It is a review long due. Karen and George are the most patient people. Their can do attitude is why my car can be saved. My car had another shop installed wrong fuel injectors causing terrible running rich problem. Although Redman's didn't pick up the issue (as I told them the injectors have been replaced), they did all the possible checks looking into different avenues, and patiently work with me to try various parts to get the car to run again. The temporarily fix at least get me on the road again the finally find someone to catch the problem.

Visited them for a smog check. They were very professional handling the documentation & explaining what the process is. Also lowest rate I found in Gilroy. Very nice business!

After being told by a few other shops that they didn't even have time to look at my trucks problem while on a road trip on a Friday, we got so lucky to pull into Redman Automotive. We met Karen, and her being the angel she is started making miracles happen. She and her crew diagnosed the problem, they happened to have a the parts because of a previous job, and got me on the road within a few hours. Absolutely amazing in every way. Cost was very reasonable, the truck runs great, and it obvious they really cared.

We were driving on highway 101 from Monterey to Vancouver, our dashboard sensor pop up saying transmission temp. high. We stopped for 15 minutes and the sensor went away. Just to be safe... we wanted to double check so we called 6 places for help, no shop was available to accept walk in due to busy holiday season. We happen to pass by Redman and the owner ( Karen) was so understanding and helpful, she immediately helped us knowing we are on a tight schedule trying to drive back to Canada. These folks are Amazing!! We broke down on Pacheco Pass heading out for our family vacation on a Sunday evening, the tow truck driver recommended Redman’s and took our truck there. We waited stranded in our fifth-wheel at Casa de Fruta over night. Redman’s immediately responded the next morning, identified the problem within hours and had our truck back to us the next afternoon so we can continue on our journey! They were extremely honest, super responsive, understanding of our situation and best of all reasonably priced! They even helped deliver our truck back to us as we had no means to go pick it up! Simply an incredible experience and would highly recommend Redman’s!!

When it comes to any drive train maintenance or upgrade, any average DIY guy will either fear of breaking something or not having the right shop tools to tackle the job. In my case, I had a leaking axle shaft seal which requires an hydraulic press to compress the bearings on the axle shaft itself. I called all over Gilroy to find a skilled mechanic unfortunately I had no luck. In todays times its rare to find an experienced mechanic that not only has the skills to do the job but knows the little tactics that are best for the vehicle. I would highly recommend Redsman's shop over any dealerships that are known to rip you off. The reason I give Redsman's a 5 out of 5 is because of knowledge, experience and customer service that I experienced. Karen provided me with a welcoming customer service and helped me get a estimated quote for the seal replacement job. Redsman himself looked at my jeep which gave me the confidence by the amount of knowledge and experience he has, as I started the conversation about seal replacement to us having never ending conversation about jeeps lol (Also loved the white Willys cj Karen), that also shows that they not only care about their customers but are passionate car enthusiast. Redsman I will definitely do business with you in future!
