Warning if you want for alignment service with warranty. They won't honor the warranty to realign your car because your car doesn't have new tires and the reason is because one tire has very bad alignment in first place..they want you to buy new tires with them or have the car with new tires or won't honor the warranty?! That's scam...they shouldn't do the first service in first place if the cars have used tired tho! Don't fall for their long warranties go to a cheaper place get your service done as least you know you will came back later and not overpaying for something they won't honor but in their own stupid terms.
I've taken my Jeep Gladiator to Wheel Works in Los Gatos to have the steering aligned twice under the lifetime wheel alignment plan I purchased with them. Both times I dropped it off in the morning, and both times my vehicle wasn't ready until just before closing at 6:00. What's more, is that my vehicle wasn't on the rack until after I showed up to pick it up, making me wait 90 minutes. However, my real rub is that after both trips my steering wheel was out of alignment by 30 degrees. Within the first day of driving, the stability control service light came on. This is because the steering angle sensor is out of range. Both times, I re-centered the steering wheel in my shop. On the second time I did this, I found that all 4 locking nuts on my steering were left loose. This is completely unacceptable, and dangerous. I suspect I was one of the last vehicles of the day, and the tech(s) were being hasty . Either way, I will try a different Wheel Works shop one more time. Hopefully, this experience will be better. BTW - I ranked them 2 stars only because the people at the front desk have been friendly and responsive.
The service was excellent. And while the wait was a little longer than stated, the staff was amicable and professional and responsive to my questions. Also, excellent value for the service provided. While waiting in the lobby, I was able to observe the management team expertly handling what seemed to be a very busy day/time. The front-end service team led by the manager Monica was top notch.
Took my 2019 Mazda CX-9 in for an oil and filter change, and tire rotation 22 March, 2025. Next day, noticed that the wrong oil viscosity was used for my engine. Went back, explained the situation to Kayla. She explained the situation to technician Kyle. Kyle then drained the wrong oil, loaded the correct viscosity, and had me back on the road in about 30 minutes. Mistakes happen. Delighted that these two made it right!
We have been loyal clients of this Wheel works. They always offered a good service. I have referred friends and family to service their cars here and everyone feels the same. I especially would like to acknowledge Monica, the service manager, who knows how to bring good employees. Kyla is the front desk and customer service is great with customers and Victor was my mechanic twice and I will request him again.
I came in to have my father’s car checked out for sale after he passed. Monica was empathetic and gracious, and took exceptional care of me. I can’t thank her enough and recommend you pay her a visit. You’ll be happy you did!
I have been going to Wheel Works for tire services for years now. Back in the early 2000s, I got bad service from one of shops in San Jose and avoided them for years. But I am happy to say that most likely management has changed for the better. This is my first time at the Los Gatos location and getting alignment done. The staff is friendly and happy to say that customer service has improved ten-fold. I would definitely suggest coming to Wheel Works for services. I might get services done here at this location even though it is farther away from home.
This location used to be great and my go-to for oil changes. Recently made an 8am appt for an oil change. At 3:45 shop called with other recommended services, nothing major. Car wasn’t ready at end of day. Went to Pick up car at 11:30 am on Saturday morning. Still not ready because the tech slept thru his alarm. Went to pick up car an hour later and the tech had locked my keys in the car. Abysmal ineptitude.
