SALINAS TIRES WHITTIER LOCATION...The men at Salinas tires whittier....Brian and Oscar were very professional, clean, understandable, and most importantly....HONEST. There is no BAIT AND SWITCH going on here. If they see any kind of an issue with your car while installing tires...they bring it to your attention, show you what is not good, and also offer for their shop to fix it if you choose. After going to 5 different local tire shops in Norwalk...and being LIED to...SALINAS TIRE WHITTIER is the only tire shop I will ever go to again. Wonder how honest the guy working on the tires is? Tire had a screw which I noticed when I was at telegraph/Klinedale. Drove to this tire shop hoping the air wouldn't leak too much and damage the tire. Once arriving the tire didn't look low, I wanted to get the tire checked to see if the screw went through because when I poured water over the screw no bubbles appeared but to be sure it was ok still came to the tire shop. When I saw the guy about to work on the tire to patch it I asked if the screw had gone through and his answer was the tire was all flat. I don't know how the tire was all flat yet when I arrived there the tire wasn't flat or even low.

Big thank you to Brian at Salinas Tires, I had a flat tire on a Sunday morning, thankfully this place was open. Brian was honest and saved me costly repairs which America Tires were trying to con me into purchasing. Thank you also to Chico who repaired my tire and was honest with the price as well. Had a flat occur after running over a large nail while on my way home from work. Pulled in to Salinas tires. The team was kind and very helpful. They had the tire removed and repaired in no time flat. I am beyond grateful for salinas tires and will continue to bring my business here.

Got my wheels, tires and a level kit done for a great price and it came out looking amazing. Brian helped me set everything up and got me in and out of the shop as fast as they could. Great communication and they told me if I had any problems they’d be willing to help and just give them a call.

Honest prices, quality service and work. Bonus points for having a clean restroom. Will definitely be taking my car here moving forward.

Ok I have been using this tire shop for years. The one off Monte Vista. I bought a used BMW recently last 6 months and the tire kept going low. I took it to Salinas off Whittier and they said it had to have a new tire put on as there was a nail in the side wall. I just bought a new set $1000 as they were worn, the next day my husband bumped the curb backing out it slashed the brand new tire another $300 very next day. Now our Mercedes had all new tires put on there 3 months ago $2000 yesterday the tire went flat took it to pep boys they said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. We put it back on and flat again this morning. Took it to Whittier and what a surprise we have another nail in the side wall? How common can it be to get a nail in the same spot on two different cars less then 6 months that can’t be repaired and had to have a new tire? That was again another $300 now I have another tire that is peeling on the side I’m about to take it there how much do you want to bet it also has a nail in the side wall? I’d be careful with this place no longer will I be buying anymore tires here ever again especially since pep boys said there was nothing wrong. Photos are now of the peeling tire bought there, less then 1000 miles driven let’s see what they say. I bet another $300 and possibly another side wall nail?
