FERNANDO IS AWESOME!!!! He is very kind, helpful, responsive, patient, and knowledgeable. He saved me money on a pre-purchase inspection of a used car just based on the Carfax report and photos -- he really took the time to point things out to me and show me what to look for when buying a used car (very helpful for someone from NYC who hasn't bought a car in 20 years!!). He then "approved" the car which I am now driving (including telling me a couple things that helped me negotiate with the dealership), and it is indeed perfect! (Even LA natives are impressed with my find and its condition!!) He's helping me also with all the other little things that a "new" car owner should know. I cannot say enough good things about Fernando and VMA!!! 10/10 - Highly Recommend!!!

I cannot recommend Villa Marina Auto Care enough! The services I receive are always very thorough and timely. I have an older 2012 Kia Soul and when it comes to major repairs, VMAC has always proven to be honest about necessary repairs versus a service that can wait. Fernando also provides excellent future service advice about oil changes, etc. Also, I take the AAA approved status as helpful and with a great guarantee of work should something happen. I also recommend you plan and make an appointment. Drop off your car in the morning and hope to pick it up before closing. I recommend you make on your appt on a weekday instead of a weekend.

Called AAA to have my battery replaced and they sent someone from this shop to do the service. After popping open the hood, technician asked if AAA quoted me a price. When I said no, they claimed it would cost $330. I showed them a previous invoice from AAA for the same work done in 2020 and jr was $253. Technician then claimed inflation was $17 a year (where did this number come from???) and that the installation was not standard. I then asked to see the cost of the battery and he pointed to the $223 non-member price despite me being a member and that price being listed at $199. I eventually told them to leave as I felt I was being exploited and would be taking my business elsewhere. Been a AAA member for 20+ years and never had an experience like this. Cant believe a reputable company such as AAA would be affiliated with a predatory shop like Villa Marina.

The battery in my 5 year old car finally gave out and my regular mechanic was swamped with work so the company I called for a jumpstart was Villa Marina so I went over and got the battery replaced. While they were doing it, I found out that they are separate companies. They did a great job and I was out of there quickly. They even had the battery in stock.

Fernando has helped me twice while I was traveling in LA and needed quick repairs done on my Porsche Macan. Super communicative and friendly - they work extremely fast and are very intentional about using oem parts. Cannot recommend these guys more - amazing experience

Fernando helped me ensure that my car is safe for an upcoming cross-country road trip. He walked me thru what could be done now vs down the line and I really appreciated it!

I came in beacuse my dealership service center had given me a huge maintenance estimate fixing all kinds of things I did not know were an issue. Villa Marina Auto Care was on the AAA site and had good reviews so I came in for a 2nd opinion. Fernando and his team were very quick and detailed in breaking down what was necessary and what it seemed like the dealership was tacking on just to make money. I wound up paying far less at Villa Marina but getting much clearer and better service. It was done overnight and Fernando even followed up a few weeks later just to make sure the car was running well. I'll definitely be back for my next service.

Fernando and his team are the best. Their prices are fair, they are trustworthy and only recommend services you really need. Fernando is also a super nice guy who is happy to take the time to explain all the details of each service so you come away a little more educated about your vehicle each time.
