I first time using the place everything was professional and well maintained customer service top of the line

The first install was business as usual no complaints they let me know the window had a defect so they had me come back they changed it same issue that s where the issue started. Called them back immediately told me to turn back around i let them know i would be available 4 days later on my day off no call back no urgency to fix their mistake and was told just to not roll the window down that the car will shape around the window after a few days. 10 days later rolled it down first time major deep scratch and popping sounds.

Great service and communication. Came to my residence with light rain but got the job done promptly. Thank you

I went to a different safelite to replace my windshield and now is great no sound or anything. I when around April of this year to replace my windshield. 2 days after is done I drive on the free-way I heard a woozing sound like a air leak into the car and I bring it back and they said is nothing. So untill now I still heard it. Also the technician leave a mess on my dashboard like glues and debris.

My guy was on time, letting me know what time he would be at my house and then calling me to let me know he was close. Very nice young man! It was ez for me because I just had to hand him my keys and about 90 minutes later he was finished. Took my car to the carwash two days later and no leaks! Im a happy camper!

Do not get your glass replaced here. To start off they repaired my windshield saying it was structurally sound only for it to crack larger a week later. They then replaced mine and damaged the paint causing my roof to rust and will not take responsibility for it. Will never go back.

I have actually had to use this service twice in the last 3 months for a chipped window and a shattered window. Each rep that came out was very friendly and efficient and they work so well with Geico. The process was seamless and painless!!

Unfortunately a zero star review does not exist. Safelite caused $20,000+ damages to my Mercedes G-Wagon. I took it in for a windshield replacement using a SISKEN warranty I purchased from Auto Nation at the time I bought my vehicle. My car is white with a tan interior. When. my vehicle was returned it had black glue oozing out all around the windshield onto the white body paint. On the inside, there were giant greasy hand marks all over the tan suede headliner, seats and seatbelt. Shards of glass, plastic and other debris scattered everywhere. When I took my car to a body shop to repair the paint damage it was discovered that the damage was far more extensive underneath the windshield. The leather on the dashboard and headliner were both slashed and cut. But the WORST of it all is the fact they disabled SAFETY features on my windshield by giving me an aftermarket windshield that is not compatible with my vehicle therefore the technician decided to cut some major wires and leave them dangling and connected to NOTHING! Safelites outrageous response to this was that A Junior technician worked on my ($200,000) car, didnt know what he was doing and didnt tell anyone what he had done. I have been dealing with this for 11 months. Safelite is no longer responding to me and has taken zero accountability. I am making the repairs and paying out of pocket. I plan on pursuing legal action, not because of the cosmetic damages, rather the SAFETY implications of cutting my wires and giving me a CHEAP windshield that is not made for my car. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO SAFELITE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY. They only want to give you cheap labor and parts and you will pay for it in the end.

This store is a scam . No life warranty. Not professional. The dimension of glass is not fit in a car after the market. We buy $ 510 for rear windows, and this is what we find. We take to the manager in this store to change it and she say I cant change it And I cant do anything about it. %100 not recommended to anyone.

I had my almost brand new VE Taos windshield replaced and they damaged the sensor & left discoloration on the plastic that protects the sensor. as well as left grease marks on the interior fabric. Not professional at all

Review So low-key, this place has superheroes working at this location. His name is Juan, and I m guessing that s his civilian name. I had a repair completed at this location a month ago and thought I saw cracks spreading. I called the 800 number, and they told me I would have to replace the whole window, costing me around $1k. So I set an appointment and asked Juan if I had to replace the entire windshield because I didn t have the money to spare. So Juan put his cape on and flew to my car. Took a look at it from all angles and explained the cracks don t really go away, and this just needs to be smoothed out so the wiper blades don t get destroyed. 10 mins later and $0 charged I got my keys back and now I can go to work. Learning more about how filling cracks work. This place is fantastic, and Im guessing it is because of the great employees here, like Juan!

on a rainy drive to work my poor window was shattered by some object, leaving passenger side windshield obstructive. a coworker mentioned satellite and told me it was a great company . i recall the jingle on radio. i decided to give them a try. it was easy to schedule, convenient for us, affordable and quality service/ product. would definitely recommend them for door -door service and drop off! i forgot to mention my husbands car had a small windshield crack that they came to our home to repair on his car

Went in to get chip repaired with the windshield wiper replacement package, I m not sure how they installed my wipers, but now it scratched up my whole glass and now the scratched glass looks worse than the actual small chip it had, I called safelite on 03/30 they said Wendy the manager was going to call me the following day or latest Monday. Til this day I have not received a call, I also call safelite and says no one can take the call. I had also submitted an online concern on 02/26 and no one ever contacted me, i live in CA and it s been raining, I can t even drive my car for fear of scratching the glass even more. This has become such an inconvenience.

