Walmart Supercenter in Marina

I shopped at Walmart in Seaside, and I was not disappointed.

One of my favorite Walmarts to shop at in the area.kind and curtious workers, 5 star customer service.i highly recommend it over any other Walmart in the 831.

I have had a checker 1/28/25 refuse to bag my groceries in my reusable bags!!! She basically called me a liar to my face and denied she said this!!! More details obviously!!!

The curbside pickup was VERY slow. I sat there waiting for literally 30 minutes even with a scheduled pickup time and my location shared

Not the best Wal-Mart Ive been too. Sometimes they are well stocked, clran and ready, but more often then not, they arent. The place tends to be very, very crowded and the parking can be a nightmare as well. Shirts often tend to be a mess and hard to find, same for pants or pajamas. This place could use cleaning, sorting and better stocking to whip it into shape.

Shopping bags absolutely reek of tobacco smoke, not something I want in my house or touching my groceries.

I was going to a dinner party and picked up a gluten free dessert....which was a hit! It was a quick trip through the quick check and I was in and out in 8 minutes!

Outside is a disaster, dead bird on the ground as you walk in and then birds living in the entrance with bird poop everywhere. Maybe use a few of your employees to keep the outside entrance a place that you dont feel like you are dirty walking in.

Monterey definitely needs more Walmart Supercenters and I mean a full size Walmart with the tire center and everything this many Walmarts are a joke compared to Walmart in Southern California and Las Vegas where you can find ample Walmart Supercenters where you can find nearly everything you need. Monterey County is lacking many of these big chains I need is a shame that if you need to go to a Walmart you have to dry a long distance

Not sure if they have a new manager, but this Walmart location has really improved their service over the last year.

I had a really disappointing experience at Walmart recently. One of the employees, an older lady named Melita, was incredibly rude to us. Her attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming, which made our shopping trip stressful and really uncomfortable.We expect better treatment from Walmart staff, especially since this is supposed to be a customer-friendly environment. Unfortunately, Melita s poor behavior made it clear that this location needs to work on training employees to treat customers with respect.I hope Walmart addresses these issues to ensure this doesn t happen to others.

I find the customer service to be non-existent. Customer service is very mediocre in my experience. I d rather give my money where it does exist.

Great experience at Walmart Marina CA today, sales associates are very friendly and appreciated my business and went out of their way to help me.

I really liked this store because it was open and spacious. I found a great deal on their jumbo eggs.

My DR sent over some antibiotics to this pharmacy yesterday while Im out here working. Because I have bronchial infection. I went to the pharmacy late yesterday to pick up my medicine and they told me that it will not be ready until Saturday. By far this is the most disappointing Walmart Ive ever been into in the pharmacy. Sucks this place really is not ran correctly in the pharmacy. Stupid slow. What do they think that the infection is going to stay at Bay until they give me the medicine. My recommendation to you is to send your medications to a better pharmacy that will not take more than 48 hours to give you your medicine. This is ridiculous. And this store is gross and dirty. I went over to the meat department to get some lunch meat and something smelled rotten in their meat bunkers. Thats just disgusting. I had my doctor send my prescription back to my local Walmart pharmacy at home. And my prescription will be ready for me before I even get home. This Marina Walmart needs a lot of improvement a lot. I have never dealt with so many rude people. Its such a disoriented place in my entire life

Its a five being I check myself out but a zero to answering the phone when u call and ask about product...they never answer the phone...Ive stood in line at customer service desk called watched three people not answer the phone

NOT the kind of place to work for if you have AUTISM! They may have an autism awareness month thing(they just hang decorations of autism awareness and nothing more), but they don t know anything about autism to the point where it s gonna be socially hard with the coworkers jumping to conclusions finding people with autism awkward. It ll be stressful for people in this spectrum. Breaks are gonna be worse than the work. People will become paranoid and call you gay .

Walmarts are walmarts they have always been a littlle ... odd but this one takes the cake. We walked into this one and the shampoo was front and center and not down by pharmacy and there was no gluten free anything anywhere.

