El Mecánico Truck & Auto Service has been my go-to for all my vehicle needs. The team here is incredibly honest, and their prices are fair. What sets them apart is their commitment to quality - every service comes with a solid warranty. I trust them implicitly with all my cars, and they've never let me down. Highly recommend!

Frelic and his team fixed my F350 6.0 diesel, stranded on the highway. I towed over to them after trying shops local to Martinez. I don't care where you are in the Bay, CALL THESE GUYS, it's worth it. They are the best mechanics, extremely knowledgeable and totally honest on cost. I called 10 shops, went to 3 other shops and two mobile mechanics. Each had their own version of "truth" that would have ended up costing me double. My work is critical and my truck is needed, these guys didn't hesitate. Knew exactly the problem, executed the repair perfectly, and they communicated all the way. Frelic even waited late for me to pickup my truck. (Thank you) Don't take your vehicle anywhere else, this is the ONLY place I will let work on my vehicle. Honestly CALL ONLY THEM!!

I am not one to usually do reviews of businesses, but this one is worth doing it for. I've come here for several different repairs this past year (I have a 19 year old car) and am pleasantly surprised every time I have come here. They give a multi point inspection and text you the full range of problems you may have in degrees of severity. They have worked with me to find cost effective repairs for my car so that I am not completely broke by the end. Overall, my car is still running and I trust El Mecanico with my car. I only wish they were located closer to my house, but I am willing to make the journey over the altamont for them!

I had 2 friends highly reccomend this shop for the services and repairs on their vehicles, so I brought my vehicle in. The service center is clean, and the staff is friendly and professional. My vehicle is older and has unusual quarks, but the technicians were diligent and able to pinpoint, and communicate to me the exact problem without added repairs/costs. They were thorough and took their time on my vehicle without rushing through it, while also accommodating my busy schedule. I believe they were honest and fair in assisting me in getting my vehicle back on the road again. I reccomend this shop.

Highly trained techs and super friendly staff. Frelic, the owner, is amazing! Finally a true and honest mechanic. I took both my Mini Cooper, Acura MDX and Toyota Camry for service here. Highly recommended.

Freddy and Joel have been great. I brought them a problematic diesel truck that myself and another local mechanic couldn't diagnose. Freddy had it back on the road in no time and at a really fair price. Highly recommend this shop!

I am so happy I found a mechanic I can trust! I know it's horrible, but I am terrible at keeping my car maintained mostly because I do not trust many mechanic shops. I do not know enough about cars, and am always worried they are going to upcharge, or talk me into service that I do not need. No more worries! Frelic and Joel at El Mecanico are very honest, do great work, and will never sell you something that you don't need. Give them a shot, and you will not be disappointed.
