My battery charging system warning light came on as I was driving from los angeles to victorville last night. I had AAA come out and check it and they said they weren't really sure but but that it might be the alternator. I went to autozone for a second opinion.And they said they think it's the battery, but they were not willing to take the battery out to make sure. Today I called universal batteries, and they had my battery size in stock for less than half of the price of any retail store that I could find. I am a realtor and had homes to show, so I wasn't going to be able to make it buy their 3 PM closing time. But I called the owner, Lalo, and he was so nice that he was willing to wait till 4 pm for me to get there so that he can help me with my battery. His manager Dakota was also willing to stay so that he can help him. As my battery is a difficult one to remove and install. I appreciated them waiting for me so much so I was able to get it done and not hassle with it next morning and I could have my vehicle working properly. They were both so nice and knowledgeable and it was a great, family like experience. They also provide other services such as alternator replacement and tire sales and installation. I recommend them 100%

Terrible evening. Had to spend the night at a fast food establishment. Due to lack of cooperation from my battery. Lacking in resources didn't help either. So this morning I started to look for a used battery shop. Needless to say. They were all closed. Except for the good people at"Universal Batteries". I spoke with Dakota. I told him my situation and without hesitation said "worry about nothing."" I can help you out ". I can't thank Dakota enough for going above and beyond with his quality service and prices. Came in looking for a battery and not only did I find what I was looking for but they also installed it and was out of there in no time. Dakota was very helpful and knowledgeable. Came back next day for an oil change and went back again to fix my other car. Anyone looking for great service this is the place to go to. I will definitely keep coming back again, highly recommended.
