I like how quick the device was for my oil change. It took less than 30 mins. The lady at the front took care of me and was really attentive. I was interested in using their services due to the high reviews. When I called for a price estimate on a tune-up service for a compact sedan, the person who picked up the phone was quick to say, Youre going to have to come in. Im passing because that customer service was wack tbh.

It was very easy to drop off my vehicle. They were familiar with my warranty approval process and handled everything very efficiently. The staff is very friendly, answered all my questions and provided clear communication.

I do not recommend this place, apart from the fact that they are very expensive, they take care of you in a bad way, they fixed my truck, they charged me $6000 dollars and the year had not finished and I was already liquidating the antifreeze again, which is why they took them the first time and they left me with another budget of another $5600 that other things had been detected and he had to make do. Its too much to take her to another place to do a good inspection and she had nothing.

I have been taking my car for maintenance with them for 2 years and everything has been going well so far, they are very professional and the customer service is excellent.

I drove in 10 hours to view a car I wanted a pre check inspection, I was quoted 125 for 1 hour I was greeted by the sweetest older lady who I had a good feeling would look out for me. In the end they sent me all the pictures and detailed video she then proceeded to run me through all the estimated costs and how serious the repair was, in the end saving me over 5-6 thousand dollars on unseen repairs that I was not aware of. Even staying late so I could try to pick up a check.

I have been coming here for the past 10 years and never had a problem with my car needs. I recently came in for an oil change today and my previous visit was a brake service. Maria, the receptionist was professional and was greeted right away when I walk in. You get what you paid for and at the end of the day, the results come out great. I m happy a customer and love coming to Hectors Auto! Update: March 2023 they have moved across the street and have a better seating area with a big TV

Worst place ever overcharge me to get my car fixed the prices are super crazy They charge me $950 for a starter I called AutoZone and the part was only 300 so they charge me 500 for the part Please stay far away from this place. If you have a foreign car, they are going to overcharge you. Please stay far away

You have to understand how shops work. There are no 100% guarantees meaning you pay as you go on complicated issues.I can change your radiator that has a hole from a rock, but I can not guarantee it will not overheat without checking the water pump ,hoses,thermostat or even the engine ports. They did a great full check of the vehicle and sent a great response . $100 well spent. Electric is more. And world goto another spot . Hope this helps Good shop.

Maria is amazing and i loved how patient she was and the service was really quick. Got my rotors and breaks changed in 3 hours.

I like the place as it was clean, however, be careful because they told me verbally there would be 100 inspection fee that would go towards the repair....in the end they didnt apply the 100 because they had in Fine print it does not apply toward oil change pay 170 for oil change. Read the fine lines as in the they will charge 100 for inspection

I never post or do reviews but this is an exception. As a single mom with minimal knowledge of cars and stressing about car repair expense I was hesitant to bringing in my car to just any mechanic because of the bad rep they get in scamming especially women. However, I made the choice of bringing in my car here after reading all the good reviews and I m glad I did. Hector, who I believe is the owner helped me out and was very nice/friendly and made me feel comfortable, explained everything in detail and saved me from a huge problem with my car and money. I found my new trustworthy mechanic, I really recommend this place!

Went there to diagnose my 1992 dodge van they charged me 100.00 told me I needed a new engine I had another mechanic check it out and just needed a a tune up and oil change , that was about 6 months ago van is running like a champ strong . Would not recommend this shop .

The owner Hector its a rip off promeses one thing to fix everything and destroy the whole car. He charged me 3000 dollars and after l paid him and got my car out of his shop my engine blew up on the freeway

Very bad service, I have come to this place 1 hour and a half before closing time and they still leave with a bad attitude on the part of the staff that is in that place, they do not respect the customer service hours and still with the bad attitude to treat the customer as if they do not care what the customer thinks about it. The closing time on Saturdays is at 2 pm and I was in the place at 12:30 pm so do not come and waste your time at this place.

Heaven Sent Mrs Maria is such an Angel and she s very thorough. She makes sure the job gets done. I absolutely love her. I will never take my baby (2017 Silverado) Anywhere but Hectors Auto. Their timing is undefeated. My truck was fix and she was calling me to pick it up before I could even make a rsvp for an rental which was covered by my insurance. If I could give them a Million stars they would have it.

