Went for simple oil change Friday. Today is. Sunday sitting on side of highway. With no oil because they did not. Tighten cap. Also. Employees were. Using racial. Slurs. Very un professional. Workers try to get you to pay for things you don't even need

I use Take 5 Oil Change regularly every 5000 miles. (In Live Oak FL. )They always treated me courteously and professionally through the entire oil change. I like the way they double-check things to make sure everything is correct before you leave. They are extremely friendly and very professional! They’ll even bring you a bottle of cold water while you’re waiting. No pressure upsales. I did need an engine and cab air filter and went ahead and had them install them. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place!

After not going for a long time (couple yrs) because of previous manager. I decided to take a chance with my Jeep in hopes he was no longer there this time & very happy I did. I am “EXTREMELY“ HIGHLY IMPRESSED!!!! with this manager & his attitude, not only him but the other 2 gentleman I enter acted with as well. The staff at 5 Minute Oil Change in Live Oak always provide excellent customer service. I have a fleet vehicle and the fleet company was very slow in approving the oil change. They were patience and delightful. I highly recommend them.

Update I talked to corporate and they said I was correct and the people working there were wrong no does mean no. I had my son do my oil change after this. He found that they put the wrong oil filter on and had it over torqued. Help me boycott the Take 5 in Live Oak Fl. When you ask them not to touch your air filter they insist. I tried to get the manager information so I could file a complaint and they refused. They said they were calling the cops on me. So I said go ahead I'll pull off and wait. I actually talked to the manager who was there and he wouldn't give me his name. I freely gave my name and waited for the police. The police did tell me his name was Darryl. No means no. You lost a long time customer from both Texas and then here in Live Oak Fl. I never had this problem until this past year. Thank you too the Live Oak police department for helping me today.

Not only was the oil change overly priced at $85 with a discount, but the technician left a dirty rag under my hood and when I was driving down the road and it started to smoke. I didn’t know what was going on. I had to pull over and remove it before it made my engine catch on fire. Mistakes happen this I know so I didn’t say anything about it to them. Not my fb they could do anyway so I just let it be. Fast-forward to a few days ago, I noticed my engine was leaking some type of dark fluid. Since I had just had an oil change done, I went back to have them look at the leak. (have they not left a rag under my hood, I would’ve taken the vehicle to my mechanic however, I felt they should have the opportunity to fix their mistake if they made one. If you made a simple mistake, It’s possible you made more than one). When I arrived at the shop, I was told I must wait my turn because it’s first come first serve. I said to the technician, named Doug, I am not here for an oil change, I already had one done. I just need you guys to tell me if you put everything back together correctly. He again told me that he could not help me and everyone else was busy. So I waited 55 minutes after asking two more times for assistance. I asked again if they were going to help me and Finally, he yelled at me and told me that if I didn’t like it, I could get out of his office. I asked him for his corporate number and he told me he didn’t have to give me anything. Again for clarification, I said you’re not going to help me and he said you either wait or you can leave. Then he threatened to call the police so I did favor and call the police for him. He had the audacity to look surprised when the city PD arrived. The officer spoke to him, and miraculously Doug checked out my vehicle. It shouldn’t have taken all that. Customer service Is something that shouldn’t be negotiable. He spoke down to me, yelled at me, and didn’t give me any respect and then threatened to call the police on me because all I wanted him to do was his job. Obviously, I won’t be returning to this establishment.
