PLEASE READ. SAVE MONEY. New fuel injectors, installed: RPM Auto Center: $2800 3 other local auto shops quoted me: $1200 Check out my estimate, I uploaded a photo. They charged me $166.00 for diagnostic analysis with testing equipment. They basically just checked for any check engine codes and visually checked my spark plugs. No idea how, but this took over an hour. After the analysis they quoted me $2856 parts and labor, for repairs. I declined and decided to shop around and get opinions from other local mechanics. I visited 3 other shops, they all quoted me less than half, around $1200 with one year warranty. The other auto shops also didnt charge me for a proper diagnostic analysis. They couldnt believe the pricing I received from RPM Auto Center. I also asked the service representative at RPM Auto Center, how many hours of labor is charged for this job? He answered that its at least a 7 hour job. The other local auto shops that I visited all confirmed that it is in fact, at most, a 2 hour job. Apparently swindling customers and misinformation is how they do business at RPM Auto Center. Hopefully you read this review and take your business elsewhere. Using the yelp projects feature I was able to request a quote and find other reputable mechanics that dont gouge their customers.

I have an Toyota car, need to change synthetic oil, they give a non synthetic oil change, the car mileage reduced from 480 miles with a tank full to 350. The backside break of the car just used less than 50000 miles since previous brake change, but last back brake change mileage was 150,000 miles, they said the brake is totally rubbing off, even cartridges broke too, need to change both for $550, they said to us our car is put other drivers in high risk if we dont change the brake, I drive the car to a different shop to to get second option and check the brake up, the mechanic in other shop says, the back brake of my car is perfect, doesnt need any maintenance. RPM also made the steering wheel very duty, we need to clean it many times. That is out experience with RPM AUTO

I paid for synthetic oil change and had to change oil again after 2000 miles they, recommended tires rotation for brand new tires.and completely unnecessary break fluid change! Take care for your money and time.

Mike, the owner and Steven, his right hand man are great guys who are willing to explain what theyre are doing and will answer any questions you may have. They are also willing to work within your budget if you cant afford to have all the recommended work done. They will prioritize the repairs in order to save you some money. Great service and attitude what a way to start the day

Brought my car for AC service and was told a leake on the AC valves, but once finish I was told they needed to do a wiring diagnostic because AC was not working and would cost extra. Then recommend paper work states AC clutch was not working. This place gave me the round around on everything that was wrong with the AC.

My father wanted to drive my car during a family get together. He pulled into the gas station too fast and popped my tire against the curb. Luckily, RPM Auto Center is next to the gas station. In distress, I walked over. The mechanic offered to take a look. He explained that it cannot be repaired, gave me a good rate and had his staff help me replace the tire in a timely fashion. It turns out that he was the owner. It was a hot day and I wanted to limit my parents exposure to possible people/covid. I requested for a courtesy shuttle service to take them home. Their house is within mileage range. The mechanic was swift. It s clear that he has a good honest hardworking team. * Few months later, I found a nail in my tire. After calling around I learned that RPM Auto Center has the best value for brands and compatible sizes. Needless to say, I had Mikes guys take care of it. While I was waiting, Mike and I shared a conversation. It s easily noticeable that he s in the business of helping people versus being in the business of fixing cars to make a significant profit margin. While checking out, the receptionist thoroughly answered my questions about tire pressure and educated me on how having the recommended PSI on the tire helps with gas. Another great experience. * It s time for an oil change. A coupon came in the mail for synthetic oil and after market filter change. Typically, I would have my car maintenanced at the dealership with the belief that they will be the most skilled, knowledgeable and provide the best care. Naturally, I wondered if it would be the same. Being that I have had two good experiences I thought I d consider going to a mechanic shop. It was then that I became aware that RPM is a FULL SERVICE mechanic shop. I asked Mike if it s better to have an original filter. He shared that, personally, he has not had any problems using after market filters and assured me that they work the same. RPM Auto Center took care of me with unbeatable prices, additional complementary care to minor issues and great service! As a token of my gratitude, I discreetly tipped the mechanic. Since then, I have recommended RPM Auto Center to my family and friends. It sounds cliche but it s true!

Great place for auto body repair.

Outstanding all the way around. My service engine light came on, and I brought my car over the same day. Everyone here is friendly and very professional. They let me know what I needed, and why I needed it. They were able to complete everything in one day. Lastly, the final cost was actually lower than the quote. They were able to save me a little on labor and this made my day. Ive had several cars over the years and RPM always keeps them tip top.

Worst place ever!!! I ve been that place according to Yelp comments and one of my friend suggestion but it was totally disappointment! If you have any European car never go there! They want to charge $500 just for transmission oil change and they took $135 for diagnose but actually they did nothing nothing! They just tried to get your money with diagnose lies don t trust them and don t go this place! They want to charge over $4500 and they said we are not sure that it is going to be solution . Well if you don t know, so please close that place!

