4th Street Auto & Tire in Long Beach

A friend recommended this shop and I'm so glad they did! The pricing for labor/parts is really fair and they do great work! Great communication before, during, and after the work on my car too.

Efficient and Trustworthy. Needed some brake repairs and went to 4th street auto. They had my car back to me that afternoon. Didn’t try to upsell which is always appreciated. Jake was very friendly and easy to talk to about concerns.

Great timely service, good price, and friendly staff. I went in to get 4 new tires, an alignment and oil change. Was all done within a few hours. I’d recommend this place and will be returning for future service

This is my second time coming to 4th Street Auto & Tire and let me tell you their services are phenomenal! Jacob explained to me about the issues my car was having which needed break pads changed and my rotors changed. He was direct with the cost (which was less than another place I went too) and showed me the issue myself so I can understand better. Secondly for the ride services. They had one of the mechanics drive you home in your car, and then pick you up. Everyone was respectful and professional.

I wanted to give it a few days to break my new breaks in before I left my review. Jacob, you did an absolutely phenomenal job and you have yourself a new loyal customer. When I say it has been extremely difficult to find an honest and efficient mechanic in Long Beach, absolute nightmare. Jacob and his team provided excellent customer service from start to finish and were able to have my car back to me quickly. Highly recommend.

Who stops in the middle of delivering pizzas to his employees to attend to a customer? The manager at 4th Street Auto Care does. I've been taking my care to 4th Street Auto Care for years. Great service, reasonable prices, they drop me off at the office when I have to leave the car there for the day. Art and Jacob at the service desk are the best. Five Stars!

I dropped my Lexus 450h off at 4th street Auto care to get my oil changed today. The quote was reasonable, $85. I was called when the vehicle was ready, and they recommended an air filter change and a cabin filter change. Mind you, the car only has 15k miles on it. I agreed, and the clerk said he would call me back with a quote. After waiting a few hours, I hadn’t head back, so I called and they said they were just waiting on the filter to come in. Once the car was finally ready, I walked to pick it up. To my surprise, my new total was $207. I was notified that Arturo charged me $74.05 to install the cabin filter, plus $22.83 for the filter. Changing the cabin filter cost more than the oil change itself. To change the cabin filter it takes less than 5 minutes and is easily accessible through the glove compartment. They are charging excessively for this service. Had I known, I would have done it myself. Upon reviewing the itemized receipt after getting home, I also realized Arturo charged me for 6 quarts of oil but only put in 5 quarts. This place should be looked into for their shady charging policies, I’m sure I’m not the only person something like this has happened to. Be cautious.
