leaving. Was not the cleanest place. Way over priced!!
Tv didnt work. There wasnt a tub, only a shower. Personal preference. Very clean.

Several good eateries nearby and quick access to highway 1 and Monterey. Also close to the kayaking attractions in moss landing. Wifi is fast and reliable.
the rooms were decent the internet was fine for our phones but terrible for my friend laptop. its lower price for the area. needs were not the greatest or the worst Ive been in.
To be honest, this little hotel looks like a dive motel from first glance. However, I urge others to give it a chance because it turned out to be an extremely quiet and tastefully decorated hotel once here. The only negative comment I have is that the staff wasnt very kind or accomodating.

the suites are perfect for traveling with kids. definitely not fancy, in fact some quirks in our room, but we couldnt have afforded the trip at normal monterey rates. a bargain for the bargain hunters.
Basic clean motel with a really basic breakfast. A place to stay to get you through the night with no frills.
This was a great room at the right price. Close enough to Monterey for easy access to the city.

This was a decent motel. Not much to it but it was clean and great for the price. I will be staying there again.
You get what you pay for. Beds were comfy. I would stay there again. There were some stains on the beds, but not that bad.

Room was clean, but no clock, no clothes iron, no pool, no ice, no breakfast.
Great place to stay. Owners were very nice beds were comfy.
We stayed in the Family apartment with 2 bedrooms Needs some TLC through out the place, Wifi stopped working after a few hours of using it. We told the front desk about it, nothing was done. Since we where on the 1st floor, the upstairs noise is unbearable if your trying to get sleep. Over priced for what you get.
It was a pretty regular motel and a good place but the furniture was pretty dirty
Great no-frills hotel. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. No air conditioning in the rooms, but open windows provided all the circulation we needed for our stay in October. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the rooms. Cable TV and Wi-Fi are free. Location is convenient driving distance from the beach, Aquarium, CSU campus and lots of restaurants. We will definitely be booking here on our next trip to Monterey.

the owners wife is very lazy she was upset because she had to sweep the floor after check out and they dont wash their sheets, she was also mad cause she had to change the sheets when it should be done after every stay
