You rarely get service like this in LA : I called in panicked on my way back from my toddler’s daycare with my back glass windshield broken so bad it was marbled into a million pieces (held together by the glass tint layer!) and about to collapse. What happened - I had just slammed my trunk onto a hard object that I accidentally placed where the glass meets the trunk. And when I called Adolfo in a panic he paused all his jobs to rush back and fix it for me so I could safely go back to my child’s daycare to pick her up - the glass was holding by a thread and could have easily collapsed on her since the back seat is just below the glass. Thank god for people like this. ♡
Woke up this morning to a shattered back windshield. I was upset but had to take care of it. Did a google search of places in my neighborhood. Adolfo, the owner, picked up and told me he would get the correct glass for my car this afternoon. A few hours later, he called and I met him at his shop and he quickly installed the new replacement. He was very friendly and kind. I'm so grateful to Adolfo for the speedy service and compassionate words. I highly recommend him. Support local community that cares! Thank you Adolfo!
Just got my 2022 Hyundai Veloster N glass replaced here. The owner answered his phone promptly, gave me a fair price, and worked quickly while I waited. He really prided himself on using the right tools and being careful to pry each piece of trim out carefully. I was shocked at how much plastic needed to be popped out to get to the bolts for the window. Then he showed me that the foam seal that came with the window was low quality and that he uses a third party butyl tape at extra expense to ensure it won’t leak. I really enjoyed learning from him as he worked, and I can see how he’s earned such a high rating.
This place got my glass fixed within a few hours. Dropped it off my car and got a call when it was ready. Adolfo did an outstanding job and the price was good! I woudl definitely go back if I need to.

- glass installed when promised, at price promised - installation done quickly - new glass looks great - friendly, honest owner - much better price than Safelite - got a real person when I called Im not sure how this couldve gone any better. My windshield got smashed by a large can that flew off the truck in front of me on the freeway. Although there was shattered glass on my dashboard, no one was hurt (thankfully). First thing I did when I got home was to call my mechanic, who recommended Safelite. But there isnt one near me. Theres an extra charge for them to come out (which I was willing to pay); but I couldnt get past their automated phone system. They encourage you to go online, which I did. But I didnt hear back. So I started looking at the other places listed on Google Maps. I saw that Universal Auto Glass was near me and got great reviews. I called, and Adolfo, the owner, answered. He gave me a price quote right away, and said he could do it first thing Monday morning (it was Friday). Since I didnt have to use my car over the weekend, I was able to schedule the appointment. Later, Safelite started emailing me with discount codes. But I figured, if I couldnt talk to a real person when they were courting my business, what would they be like if there were a problem? I got to Universal Auto Glass first thing Monday morning, and there was no waiting, no bs; Adolfo started working on my car right away. It took less than 45 minutes, and I was on my way. And as great of a guy he is, I hope I never have to see Adolfo again cause getting your windshield smashed while youre driving on the freeway is no fun. And at the risk of sounding like a drama queen - if the guy driving the truck took away some of my faith in humanity, I have to say that Adolfo restored it. I would recommend this place 100%.

After our front windshield cracked and we were horrified at the cost of replacement at the dealership, we looked around for other options. The prices at Universal Auto Glass were very reasonable, and Adolfo was friendly and on top of it. The whole experience was a close to ideal as one could hope for.

Im very sorry, we cant repair it on the same day. You need to leave the car here and wait for 2-3 days. Now I really miss the maintenance service in China, which is very convenient and fast. Such a problem can be solved in half a day at most.

I started shopping around to replace my windshield when the quote I received from a large auto glass company seemed unreasonably high, not to mention, their timeline to fix my Jeep Wrangler was several weeks out. I found Universal Auto Glass and saw such great reviews. I left a message around 10PM and by 8 the next morning I received a call from Gus offering to fix my windshield that afternoon and for significantly less than the larger company. He called me with updates throughout the process, was incredibly professional, and accommodating to my schedule. I will definitely be returning!

I had to break my window because I locked my self out of my car and other shops were charging me outrageous prices but when I came across universal auto glass they charged me such an affordable deal! These guys are awesome. They came over before I left for work and hooked me up with a brand new windshield that was an OEM part (made by the same manufacturer that the car company uses) for over $100 LESS than the dealer was offering! Adolfo and Bernie were both totally professional and pleasant. If youre in NE Los Angeles and you need glass for your car, why would go anywhere else? They rock!
