Tech Transmissions in Livermore

Bob has rebuilt 3 transmission for our family. Two super Duty 7.3 trannys and one 07 Accord. I trust Bob and his knowledge of transmissions.

Took my car to another place in Livermore, after they were unable to fix my transmission and almost $200 later they said I needed a new one. Went to Tech Trans explained my problem to the owner and he fixed it. My car had a broken ground wire to the transmission sensor and it was fixed. This shop is great. Take your car here first and you wont be sorry.

Best transmission shop in the area, hands down. Bob was very helpful in getting my 2002 Isuzu Rodeo back on the road again. They do great work at a more than fair price. Recommended to anyone in the Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin area. 👍👍

Needed an automatic transmission rebuild on my 29 year old special interest vehicle. One of the challenges was to find a kit for this particular trans. This trans was only for a Yamaha V6 front wheel drive Taurus. Bob found one and also another obscure part that was needed. He called most every day to give me a status report. Very knowledgeable, courteous and just generally a pleasant fellow. I highly recommend.

Bob was so helpful and quick. I dropped off my car at 8:30 am, he ran the diagnostic.. and was super honest with me about what needed to be done. The car was done and ready by 11:30. If I ever need a transmission specialist again, I would without a doubt go back to this place.

They resolved the leaking issue on my 1965 C4 transmission. The job was complete in one day at a reasonable price. Great to find a shop that still works on the classics. I'd use Tech Transmissions again for any of my cars.

Dealership told me I needed a 5,000$ trany swap, called Bob at tech transmissions ...had it towed over there free of charge and turns out my transmission was fine. Cleaned up a few things for me and saved me 4,500$ . Couldn’t be more grateful and had such a good experience...highly recommend these guys
