Jaime’s garage, (JB Repair Inc) was recommended to me by a great friend. Thank goodness he did because I wasn’t having any luck with trust and with ethics. Jaime was everything you could ask for. His enthusiasm in his work, his honest and professional assessment, pricing , excellent timeliness and most of all how knowledgeable he was, like a scientist lol, seriously you’ll enjoy the feeling of confidence in him and in yourself. I came here based on the positive Google reviews. My "service engine soon" light came on. Jaime plugged in his computer and he told me that the fuel level sensors were bad. He wasn't sure which one, so he recommended that I replace both of them. He charged me $110 to diagnose the problem. I asked if that diagnostic fee goes towards the repair and he said no. I didn't want to go somewhere else for a second opinion because I would lose that money, so I decided to go ahead with the repair. He charged me $500.24 for the fuel sensor parts. I later looked up the parts online, and they were $143 each. I called Jaime and I asked him about the fees he charged. He told me that he marks up his parts 30%. However, he actually marked them up 59%. Usually, industry workers get parts at a discount, so I don't really understand him marking them up 59% over what consumers pay. Then he said that he is in business for profit. I told him that I thought the repair was too expensive. He said he might have been able to get the parts cheaper from another place, but it would've taken longer. I told him why he didn't give me that option, but he said he thought that I needed my car right away. I told him I had another car I could drive and I would've liked the cheaper option. He just shrugged it off and said it isn't his job to ask me when I needed my car. I feel like it sorta is. I would have given one star but he did re-calibrate my TPMS sensors without charging me. Which makes sense why he did that, though, since he overcharged me for the fuel sensors. I was hoping to find a local mechanic that I could trust that does good work for fair prices, but this did not happen. I will not be returning here.

I came in with a broken AC on a genesis coupe, and they diagnosed and replaced the compressor and had it working in a very short amount of time. Very efficient and professional. Highly recommend

Great service. Jaime and Carlos are nice and friendly. Very honest too. Love that they show you the parts they replaced and the fluids too. Reasonable prices, they go out of their way to tell you what's going on with your car and what you can wait on to replace. We will definitely make the trek from Westminster to come back here.

Jamie, the owner, has been at this location for 5 years. I have followed him from his prior business that was located in Buena Park. He has solely worked on my vehicle and has been the most honest mechanic. I have been blessed to have been referred to him years ago. Everything Jamie works on or has to change, he shows me each piece that needs replacing as well as explaining if I don't. His work is fast and efficient, and he is very communicative throughout the repair.