I have to say that being a woman its difficult to find people with integrity and its worse when you find your self from shop to shop and it just doesnt make sense. Before I came to Hectors I took my car to Toyota and the man said it would cost me 4,900.00 just because the service required light was on so luckily I started to Google shops by their best ratings and thanks to Hectors shop my car no longer has the service required light and it was only 75.00 BIIIIIIG DIFFERENCE. THANKS TO EVERYONE AT HECTORS

The shop was able to find the problem and repair it right away. I have a MBZ hybrid, which not to many shops were willing to even diagnose. I was impressed with the fact that Hectors shop had the right people and equipement to handle the repairs. The people there were great. It was a good experience.

Very , knowledgeable and professional ...Honest? So I thought!!!! I will never go here again. I had work done on my sensors. A few months later they were no good. Notified them they gave bs information claimed i had problems that didnt exist, after i provided 2 diagnosis. Picked up my car after they claimed to have corrected their failed repair work and another problem showed up on the diagnosis that was not there before so they voided the warranty but all of that was because they didnt do proper work the first time and they wanted to weasel their scam ways out of a legitimate claim when I provided all of the paperwork. To add insult to injury when I asked to see or pick up my original parts that they claimed were damaged I was told no and they texted me pictures unbelievable!!! scam artist. run from this place they are not honest completely dishonest and I trusted them in the beginning thats whats so disheartening to me I really thought I found a new place for my car.

Hector s auto repair is GREAT! I just recently moved to the west coast, needed a place I could tow my car and get it serviced. Vehicle was having engine throttle control issues. Came across this business - read the reviews and went for it! Best decision ever. Hector is knowledgeable, informative and professional! I live two hours away from his shop , but once you find a good mechanic you hold on to it! I will GLADY travel two hours to him for any service my vehicle needs.

I ve been taking the used car I got to Hectors Auto Shop since I purchased it last April. I needed tune ups, parts replaced, basically everything! And they knew how to fix everything! Now my car is in way better shape then it was when I first bought it. Hector s auto shop is my #1 go-to for all of my car needs and it should be yours too! They don t disappoint!

Took a Subie in for an electrical diagnostic and came back in 2 days, no more electrical issues and a code sheet of all the things that were wrong inside the car There were about 16 issues Could have been there for weeks Ill definitely come back

The technician (didn t catch his name), Maria (office) were amazing! My transmission started to jerk and I went there on a whim and am I glad I did! Took it in Monday morning and has my car back on Wednesday morning! Super fast, they worked with my dealer to get my transmission covered under warranty! I would definitely be recommending them to my friends and family! I will also come here for maintenance on my car going forward!

We brought our Jeep for AC repair and waited for someone to acknowledge us. Finally Hector the owner told us to back up let a customer out. We pulled back inn again being the ones next be service, two other cars came inn right after us but yet Hector comes out and right in our face he skipped us and goes to the customer the came in last. The was pretty shady waited for service standing in the sun with our kiddos. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Just left us while he left for a test drive with the other customer the pulled inn last. We only came here because of the good reviews Supposedly. I would give it zero stars for the bad Customer service NEVER AGAIN GOING BACK!

I usually get my work done in Chatsworth, but have recently moved to LA. I completely blew my engine in my FRS. I was nervous looking for such an expensive repair in LA, BUT LET ME TELL YOU! They handled me and my car amazingly. The receptionist was straightforward and extremely friendly. The mechanic did not mind answering all of my questions, and was extremely patient with me. They even washed and DETAILED my car and it runs amazing ! Now where do they do that at, that s priced that good? I will forever take my cars to Hectors. Can t thank them enough

Gave me one price over the phone, but when I got there the price was 30.00 more. Started working on my car as soon as I got there. They werent busy. Couldnt get gas rode home on prayer and fumes. But Im happy with the work on my car so far.

I was web surfing around for transmission rebuilt prices on a average and I was told by a lady at this shop that they don t give prices over the phone I informed her that I don t live close by so that s why I m utilizing the internet but she wasn t trynna hear it.... Guess she doesn t realize it s 2020s and things is way easier to communicate and get needed info via internet and this will effect their ratings.
