AKA Import Automotive. Still the same great service as always. Now even better as there are more service technicians available to work on your vehicle. Highly recommended. Had AC serviced and as usual they did a great job and included the recommended next items to be serviced. Had some normal maintenance on my van, water pump, belt pulleys, gaskets, coolant, etc. And was done on time and came in under the estimate. Just the place to go for all your automotive maintenance and repair. 2 thumbs up. They did the tensioner pulley this time and went above and beyond to save me money, 2 thumbs up. New old car this time, 07 Lexus RX400H. Had check engine light on, was something to do with emissions. They put new hoses (customer supplied) on and also adjusted my parking brake. When I picked it up a number of warning lights were on and Kim and Carl were right on the problem ( simple to fix). Again 2 thumbs up. Been doing business with them since 08, always satisfied with their work.

After getting a bid from the BMW dealer for 10K for a fix, S&S did some homework and managed to get it done for less than a third of what the BMW dealership offered. After 5yrs of my extended service ended on my Q5 I returned to S&S to have these guys go through the 20k service they show everything they changed-out. Had a great experience servicing my Mercedes Benz at S&S Inland Star. Had an engine that going to a dealer would have cost me well over $10,000 to repair. Went to S&S Inland Star to get a 2nd opinion and they were very open and transparent in discussing the issue with me. They even recommended NOT getting the repair through them, at least until I spoke with MBUSA as it is a common engine issue/defect that MBUSA has been known to offer goodwill even after the factory warranty has expired. Although MBUSA did not extend a good will repair, I appreciate that they tried to do what would be in my best interest even if it meant not getting their shop paid. I eventually had the repair done through their shop and my car is now up in running. It was a quick turn around for anore complicated repair and they let me know exactly what they were doing, even made a few recommendations for preventative maintenance that could be done while they had the engine opened up. All in all, S&S Inland Star has proven to be a trust worthy shop to get my Mercedes Benz serviced. Glad I put my trust in this shop and my wallet is much happier for it.

Was planned to get an alignment and it didn t need one. It was the steering wheel which was adjusted. Plus a screen on my large battery. All was done for a price much less than estimated. Honest establishment.

I took my BMW in for braLes and I was called by Samantha she explained that my brakes did not have to be changed but it could be a mechanical issue with the sensor so they would check it out and she asked if I would like my oil changed since the car was already there and it needed to be done soon. They got right on top of it and the last call i got from her was telling me my car was ready and they fixed the problem with my brake light They are very professional and did an excellent job getting my car back to me. Thank you so much for making my first experience so easy. Great experience.

Charged me 70$ couldn t diagnose the issue so sent my car home next day and check engine light is now on. Figured it was pointless to bring it back since they don t know what to do with it. I usually don t leave bad reviews but this one was worth the time, especially considering their ignorant response. Been to tons of Mercedes authorized repair shops and this would not be one I trust with my business :)

Outstanding

I had a new alternator installed, re-freshed the front rotors and pads, and a new head gasket installed. The service was excellent, communication as the work was proceeding was very helpful and when I picked up the car it ran like a top and the brakes were the best brake job I have had. I Highly recommend this very clean and professional shop to anyone with a Mercedes or BMW!

We brought our Volvo to S&S to get a second option on repairs that a Volvo dealer indicated needed to be done. S&S was kind enough to inspect our car in light of these repair suggestions by the dealer. Their communications was great on what they found and I felt I could trust them and their recommendations.

Oil change

I have had my car worked on here three times, I had an engine replaced in my Mercedes, I had the starter replaced in my Mercedes and most recently had my power steering pump replaced. Scott is AMAZING, he and his mechanics do an AMAZING job, incredibly satisfied with the work and the fact that I paid less than half of what I was quoted at the Mercedes dealer. 10/10 would recommend if you drive an import. Will 100% use them again.

This was my first time at S &S. Scott and his team are wonderful. I usually have to call to check on my car at other European shops but not here. Scott is on top of it and probably more busy than they other shops too. He also took some time to chat with me about the car which I appreciate. He was kind not only to but to his other customers as I observed his interactions. I will be taking my BMWs to Scott from now on.