I would never shop at Walmart again.The customer service was horrible. I waited 20-30min for a dressing room to be open for me and STILL nobody came. I asked several associates for help and their response was they will page someone or they would get help for that department but nobody ever came to help me. Most of the employees I did see was talking with each other instead of working. I find it very disappointing being that I shop at Walmart frequently but after my experience I wouldn t recommend spending your money there. Go where you are valued at.

Took me 35+ minutes to get my walmart pick up no one came up to me to let me know it will take a bit longer, it s ridiculous, they should have more employees or have their MANAGERS work on the floor too not letting their employees do everything because i don t let me employee do all the work it s all about TEAMWORK. YES IM PISS OFF!

Typical Super Walmart, right off the PCH in Marina, I only go in a pinch because it sucks your soul, but sometimes its worth the entertainment. Most employees are nice here, but trying to find one in the sporting good section good luck. Nice its there, but only go if necessary.

This Walmart is very convenient but they really need to address people shopping in store with their pets (who are clearly not service animals). I have seen dogs being walked on leashes in the produce section who then pee on the floor. People put their dogs in the shopping carts (where you will later put your vegetables, fruits, meats, snacks, etc). I asked if there was a rule about this and was told that technically there was, but that it was NOT ENFORCED. I have seen other big retailers like Costco addressing this issue. Walmart, this one in particular, has increased their staff and wish they would address this problem.

Good selections, items I shop for, specifically at Walmart seem to stay well stocked. Friendly, helpful staff. Cash registers can get backed-up at times, but things flow smoothly it seems. They do check receipts at the door so keep it handy. Haha

Everything is locked up. Takes 20 mins for them to come open up the locked up product. Might as well buy your stuff elsewhere or online.

Its a giant store with lots of products. You can find practically anything here.

I come here often for clothes and household necessities. Sometimes for groceries.

Ive been here a few times shopping for regular items. But some of the produce that Ive been seen in the front underneath the big skylights that have no UV filters are just simply over ripe. Also I pointed out several times to the food and beverage manager and the GM about the right side beer cooler not working correctly and being 64° constantly or on defrost and theres a little display on the wall cooler for everyone to see. That beer is no longer good has been sitting way too long at room temperature not getting cold they told me its a third party that needs to come and fix it and I explained to them they should just call the refrigeration repair people in Salinas and they said they cannot thats a bunch of BS what Walmart is telling me. Im not buying my beer from this Walmart again and why do they still have a self-checkouts they were supposed to be getting rid of those and hiring more employees to run the cashiers. Also you have too many employees theyre just wondering around doing other jobs that dont seem to be that important other than stocking the shelves or filling out other customers orders running around with the blue carts and running into people with them. It takes almost 20 minutes to 25 minutes from a locked area now its absolutely ridiculous just because its a high value item or so small it keeps getting stolen.

This is our goto store for everything, including its wonderful pharmacy, where you will find Kelly. She is the one who is usually assisting us and she is the best!. She will go the extra mile, every time.

Curbside service is fantastic. They get the 3 stars. They get no stars for in-store service because there is none. They keep bike tubes and tires under lock and key that no one comes to unlock for you. So I found a folding chair on one of the other aisles and reached onto a high shelf above that glass cabinet to all the loose overstock and pulled it down within reach. Customers will still have to use the folding chair but at least theyll be able to get what they need. Thanks for nothing Walmart.

Horrible service. Went looking for some cotija cheese and asked a guy if he could check in the back as there were none on the shelf left. He said that s a different department that has nothing to do with my area. Too lazy to just check the back. Don t catch his name but he was a black older man stocking the meat section.

Great Walmart with a wide selection. The store looks clean and tidy and the staff is very friendly. You can find everything you need there and that is nice. Its not really special of course because its still a Walmart.

