This place is awesome- the people, the availability, the option to come in without an appointment....all awesome. We were down on our luck and it was almost Easter and we didn't have enough money for the very reasonably priced tire. This place was gift from God. They worked with us and gained loyal customers for life.

Where to start a place where hard work happens with a courteous smile. I've bought tires here and recently the did a front end alignment.awdome job again .this place never disappoints. Theve done work on all my vehicles.

We got new tires on the car this am after getting a flat on Saturday. Carlton Cooper tires in Lakeport is the only place we will ever go. Gary is always so helpful and honest. He rushed to get tires after talking with him yesterday but when we got there and they went to put them on the car, they had the wrong size. He got us the correct size, in a higher end tire with very little price difference. It took a bit longer than expected as he was short a couple guys and had several customers waiting but time went by quickly as we chatted with people in the waiting area and visited with a couple friends who came in. At the counter, they have a can that looked like maybe it was for tips, but it said "God Box" on top. I asked about it. I was told it's to help people who can't afford tires and really need them. The girl told me the money paid for a set of tire for a single mom with bald and cord showing tires on her old suburban. It was unsafe to drive her kids around in it. It's helped others in need as well. Gary is always willing to help out when needed. I had to add to the can as I have been without funds for tires until just recently so I know how it is to need what you can’t afford. I hope if you read this, and you can, drop a little something in the "God Box" at Carlton Cooper Tires in Lakeport. It's so nice to have an honest, helpful, reliable business like this in Lake County.

I’ve been coming to Carlton Cooper Tires in Lakeport since I moved here n 2016 and I have never been disappointed by their customer service, quality of work and craftsmanship and Gary has always personally greeted me and taken care of me! I’ve also purchased tires through them and I have always gotten what I requested and also relied on their recommendations and suggestions. I’ve purchased 33” BF Gooodrich KO2s for my trucks and always purchased 37”s and 35”s Nitto Trail Grapplers for my Jeep Wranglers. They’ve never failed me!!!

Wonderful as always. But if you don't have an appointment, your gonna wait. They try their best to get to people. Everyone likes going to them because they do good work.

Been coming here for new, used, repair tires for years! Gary is the kindest, most helpful dude EVER! He's helped me beyond the norm! The staff is always super friendly and always working hard, especially "little dude" and Jen! I highly recommend this place for new, used and repairs! Thanks team ✌🏼

You need to understand that Lake County could not survive without Carlton Cooper Tires. Forget the big corporations (they don’t operate anywhere in Lake County anyway) — this is a locally owned and locally run business that employs a slew of local residents and keeps us all safer on the road. Even when there are cars overflowing the front yard, side yard, and back -40, no appointment walk-ins will be attended to promptly and given a decent price for parts and labor. (And yes, you can ask for used tires if that is all you can afford.) This hardworking, often jam-packed shop supplies everyone we know with brakes and ires: seniors, working guys, pregnant moms, and families trailing pajama-clad kids.

I dropped by this shop on Saturday morning and expected it to busy, but I was the the only person there at 8am, so I was excited. I asked the gentlemen if they could install wheels spacers that had just arrived by FedEx. After consulting with the manager it was approved. The gentlemen who worked on my truck was speedy and efficient. You could tell it wasn't his first rodeo. I got quoted a price, but when I paid it was actually less! 😳I know who has earned my business now. Thank you Carlton Cooper Tires.