I had driven down from Oregon and my Subaru developed serious problems when I got to Colton. I was an emergency walk-in at S&S, and able to leave it overnight. They fixed the car, clearly explained the problem, and were great at keeping me informed with the cars repair. I had to turn around and drive back to Oregon, and the car ran great. If they were here in my town, Id take my car there for all service needs.

Had my low daylight replaced was fast they were very professional I also had my A service dont great job, had an oil leak they changed all four senses and the valve where the oil was leaking through going to the sensor down to court on time before oil went into the engine they change all senses clean the wires and blow out all the buildup from the oil my car is running perfectly its such an awesome job thanks Scott, Samantha the secretary shes so knowledgeable also about cars especially Mercedes thank you Samantha for all that youve done for me.

Cool biz this is. My 05 330Ci ZHP ragtop had a bad taillight but still functioning. The part was $600 so they suggested I live with a fast blinking turn signal for now and charged me $0.00 for the service! Very cool of them. Will be back for more serious work. Many thanks m Kris

Dropped car off at 8am yesterday just for them to not tell me my car will be staying over night just for them to tell me that there is a oil leak that I knew about then they said they couldn t see where it was coming from after 27 hours I guess there good ? If I could I would not have any stars.

My most recent visit was today where I had my oil changed. Since I was going to have to wait to get the work done, Scott gave me a ride home since he was coming to my neighborhood to pick up another customer and take them to the bank which shows you how willing they are to work with you when you need help. I can always trust them to do a good job. Also my car was ready well before he promised it would be. On a previous visit, Sam was very cordial and helpful. He also gave me a ride home when I couldn t contact my ride & has waited after hours for me to pick up my car. He has always been fair and fixed all issues I ve had with my BMW even when others couldn t or didn t. I would highly recommend this shop for anyone with BMW, Mercedes or any other cars they work on.

I called, they got me in within 2 days, I was under the impression that I needed all four break pads replaced (from another auto repair company) they informed me I still had 50% left on my front break pads, so they only replaced the rear. I suspected that my car had an oil leak so contacted these guys for the first time. Initially things went great in that I got an appointment very quickly for the next morning (Wednesday 7/21) with Duane. Communications via email and texts were great, Duane was early for the appointment and quickly diagnosed that a gasket and a hose needed replacing. The fix was fairly expensive so Duane said that the quote would be on their website and to think about it and book it if we decided to go ahead. That afternoon we decided to proceed with the fix and went on the website to book the appointment. Well, there were 3 quotes listed for the work. 2 For the same amount but showing different repairs and 1 substantially higher which showed some repairs the same and some different. Coolant and break fluid were listed in the quotes which seemed strange for an oil leak repair so I called them. I dealt with a nice guy who said that he would contact Duane for clarification and call me back. NADA. Called them again on Monday, 2 days later, again spoke with a nice lady who explained that break fluid was needed to fix an oil leak - DUH ! She too said that she would contact Duane for clarification and that either she or Duane would call me back to explain why there were 3 different quotes covering different fixes for the same oil leak repair. One week later I am still waiting for that telephone call so, sorry for the poor review but I feel it is deserved because you completely dropped the ball and didnt follow through as you said you would. Now Im looking for a reliable mobile mechanic to carry out this repair and maintain all of our 4 vehicles in the future. Know any??

Came for a diagnosis on my 2009 ML 350 and they were really nice, explained everything very thoroughly, it did take a while BUT they are very busy so I m not complaining, the service is great. Prices are affordable, they are honest people and I will definitely be back! I highly recommend this shop.

I took a friend there to pick up their car. They specialize in Mercedes and BMW repairs. The prices seemed reasonable from the invoice I saw. Especially for a Mercedes they appear to be up front with everything because they communicated with my friend regarding what he needed done. Ive never dealt with them personally but my friend seems very happy with their service.

I would not consider taking my cars anywhere else but to Sam and Scott. Hands down the best mechanics I ve had. They are professional, friendly, timely, and very fair on the cost. They go out of their way to provide me the best options for the money on repairs. The thing I appreciate the most about S&S is their integrity, I ve recently had some work done on our X5 and told them if the air filters need replacing then to go ahead and change them. Instead of making a quick buck they called to let me know they were still good until the next service. Just one of many examples, these guys are the best!
