I am writing to address a frustrating experience I had at your store on March 14, 2025, involving Johnathan (cashier), Maribel (store manager), and Javier (district manager). During my visit, I purchased a starter for my Civic and informed Johnathan that I intended to use two cards for payment. He assured me this would not be an issue. My first card was charged $419 successfully, but when I attempted to use my second card, the payment device displayed an error stating, "Please present one card only." Johnathan, appearing unsure, involved Maribel, the store manager. Despite me showing her a bank statement confirming that $419 had been debited from my account, she insisted that the payment had not gone through on their system. Maribel claimed that I needed to pay an additional $419, even though the funds had already been withdrawn from my account. She seemed to believe I was attempting to pay $100 for a $419 part, which was clearly illogical given the evidence I provided. Maribel refused to process the remaining balance with the same card and instead insisted that the first payment was "floating" and that my bank would refund the money. Her actions were unprofessional and dismissive, and she was unwilling to release the product I had already paid for. After demanding to speak with Javier, the district manager, I explained the situation and, after considerable discussion, he allowed me to pay the remaining balance. However, during checkout, Maribel made inappropriate remarks about her disagreement with Javier’s decision, which I found disrespectful. To make matters worse, due to apparent errors in processing the balance and taxes, I ended up overpaying by approximately $40. Furthermore, I have yet to receive the refund for the original $419, (Maribel claimed I would be getting.. she was wrong). This situation highlights significant gaps in training and customer service among the staff involved. I hope you will review this matter and address the unprofessional behavior demonstrated by both Johnathan and Maribel.
I was having trouble getting my car to start. The very helpful clerk at the counter named Benjamin came out to my car and tested the battery. Not only did he help and educate me about the battery problem, he took time to install the battery and he made sure that it was bolted down securely! Thank you so very much for your help and kindness Benjamin!!! I’ll always come to this Auto Zone!!!
I purchased a remanufactured starter for my car and it performs like brand new! Ordered online, had it shipped to me and only went to the store to return my core! (Saved 20% ordering online and the part was delivered to my door) thanks autozone great deal and fast service.
The staff there always answer all my questions, and not once have I gotten an " I don't know ". They actually spend time with you and ask questions so they can fully understand your project and can tell you what products to use.
I had a great experience getting a battery and replacing it with the customer service reps at this store location. They assisted me in getting discounts that I qualified for and getting things to ensure corrosion was minimized for the battery. I really appreciated the thorough explanation and service provided by Danny, the customer service rep who replaced my battery. I will definitely be returning to this location for my car’s needs when I am in the Long Beach area.
My car engine service pop up on my dash board. It was due for an oil change. I was clueless about what type of engine oil my car take and the oil filter size. I was greeted by Miss Cida when I walked in the door and again at the register where she assist me with the type of oil my car take. I initially went in for JUST the engine oil and the oil filter. Miss Cida mention that with just a couple more dollars I can get an air filter or cabin filter with that bundle. It's been a very long time since I had my air filter replace and I am glad she told me about that amazing deal. Total I spent under $38.00 for 5 quarts of oil an oil filter and air filter. Thank you very much I left a happy customer
