Trent at TrailersPlus in Live Oak was a pleasure to work with. He was on time for our scheduled appointment and took his time to thoroughly explain the ins and outs of the trailer we reserved to see. Victor was able to step in and quickly assisted with adding the accessories we selected. I highly recommend working with Trent in Live Oak! Definitely worth the drive!

We bought a 6x12 10,000lb GVWR dump trailer. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Extremely good customer service. Super easy buying process, and they go over everything with you. I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes! Highly recommended.

I drove quite a ways out of my way to visit Trailers Plus Live Oak, CA. Their price on the 6x12 dump trailer I wanted was attractive, and speaking with Matt on the phone was enough for me to make the drive. Matt was very communicative and easily and proactively answered all of my questions and concerns. When I got there and looked the trailer over, Matt was right there answering every question I had until I was satisfied. He got the paperwork done very efficiently. Three days later when I had a couple of new questions, Matt and Trenton both were very helpful. I haven’t had a chance yet to put the trailer to work, but I don’t expect any problems. I will update this review if there are any surprises or concerns at all. Thank you Matt, Trent, and Trailers Plus! Update 3/25/25. I am still pleased with my trailer, but there have been a few disappointments since purchase: 1) Peeling paint in some areas, indicating inadequate prep before painting, I am repainting small areas myself. 2) Although there was copious amounts of grease left surrounding most zerk (grease) fittings, many of the joints had no grease in them because the zerk fittings had been painted over and had not accepted any grease. I removed the paint and greased the joints. 3) One of the scissor lift joints was missing it’s zerk fitting entirely, and had not been greased. Another zerk fitting on the scissor lift could not be accessed because it was blocked by the trailer frame, and had not been greased. I added a zerk where one was missing, and changed out the blocked one to a 90 degree zerk and greased both. 4) The license plate light was located in a way that it did not light up the license plate. I relocated the light. 5) The wiring for the lighting was not protected from sharp edges in the way it was installed, and electrical joints were not adequately protected from water intrusion. I have rectified these issues. 6) The hydraulic reservoir level was low at purchase and had to be immediately topped off. None of these issues are huge, and have been fairly easy to rectify myself, but are worth pointing out.

There was a crew of three who assisted me thru the process of buying an enclosed trailer today. My appt. was with Matt who led the charge, helping to make many good decisions I needed help with 4sure. Thanks Matt and no less thanks to the others cuz I cant remember their names, sorry guys. Unfortunately, I've picked up a wicked case of grief brain, which if you take away the overdosing of sadness and other contrived madness, it is much like CRS 24/7, I am told. In short, the TrailerPlus team, in Live Oak, CA, who do not know me and my heightened sense of critical BS, could have easily added to the display of misinformation and not expected, but commonly delivered, poor customer service that continues to invade our community. My friends say it is the democrats and their self serving blindness to reality that is the cause of this invasion of poor business practices in our communities. I say, now lets not bring politics into it, even though I just did. LoL Yes, the LiveOak TrailerPlus Team could have sussed me up shallow and tired, fired up some short cuts, taken me down that good ol' satisfactory rd. and gotten away with it. After all, I was the last appt, 10 mins late, and it had been a busy day. As the last on a long before me, I would have understood, this team had put in a good day, sales can be exhausting, time to enter and join what's left of the weekend. However, that was not the case, I believe I received every bit of attention and much needed problem solving in finding the best trailer for my needs. Specifications and limits required by my vehicle were matched with the right equipment and security accessories suggested and provided did not leave me wanting. Matt was super efficient and quick on the computer, explaining the steps we were taking and making all the paperwork seem effortless. I was not pushed into any upsell or buying things I did not need, nor was I left wondering about or wanting something that may have been missed. Having just lost my closest and best friend, for the last 25 yrs, Julie Harvey, to health complications and a sudden death exoerienceat Enloe, there was a lot more involved today than just buying a trailer. This trailer is for a move to Florida that in the planning, had consumed many of our last days together. I had so hoped we would be making this move together. We had discussed and argued many ideas, and while visiting my mother, just last January, the idea of moving closer to her was introduced. My mother was so overjoyed with that option, SE Florida became the focus. Julie left us on August 3rd, 2024, and there has been so much to do for her, this move has lost its luster. Now, I will be making this trip alone and with one very cool cat named Tucker, so not completely alone. THERE IS A POINT... The significance of all this grief and loss stuff is that i know for a fact, Julie would have been so enthusiastic, supportive, and excited about this specific trailer and the ease of getting into it today, my flattened outlook and energy for the move and has been significantly uplifted. And honestly, the experience today at TrailerPlus, with Matt and crew, has been one of the best professional experiences I have had in years. My apologies for all the extras in this review. I hope its significance was made clear and relevant. Besides, you have to be a fool to read this and not give TrailerPlus your attention, and no way to argue with me, Julie's significance in all things good. As well, in this season of lasts, this is the last professional review I will write in this area, so take it or leave it. I will be gone in a week. Thank you very much! Chuck Averill
