This guy is a crook , he checked my truck with his scanner before running the test which told him it wasn't ready to be tested due to resetting the computer after fixing some issues , and then continued by running the test anyways which failed only because it wasn't driven enough before testing just so he could charge for it
Fast and easy service. You don't need your (EVAP )complete to pass. At the time I went there was no one there so I didn't have to wait 👑
I went for a smog. 1 car in process. I was waiting and asked if he will take me. Employee said yes. Well after he completed smog on the car in front of me the customer was upset. Yelling at the employee that the test was wrong. Of coarse it had failed. But he yelled and told him that it should pass. Customer was saying his test was wrong and it rigged. So the customer threatened to call cops and report him. Right after they left the employee told me he is closed. He was in a hurry to close up shop. It was 45 minutes early till closing time. I guess he was scared of the threats that guy made. Makes me think and I decided I will never go back to Happy Smog. Looks like Happy Smog is not so happy anymore.
I have taken my car to Happy Smog in Gilroy three times since 2018. Patrick is courteous and helpful. He gets right to work on certifying your car, which usually takes less than half an hour. When backing out onto Monterey Street Patrick stands in the street to ensure that you can safely pull out. I highly recommend Happy Smog for your smogging needs!
I would say i have been going there for 8 yrs now. I had to wait with one car in front of me twice. However, vehicles keep on coming. Parking is limited while waiting and when leaving the owner helps you back into the street because of the limited space.
