He was extremely helpful, kind, and quick with service. Going to a mechanic is always worrisome, because you never know if they are going to try and oversell you. I came in with an issue, he fixed it in a few hours, and I did ask if he found any other issues, he gave me an idea of things we could do down the line, but that nothing was absolutely necessary right now :) Would return if I have any car trouble in the future!

My starter had failed me and i came across monterey mobile mechanic. Justin was very professional and found the problem to my car not wanting to start. He got my starter replaced and installed within 2 hours i am very grateful an would recommend to check them out for your car needs.

When my old 4-Runner needed some work I hit the jackpot as Justin took the project on as if it was one of his own vehicles. His estimate was informative to the scope of work, updates were provided throughout the day, and he corrected substandard work by other shops. I definitely recommend and plan on being a repeat customer.

Jack is absolutely awesome and here's why: 1. Had an issue late at night and was able to easily book a calendar appointment with him first thing in the morning via his website. 2. I received a text and phone call from him the next morning to follow up on my issue. 3. He was super knowledgeable and took 5 min out of his day to answer all my questions. 4. He arrived on time for the appointment, inspected my car and was able to quickly diagnose the issue (problem with my supplemental braking system). 5. And here's the big one - HE IS AN HONEST AND A STAND UP GUY. Even though he recommended to get a new supplemental braking system and do a brake fluid flush he recommended that I wait and do it at my next scheduled major service as it wasn't something that was immediately needed. He was straight up, walked me through everything, gave me a recommendation that saved me money and since it was so quick he didn't even charge me for coming out to check my vehicle. This is my new favorite mechanic shop. It’s a hidden gem— husband/wife team, fun punk-rock atmosphere, whisky and coffee, quality service, fair prices. Magi-Zine and Jack are easy to talk to. They care about their customers as much as they care about the cars. I almost wish I had more frequent car problems so I can go more often. I highly recommend this shop for anyone who wants more than just a routine service — it’s a genuinely enjoyable experience.
