Great local source for parts and gear plus you can order though Revzilla for anything and have it delivered. They mount tires, are fast and friendly. They even got me some racing parts(brake pads) on spec and much faster than I expected. I like that I can get same-day parts and their selection is solid, especially for helmets and boots. Shop here and help keep them open so we don t lose this resource! Support your local shop!

I bought the tire warranty and the gentleman didn t even bother looking it up ,,, said I need a receipt. Last time I m going here ever!

I have a good experience every time. Josh was very helpful. He installed the Sena SRL 3 intercom systems in two helmets and made sure they were paired properly. He also paired the new helmets with my old helmets. Very happy.

I really like the locals bike shop feel of this Cycle Gear. Maybe it was because it was mid day and not a lot of people there but the associates were engaging and fun to chop it up with about bike stuff. Besides that, the store is organized better (IMO) than some stores including the CG in San Jose which is my local shop. I can see myself riding an extra 45 min to go to this store for fun. For a quick pick up and go, I ll still go to my local CG but this Gilroy Cycle Gear is clean, products are displayed and organized nicely, and the employees give great attention without being over bearing.

As good as it can be. Being that its 2024, its almost difficult to find a part that isnt sold online. That being said, CycleGear still offers a decent selection with good prices competitive to those online without the obvious delay of delivery. Some things cant wait, and thats when I go to CycleGear. Friendly store clerks here at the Gilroy store. Cheers

Super helpful and friendly. I came in 40 minutes before they close to pick up a helmet and was amazed on how friendly they are. Not only did he help me to pick a pin lock to help with the fog but also install it for me.

Helpful staff. Only place I found who stocks 13/14 sized boots. Thank you. There were a couple other things I was looking at that you did not have my size in because the store only received one of them in large/xl and it was already sold (helmet) Ordering should be 1xs, 2sm, 3med, 3lg, 2xl, 1xxl. Not 1 sm, 1 med, 1lg, 1xl. Going deeper in sizing at trade off of a few less style choices should lead to more sales. Also, technology should be maximized to move inventory between stores if something is selling elsewhere. You could ALWAYS find a basic color version of a great helmet at RoadRider.

Went to get the goods to do an oil change on my Harley and was as always, shocked by how it just keeps costing a bit more every time. But your crew at the Gilroy store was on the job and let me in on the deal of the week. And I was on my way home to change my oil. Still shocked but saved 20 bucks so it wasnt so bad after all. Its always cool to have some dough for the parts Im gonnA need in the future.

Thanks I went back to Cycle Gear for a helmet again, since I had such a great experience with Kristie. This time, Josh helped me. Josh had 4 weeks on and experience installing Bluetooth systems in roughly 10 helmets. His work was flawless and he was polite and helpful. I just got a modular Shoei helmet with a second docking base for the new helmet to dock my Cardo system. Love the helmet and the setup. Thanks Cycle Gear!! And Josh!

Overall good experience! Customer service was a little too aggressive on pushing more expensive items (that s why the 4 stars). I get it, but maybe just give more pros and cons to peoples choices and let them decide vs trying to upsell aggressively. That s my only critique, dude was very helpful though and the manager was great and explaining how the store specials work. Upgraded my helmet and saved some cash. Overall I highly recommend. Will be back, Great staff!

I was looking to replace the tires on my Yamaha FJR 1300 es. The sales person went above and beyond what I expected. The level of service provided was exceptional. The price of the tires were the best I have seen. I purchased a set of Michelin Road 6 GT.

First off i have to say wow. The staff here are amazing at there jobs. Brandon and Evan knocked it out of the park. I came in with my mind set on getting another Bell. Brandon came over and started talking to me about my other options. He was very kind and knowledgeable, and not pushy in anyway. Brandon ended up getting me set up with a Shoei RF 1400. He was very transparent, kind, and knowledgeable with helping me. Evan helped me get setup with a different Cardo mount. He was also extremely kind and very helpful. These two are very good at their jobs here. In my opinion they both should get raises. Thank you again to both of them.

I appreciate the knowledge of the sales rep Crystal regarding the product. I called about a chain breaker and press. She has and uses the tool. She let me know it was on sale The guy who rang me up supplied me with new links and chain lube!

Got a tire swapped. They had it mounted and balanced in under an hour with friendly service.

They were very helpful making sure all the gear I need fit correctly. Also helped set up everything like speakers in helmet and making sure all working correctly with my phone. Very friendly will return there for sure with motorcycle equipment needs.

These guys do a good job. JP specifically brought me exactly what I needed with only about a sentence of explanation. Even broke out pricing options. Above and beyond what was expected

They were very helpful when I was choosing protective gear for off road. Also helped with price matching.

I came in on a slow day and was the only customer in the store. I was promptly greeted but knew exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, the staff member seemed bothered to assist and needed more than necessary help to look up an item on their own website. Looking to place an order for additional parts through one of their distributors, I felt like it was going to be more of a hassle than it was worth. I bought some off the shelf items I knew I needed and left to place the parts order elsewhere.

Getting ready for a trip to Baja I purchased a helmet and some other items only to find out that the helmet wouldn t work for my application. The store manager let me return it and the Bluetooth speaker we installed. Nothing had been used but it was very nice that I could return it. Been shopping at cyclegear for 20 plus year s and it s been all good.

I was in the area and picked up items I needed (battery tender and new shoulder protectors) which they had in stock and on sale!

I only go to cycle gear when I need to. There prices are high. I do shop there often though. But I get way better deals online. The only discounts that are given is you have to pay for a membership which I think is a joke. My son and I participate in a lot of races all over nor cal. You would think they would want customers like us. It just doesn t feel that way.

Went looking for comms system, mentioned I had some trouble connecting bluetooth to my Boom system and guy working the counter spent 45 minutes working the issue with me. In the end the comms system just would connect but what great service. Really went out of his way to help me out. Told him as soon as I got the answer Id be back to them to purchase.