I have been taking my 2009 Mistubushi Lancer here for about 5 years. They always take great care of it. They are very professional and upfront about what is wrong with the car without trying to sell me on other random things. When I would take my car to a commercial dealership they would tell me all kinds of things wrong about my car and charge me a ridiculous amount. I would bring it to RPM and would check with them about what my car really needs. Sometimes the dealership was right, but most of the time it wasnt. RPM would charge about half the price and get my car done in a timely manner.

This is the best place to go to. They re are super thoughtful and caring , and I can tell that they won t take advantage. I used to go to another shop and they weren t doing a well job always over charging me, and then I found this one and they literally helped me with my car at a reasonable price. They even check up on after your service to see how your car is doing. Excellent customer service... I could honestly go on and on but try this place yourself you won t regret it!

Im been servicing all my 5 vehicles at this location since Ive moved to Woodlands Community in 2003 right next door to them. They are friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy, reasonably priced, great at following up even with a friendly text to check on their services. Highly recommend them over dealerships. They also send out discount coupons every so often which is even nicer on the pocket book.

I had my Honda towed to RPM after it failed to start.Got a hold of Ricky and he accepted the situation. RPM did a diagnostic test and R&R the faulty starter motor by the next day. Since I was a regular customer ,they waived the diagnostic fee! That is a new experience for me! So, RPM is my go-to shop, give them a try!

RPM always gives great, accurate, and efficient service. I always recommend all car repairs/check ups here because they re not only professional, they give you promising results. I had a hard time hearing and withstanding my brakes squeak after several attempts trying to get it fixed. They took the time research the into the root cause and later found that my VW brakes had a recall that was never officially announced under warranty. They never gave up even when we were about to throw in the towel ourselves. If it wasn t for RPM I would ve traded in my car for something else just to save the hassle. Thank you for your diligence and laborious effort! I can finally enjoy driving my car all over again.

Great service as always! We called them for an oil change and realized we were overdue for some major service. The work was completed quickly and at a fair price. They picked our car up and delivered it right back to the driveway, which was very helpful during this lockdown.

Great auto shop in Arcadia, Probably one of the best ones in the area I know there are a few shops around the city but this one tops them all the employees are really nice and professional and I appreciated them informing me and my girlfriend on everything that was needed to get her car fixed. They even explained what the previous shop we went to did to my car which had a lot of messed up parts due to their lack of work. These guys fixed it all and Ricky even gave us the old part to show the previous maintenance place what they have done. Definitely coming here again, thanks RPM!!

Good service however they didnt know how to service an easy fix. Tires are a bit pricy, but Im glad theyre here when you need them.

One stop shop for car repairs

Huge kudos for honesty and integrity. I have been going to RPM for the last three to four years. I have always been pleased with the pricing and work on my truck. 2 days ago I had to have my truck towed because of a massive leak of radiator fluid. I was hoping it was something as simple as a radiator hose that busted but was preparing myself to have to pay a chunk of money to have it fixed. I spoke with Mike later in the day and he informed me that the issue was covered under warranty from a job he had done on the truck six months before. The great news was there would be no charge. How many mechanics do you know that would be that honest when I would have not had a clue as to what the problem really was and that it was even covered under a warranty. Well done guys! I would give you a 10 star rating if I could and I will continue to send folks your way! DH

These guys have helped me out with regular maintenance, replacing/patching tires, smog checks, and diagnosing issues to help me decide how to best get my car repaired with bigger jobs. They communicate, charge fairly, work quickly, and are always consistent and fair. I do a lot of simple work on my cars (Honda and Mazda) but I trust these guys to do stuff Im not able to get done myself.

Huge thanks to Steve and Garvin. They were extremely helpful in coordinating the arrival of my 99 civic hatchback by tow, and the delivery of my b18 swap. Communication was superb through every step of the process from beginning to end. Garvin knows his stuff! He provided solutions and made suggestions to not only benefit the swap but also save me a few bucks where I didnt need to spend. Not to mention going out of his way to have a muffler shop customize my muffler to fit the swap. He also waited 30 minutes past close time for me to pick up my car. My brother and I have had terrible experiences with other so called professionals on previous projects, I cant stress how much we appreciate these guys at RPM. No sweat broken, no sleep lost. At all. Theyve earned my business on many, many future projects to come.

Made it right despite supplier parts issues.

Took car to have breaks done all four and alignment. Did brakes and said needed outer tie-rod. Purchased outer tie-rod online. Car made grinding noise about two days later took it back and was told the noise was they forget to tighten a bolt on the brake clapper. After it was there for two days it was not the tie-rod. So now I have a part I do not need.

My head gasket was acting up, and my friend told me about RPM Auto Center. So when I had the chance I drove over, they took it in, and two weeks to repair the top end of the engine, including the time to really make sure the car ran well. Ive been coming here for over a year now just for a basic oil change. Dan and Steve didnt just provided me w/ an oil change, but numerous times theyve went out of their ways to inspect my Lexus. At one occasion they saw a bolt that secure the brakes, it had fallen off 90%. Thank goodness that they inspected my vehicle before I had headed back on the fwy. My overall experience with these fellas has been GREAT!! Highly recommended!!
