I went to the AutoZone on 10th Street in Gilroy looking to purchase an alternator for my 2003 Lexus sedan. The person who assisted me sold me the wrong alternator. It took me days of trying to figure out what was wrong and I finally went back and spoke to the manager Esperanza at this particular autozone. She took out the original core that I had taken in when I purchased the original alternator. She noticed right off that it was not the right one, researched it and made it right. She apologized profusely for the error and for all the time I spent trying to make this wrong alternator work on my lexus. Excellent customer service!! Esperanza, you are an asset to that AutoZone on 10th Street in Gilroy.
I had stopped by to get my battery tested because I had to have a jumpstarted and the young man that helped me was awesome. He even checked my starter and alternator and helped me disconnect my battery to reset the radio on myJeep. Definitely appreciate good customer service.
I drove all the way from Phoenix Arizona, Esperanza fixed me up with oil and filter for my Toyota, customer service is excellent here.
Jacob was excellent!! I just crashed the left side drivers mirror off and when I walked into Auto Zone carrying it, he asked “How’s your day going?” So funny. But then he didn’t order me the first one he could find. He went through his computer screen after screen until he found me the one that matched, fit and had the best price. Anthony was awesome, I thought I had battery issue but tester showed it was the alternator, he immediately noticed the screw was missing which was left out by another repair shop, he installed the bolt and fixed the charging error

I want to give a tremendous shout out to the employees at this AutoZone! I purchased a top of the line battery for my Lincoln two years ago, paying a little over $300.00. I had ongoing issues with it, but always had my son-in-law give my battery a jump. During our first cold weather this year my car had problems starting. Having paid as much as I did for the battery, I decided to have it exchanged. I had my son-in-law drive me to the new AutoZone by Safeway to exchange it. When the young man looked up my account he told me that I had the wrong battery, and that what I brought in was their least expensive battery, costing only around $60.00. I nearly fainted. He said that they didn't have the battery that was listed on my account and phoned the store where I had purchased the original battery. They had one in stock so we drove to the store on Auto Parkway. The associate at this store looked at the battery then looked at my account and told me, as I had been told earlier, that it was the wrong battery. He asked if I had a receipt, which I did fortunately. I told him that my son-in-law, who was standing beside me, had been with me when I had made the original purchase and could vouch for what I was saying. He and the other associates vassilated, not quite sure what to do. A man behind the counter told them to get the right battery and give it to me. I believe that he is either a district or regional manager. It was fortuitous that he was there, otherwise I would have been $300.00 out for the original purchase and would have to pay another $300.00 to have the battery that I needed for my car.
Great turnaround! I needed to get some antifreeze for my vehicle and was helped by a Gentleman “Kiki” He was Very Knowledgeable and Friendly! Then the very next day went back for a Radiator and was privileged to have Mr Kiki help me again, and again He Out Did Himself and I told Him that AutoZone needs more employees like Him! Thank You AutoZone. “Yes, Go Kiki! Go AutoZone!”