Its sad when a DISABLED CUSTOMER has to do MANAGEMENTS JOB. The staff were lying about the motorized scooters saying there is one being used, there is two being used, when someone else asked. Like which is it??! Yall cant even keep the lies straight. I sat there and waited for 20 mins for a scooter because I had already taken 3 buses to get there and I was expecting to be able to give my arthritic back and unstable knees a break while shopping! NOPE! At one point, it looked like she got tired of me sitting there and kept saying they are being used, and waved at me like she wanted me gone! Its crazy how yall work there every week and know exactly what works and what doesnt but you arent pressuring management to make the store run smoother for yourselves and the customers. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO ADA COMPLIANCE. You are welcome for the new motorized carts yall for some reason couldnt be bothered to ask for!??!!!

Went to Walmart to get some mens sweats, and this is the first location Ive EVER seen that didnt have any. Picked up another item and went theough the self checkout and the guy (wearing a mask) at exit WATCHED me check out and pay then asked to see my receipt. Nope, not playing that stupid game Walmart. Thankfully I was just in Monterey for the weekend and wont have to come back to this location, EVER.

It was good while it lasted. Customers and sometimes workers are discriminatory and evil lately. Also self checkouts being shut down is just annoying nowadays. Marina is not a good place to live in either way.

The Wall Mart outlet provided an excellent service with easy and friendly access for all including physically challenged shoppers, it has wheelchair access and a good parking area with over 30 parking spaces.

Crystal clear directions to busy store location. Garden section was well stocked. Except for dirt bags, outside building

I would give zero stars if I could. I goes to this Walmart EVERY weekend to shop for her business. I was going to use the Self checkout but because I had a couple items more than the limit, I was instructed to go to the other lines. There were employees standing around and chatting, and I had to wait in line for 30Mins waiting for one person ahead of me to get checked out. However the line was NOT moving because the person ahead needed an item from a locked cabinet, but due to language barrier, she wasnt able to process her credit card payment clicking No instead of yes. I requested a manager or someone else to come help due to how long Ive been waiting to get checked out. Manager comes and helps the customer BEHIND me even though I was next in line. I was fuming by this point and she says shell help me after the person behind me due to the situation. When she finally helped me, she sensed I was mad, and then said she cant help me if Im mad and said she has the right to refuse a customer. There is no sign for this right posted. She said she didnt need a sign. I was so frustrated with the lack of customer care and service, I walked out without any purchases.

Bathrooms need attention, and the floors look as though they are only using the Dimond pads with no follow-up buffing for the shine. Only staff I saw were those on the front end watching people during the purchase part of their trip.

Like the store over all! But recently they stopped carrying Sams Club 28 Economy 20oz case of water. Had to drive all the way to Gilroy to buy that type of water. None of the local Wal-Marts are carrying it. Please reorder that 28 Economy 20oz Sams Club water.

Good deals on plastic storage bins (which is what I went for). Fine parking, slow cashier but friendly! Low stress all around.

A Ton of Great Hard working Employees!!

There is alot of employees with mugged faces on. There should be smiles and they should keep merchandise out of the middle of the rows. Its very inconvenient because you cant reach items or go thru. It would be better if they wait until closing time to do the restocking of inventory. Also many employees just standing around not sure what they are waiting for.

No more self checkout. Now, when you have a few items, you have to wait in long lines behind folks with baskets full of stuff! UGH! Definitely not coming here any longer.

They shut down self check out and make it very difficult to get checked out! Very unpleasant atmosphere, lazy workers who feel entitled and that you owe them for shopping there! Cant wait to go to Target self checkout from now on!!

Clean, well stocked and neat store. Great price on produce. Knowledgeable electronics staff. Friendly returns. Without receipt three returns up to fifty dollars each per year. With credit card purchases no receipt needed.

Curbside pickup was quick and my order was correct. In store, this location lacks the clothing stock that most supercenters have. Its rainy season here, but I saw no actual raincoats or slickers, just a few Totes ponchos. I also wish there was a way to request that this store (my local store) carry a product that I have to drive 47 miles to purchase from Walmart in Gilroy, since its not available for shipping.

They SHUT DOWN their Self-Checkout PERMANENTLY! Thank you Walmart for making us wait in 15 minute lines for a few items. NO THANK YOU. Ill go elsewhere.
