We were vacationing in the area and developed car trouble that made the car undrivable. The folks at JR rescued us. They quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. And they could not have been nicer. Special thanks to Hank and Victor.

I purchased this door handle that was already opened and taped up. I verified before I bought it that I could return it (they even wrote this on the receipt). I came back within 20 mins and denied because “we can’t sell it like that”. Even though I returned it in the EXACT condition as I bought it in. Be warned—just assume you can never return anything here. I normally try hard to support local businesses, but in this case will attempt to buy my hardware from HD or amazon in the future .

I needed a new battery installed in my work truck that has more complicated wiring than your normal truck would. They were quick and friendly and I was in and out of there in no time. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

The bigger auto repair in town so more stuff and equip on hand. I like Jr who has offered me free advice in the past. I am a bit sad to have seen a for sale sign out front when I took my mini in the other day.

Was camping near the area on day 1 our back left tire went flat on us. Next morning being 2.5 hours away from home and a little nervous I took our SUV to these guys with no appointment and they got our tire patched in less than an hour. Very friendly and appreciated getting us squeezed in. Highly recommend JR's Auto Care Center !!

A nail in the tire threatened the family vacation on the coast, but Jr’s came to the rescue. Even though I didn’t have an appointment, the team slotted me in first thing in the morning to get the tire patched and me back on my way. This super friendly team is also quite knowledgeable: when putting the wheel back on the car, the technician torqued the lug nuts properly even without me asking him to. So many shops skip this important step ‘til I remind ‘em. So, way to go Jr’s!

Friendly, effective, insightful, and affordable service. Highly recommended. Our car had broken down about 8 miles out of Gualala, and they readily accepted the tow from AAA and worked our car into their busy schedule. They were able to diagnose several problems with the car while we stayed in a vacation house. They were not pushy and did not try to charge us for more than was needed. They repaired the car to the point that it could get us safely 100 miles home. They thanked us for our patience and gave detailed instructions on what was needed next. They were such a great resource that we sent them a proper thank you note.

My family and I were visiting in Anchor Bay when our car started acting up. With a 7 hour drive back home the next day I was a bit stressed. Terry was able to fit me in before close the same day and Victor quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem at a very fair rate. Everyone was really friendly and accomodating to our situation. I would highly recommend!
