Dont judge a book by its cover. These people did what they said they would do, the lady was nice and polite, and they ran the windshield repair through my insurance, and it only cost me $100 out of pocket. I will also add that it took 2 hours, and she quoted me 2 hours.

Decent place to get your glass done. I do recommend that you wait there while your car is worked on as they dont really well with calling you back. However, the pricing and the work is good.

I got my window replaced here. Its not the best looking spot. It definitely needs some cleaning up. However, the window was replaced within a hour and I was good to go.

This place does good work but the lady in her pajamas and robe charged my card $2000 for a front windshield replacement. She is Very rude and demanding when dealing with customers. She doesn t follow simple directions do to her lack of concern about nothing but retrieving your money. She is a thief she thought I wasn t going check my balance. I believe this woman is purposely misleading customers for her own personal gain. She should not be in charge of anyone money

I am extremely disappointed with this place and I will never come back here for any auto glass repair ever again. This business is in South Central Los Angeles and they are gawging people with outrageous prices. We have got to stop supporting businesses that are in our community that are taking full advantage of the people. Im going to tell everyone I know to boycott this business.

I had such a great experience here. I needed my passenger side window replaced (my fault for parking in a bad neighborhood), and I needed it fixed ASAP. American Auto replaced it in less than two hours and gave me a very fair price. I think we can all agree, with everything going on in our busy lives, the last thing we need to worry about is a broken car window. Thank you American Auto Glass for taking care of this so quickly, so efficiently and for giving me a very affordable price. The owner (Jackie I believe) was a sweetheart and clearly took pride in her business. Not only that, they vacuumed up all the broken glass in my car. It was as though my window had never even been broken. I was able to get back to my crazy, busy life and put this whole experience behind me in no time. I ll be sure to use them again if I ever need to fix or replace my car windows.

I went to get a mirror for my car. The lady was over talking me. I told her I wanted a new one. She said it would be $ 200.00. I told her I could get a new one for that price and get it printed for $200.00 . So she said she could patch it for $65.00. I think she was hungry for money because of the pandemic. She was very rude.

The first window cracked. I went back and got another and they didnt glue the mirror back correctly and the window broke again. I use Allen a Mobil repair guy who is professional and wayyyy cheaper.

This is a Great business and there service was much appreciated, I woke up and went to my car to see that someone hit my driver door mirror clear off . But a friend referred me to American glass auto on Florence ave and the Lady Jackie was very helpful. Replaced my driver door mirror for 65$ .. The process was fast and the workers were nice . I highly recommend if you have any auto glass issues, this is the best place and at a good price . Thank you ms Jackie

The worst experience I ever had . This lady is ripping people off taking advantage of the Covid-19. She gave me and estimate before doing the work and I agreed to her price, she ordered the window and called me to bring the vehicle to her shop. I gave her my credit card number and she ended up taking over $1000 dollars out of my card . I called her the next day and she played like she didnt know anything about. Im bringing the better business bureau and my attorney involved into this. I will report her. Definitely I dont recommend this place. The service was bad and the lady is a thief.

I have been here for over 2 hours now technican has gone to lunch with nothing being done to replace windshield and was told when he comes back I still have to wait 2 more hours. Also someone came after me and has since departed totally unacceptable. Will not ever come back and will inform others not to bring their business here.

This lady comes out in her pajamas, asks me to wait while shes with another customer, after 30 min pass, she tells me its $45 just to check the window then will give me the repair price! (My driver window would not shut all the way, 1 gap, roll up on a classic vehicle). You couldnt have just told me that when I first walked in?? Extremely unprofessional business/home shop.

Best price in town, the waiting room needs a touch up but I wasnt there for the waiting room I was there to fix my window and man did they, for the price I got the window fixed I feel like I owe American Auto Glass.

You have to watch the owner she will overcharge you. She charges extra for used supplies...

The woman who operates the establishment quoted me $175 plus tax. She said that she would just charge me a flat $200. I went back to my truck to wait my turn to be serviced. Did the math and calculated the cost based on sales tax rate. She actually OVERCHARGED me. Then she asked me to ride with her to go pick up the windshield from her warehouse down the street. Theres more to my experience, but Ill stop right there. Poor customer service skills. Would not recommend this place at all.

Had to get the front windshield on a 2018 Ford Transit replace. Call tons of places to get quoted ridiculous prices. American Auto Glass really worked with me to give me a fair price which beat all other quotes I got. Make sure to come in and take yo them in person they can help you more that way

STAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. This place does horrible shoddy temporary work. Had my front windshield replaced. After wards. My rearview mirror fell off. Then the siding around my windshield blew off on the freeway. Called and complained was told to bring car back on 3 separate occasions. Owner NEVER THERE. I called my credit card company and disputed all initial charges got my money back.

Somebody shattered side window and I went here on recommendation of mechanic friend... Their phone service was spotty and I had a hard time communicating with them, BUT DECIDED TO GO FOR IT. They were very nice in person. New window had a tint to match other windows, which did not cost me extra. I hope the tint holds up, but currently they deserve 5 stars! I was also in and out in under 30 minutes... I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace side windows.

Could you imagine my face. Lucky me, I live around the block from American Auto Glass. Not only where they able to help me right away; they replaced the window the same day. Also placing a tape around the border for three days to stabilize the window. Excellent service.

What a great service i received! Another company charged me $300 to fixed my window. when i call american auto Glass she gave me options and save me $200. Came in thinking this is a joke right? But no it wasnt i got my truck repair in 30 minutes. I would diffidently come again and recommencement all my friends to them.

On 12/9/13 I took my car to them to have the bottom seal replace on my 93 BMW windshield due to water would get in my car when I went to a car wash. On Tuesday 01/14/13 I took my car back to them because the seal had pop open, Jackie who works in the office it was due to the heat and me using my window defroster. So they put clue under the seal again and on Saturday 1/18/14 I took my car to a hand car wash (due to getting my seal re-glued) and I still got water in my car. Sunday 1/19/14 when I went to my car my windshield had a cloudy haze over it and when I looked at the windshield seal, there was glue bubbling from the seal. On 1/20/13 @ 3pm I went back to them spoke with Jackie again told me that there were 3 cars ahead of me and if I didnt mind waiting. I waited for 2 1/2 hrs when the technician came to say that he was not informed about working on my car by then it was 5:15 and he had one more car to work on. I went back in the office to speak with Jackie again just for her to say he will still work on my car, she went to speak with him and I could tell he was furious because now it is 5:30 and they close at 6pm. By then I was furious I do not live in this area due to my work hours it would be impossible. I asked for my money back and she said in order for her to give me my money back they would have to take off the seal they put on. (Please read your receipt because it is in there policy but the law states that they have to return your vehicle back in the condition you brought it in meaning they have to put my old seal back on my car after they remove theres) Jackie inform me that someone could come to my job on Wed 1/21/14 to fix my seal again. (This will be the third time) Well when I call on 1/21/14 Jackie said that she had two workers in the hospital today and could they come on Wed, then further into the conversation she asked if they could come out on Friday. By now I am more furious with her, the business and how they misrepresent themselves. I do not want to ever do business with them again. They do poor work, use poor material and all around bad customer service. Dont ever come here again they may be cheap but you end up getting what you paid for. I had to take my car to the BMW dealer just to get it fixed properly.

Called them on a Sunday and was surprised to get an answer. Not only were they open but they got my door window replaced in about 45min to an hour. Total cost was $155. Not bad for quick quality work.
