Highly recommended!!! I used this company this week for a crack in my windshield . Very professional, nice guy ! Great prices! And they called me right back ! I will use again , but hope not to ! LOL . They will even meet you in town in his ready to use van ! High 5!
Tim returned my call right away and he quoted me an excellent price. Said he could come to our house to do it in three days. Showed up early am ready to work and finished putting in a new windshield very quickly. An excellent job by Tim @ an excellent price. Highly recommend this small business 👍
I hate to give a bad review because Tim is so nice and I think this may be more of a supplier/equipment issue. I have purchased 2 windshields from Tim and neither lasted more than a few weeks before breaking again. In the second replacement the crack started under the rubber from the inside of the car, left edge corner of the window behind the hood 2 weeks after instillation. Protected from rocks by the hood, it seems unlikly to be impact relateded. It started at night when parked in my yard away from the street and trees. I checked my dash cam, nothing hit it, started on its own untouched. I contacted Tim both times, and he said he has no warranty and gives no discounts, because rebreaking is "very common" and "happens all the time". The first time I thought bad luck, but the second time, I was concerned. After asking around to girl dads and car guys, no one I knew ever had this heard of this. So I took it somewhere else. I causually asked the manager at the other shop that did my 3rd replacement, he told me in 30 years he's seen a new replacement windshield crack very rarely. He gave a speech/science lesson about the design, material durability, density, impact resistance and why windshields typically last 20+ years in many vehicles. At his high volume location in down town palm springs, he only seen a new window come back within a month once that he remembered, and there was an unusual impact. He told me that twice in a year was another type of issue, he thought with the glue. Wish I could have recorded his very convincing Ted talk to post. Just leave town and save yourself the money and hassle. Update: the windshield from the other place has now lasted 2-3 years. So I do believe he has a supplier issue or adhesive issue that other places don't have. Drive out of town to get it fixed.
Tim is always on time, ready to do the job and friendly, quick and knowledgeable. But the best part, he is local in the Kern River Valley.
Tim was on time efficient. He did forget the sprayer but there probably was a reason. I used to be in the auto body business and his rates are competitive
He was great. He was very polite, efficient and didn't take long to put in the new window.he ordered it the day I called and he put it in the next day.
He's the man when it comes to putting in windshields and a cool guy
