Jiffy Lube in Gilroy

The Gilroy location has great customer service and fast!!!

I just wanted to share my positive review here at Jiffy Lube. I’ve been getting my oil change and filter change here for a couple of years. I have had the best encounter and service by Jael. He is the manager and I admire the professionalism and kindness he showed when I arrived. I appreciated Jael helping me find my mileage on my car and he even gave me advice on how much my car would be worth if I sold it. He was very helpful and I appreciated that. Another guy name Jason came over to help and took my car in to get it changed. He was professional and kind. I highly recommend getting our oil change here. Jael and all the workers show excellent work ethic and I was impressed. Thank you again!

Super nice and friendly. I really felt that they wanted to do a good job. It all went quickly and smoothly.

I always do my own oil changes but for those exceptions that I don’t have time, I trust these guys to get it done in a quick and responsible manner. The customer service the employees have is that above excellent. I cannot be any more happy to share my incredible experience each time I come here.

There was money added to the price which was not overqualified such as I got a $54 oil change only. My bill came out to almost $80. The service did not include hidden labor fees which was about $11 and I was not prepared for that. Also when asking how to reset my oil change reminder prompt in the car the kid also reset my odometer without my permission which was upsetting as I needed the mileage numbers which were lost because of it. I was upset about that but tried not to show it but they knew they made the mistake and learned from it. I did appreciate them double checking for leaks. They offered to wash my windows but forgot. The kids however were polite and respectful and did their best to be thorough leaving minimal oil spill mess on my engine. They also checked other fluids and topped off water fluids

It is cheaper and faster to do it yourself. They charged me over 100 for an oil change.... I hope they're paying the staff well for those labor costs. Especially since the staff being friendly and getting the work done as asked once my car was in is the only positive I have from this experience. Good staff, the costs are ridiculous.

Usually pretty fast and convenient but the last time I went the district manager himself oversaw my brake and drum replacement. I thought what could go wrong he's here.....lol Long story short the Meineke shop says "the jiffy lube manager ignored a bigger problem with my suspension in favor or giving me new brakes and drums when my suspension was causing the damage to them. And any mechanic who has spent anytime under a car would be able to see that." Since jiffy lube doesn't do.major suspension repairs I can see why they "didn't" see it. Charges me $400 for a repair that was ruined the moment I drove away. Ended up spending another $1000 when i could've used that $400. Incompetent from the top to the bottom, the kids are good kids but are being led by fools.
