Excel Auto Body & Paint in Gilroy

I just received my car back and it looks better than new. Excel did an amazing job and I'd recommend them to anyone. Excel's customer service was great, they were quick to repair, and the quality of the work is great.

This business does not even deserve a star. Please do not consider having your car fixed by this fraudulent body shop. They work really well with insurance companies to place parts that don’t belong to your car. Once my engine light came one they gave me the runaround and don’t want to deal with it..so I’m in the process of complaining to the California Department of Insurance plus hiring a lawyer. I hope this review saves a lot of cars out there!

Went in for a body and paint job. It took a few days longer than expected. Aside from a minor adjust on the bumper that wasn’t right when I picked it up everything seems right .

For what they charged, the work was substandard and I still have issues with the car. They have been taking a really long time to resolve the issue and it basically feels like they are brushing us off now. The car is overheating from a part they installed and failed.

Someone I know had a good experience with them so I took my car in to see if they would fix it. The older lady on the phone was attempting to be professional but came off as rude. She said I needed to pay a deductible and I told her that’s not what my insurance told me. My deductible was waived but excel never called me back after I told her I didn’t have to pay. Seems like she wanted to pocket the deductible. Took my car somewhere else and it’s better than before and the people were warm and welcoming.

Just had an excellent experience with the Excel Auto Body team. They were prompt, responsive, and knowledgeable about all my inquiries and we're extremely helpful with everything I needed. Above all, the painters showed their skills by making the work look fantastic. Would definitely recommend anybody looking to get excellent quality work done on their vehicles. Went in for some insurance work and they just take pictures and say will call you when we get parts in 4 days, it takes a month with no call back so you have to call ask if they can work on your truck is bad. I should have taken that as a sign to not deal with them. After the work was done i was very disappointed in the service, except (the nice front desk lady) also not being explained to about the work is being done. Personally I'm very upset about how my truck looks and when I brought that up and was told basically they cant do nothing amazed me. I wil never do business with them ever again

Excellent customer service and top work. My Ford Edge 2013 was repaired and looks like new.