Too many steps to reach someone that the only thing is get ur insurance if not the really over charge but also if u have deductible its almost the same for glasses that doesnt cost that much Plus make appointments if they have this is a no no on repairs

Came to get my passenger window repaired here. Spent 2 hrs waiting only for them to pull me into the back of the shop to tell me they put in the wrong type of window, and Ill have to get the real one put in at a different safelite location, as I was on a roadtrip at the time. When I got to the next safelite location they told me it was the right type of window, but the people at this store damaged the rubber moulding of the window so Ill have to go to a dealership to get it fully repaired. Absolutely ridiculous. Do NOT go here for service, they only make things worse.

Went to their outlet in Gardena, CA, and got a car with damaged external trim, and globs of windshield adhesive on the inside of my car. Unbelievable. Avoid at all costs. These people do not know what they are doing, and do not care either

My wife took our 2022 VW Taos in yesterday to get the windshield replaced due to a crack. Car was ready to be picked back up within 3 hours. Extremely happy with the way it came out.

Beware of this place, took my car here and came out with chipped paint and scratches on my car. They did a horrible job, my car whistles when I drive on the freeway and I have a gap from the windshield to the body of the car. I also forgot to mention the black glue that is in the paint of my car. Already fixed the whistling part of the windshield at another location which was a lot more helpful.

Wouldve been nice if the glass shards were completely vacuumed and my interior not scratched.

I currently work as a fleet maintenance supervisor at a company and end up bringing a lot of vehicles here and Monica Is always very helpful and makes the drop offs and pick ups very easy. She is always very helpful and an amazing person up front. Dennis has come to our location a few times and everytime I see him both there at our location and at this location, he always has the best and biggest smile! Always makes my day better seeing this guy. This location is amazing definitely recommend bringing a vehicle here. Monica and Dennis always make it better at the end of the day. Good job, you guys.

Ive been waiting for my replacement glass for more than three months. Theyve canceled multiple appointments, first telling me they have the glass, then telling me they dont. I dont know why theyve chosen to string me along for this long. My original appointment was July 15. It is now October 18. They keep saying theyll call me back with updates. Ive gotten two calls from them in three months. Ive worked with two other Safelite shops, and I never had any complaints with those shops. This place wont even let me switch to a different shop because they keep telling me theyve procured the glass. Yeah? Where is it? The only positive thing I have to say about the Gardena shop is the receptionist is friendly. The parts manager needs to find a new line of work.

Urgently needed to get my driver side glass replaced. Someone tried to break into my work truck in the middle of the night. I called and explained my situation quoted me 900$ for the windshield and 400 for the side window. I was desperate so I said okay. I was told I would get called and never did. Been 3 weeks and they haven t reached out to me. I found a spot that charged me 600& for both windows. Don t recommend this place extremely overpriced.

So exhausting... The problem was with Customer Service Reps. Input the wrong location, when I tried to correct it. Was given the run around, placed on hold wayyy to long 1 hr. plus when asked to speak to a supervisor or to be transferred to the Gardena facility or given the direct number, rude reps. This was going to be my first time using the mobile service. Since I was going to be at work, thought it would be convenient for me. WRONG!!! Was called by the Inglewood facility asking me if I had adequate coverage? But wait! Inglewood? I originally scheduled appointment with the Gardena facility. The Gardena facility is close to work and home. I should have been informed, before scheduling the mobile appointment regarding the adequate coverage issue. Would have not had a problem coming in for the repair. No one has control over the elements. But for future references, wouldnt it make sense for the company to provide adequate coverage for their technicians? The technician called me to reschedule the appointment due to the rain. Soooo frustrating In closing because its ALL exhausting. I was finally able to correct the facility and schedule my appointment to have repairs in-house 7am. For the future I pray no more burglary or vandalism to my car. Should I have use of Safelite services its in-house appointments for me. My tech was very courteous and repaired my window within the given time 90min. Paid my deductible and was on my way to work.

Fast and convenient, also had a small issue a few days after the new windshield was installed and they came out to me and fixed it. Free of charge. Im very happy with the service and will be my go to place from now on.

Window broke a week later (poor install) and they refused to take care of it. Since, I have encountered rude and nasty techs that park over the sidewalks because they are too lazy to park at the empty curb. No respect for the law or pedestrians. I was injured because of one.

Came in to get my back glass replaced. Front desk was friendly and I only had to wait a couple of min to see a technician. Technician was knowledgeable about repairs and answered all my questions. If this review is still a 5 star by the end of the day when I pick up my car, then I was left a happy customer.

Too expensive to fix a 4 inch crack on a 20 year old car..

Someone broke in my car and broke the windows. My insurance sent me to Safelite to replace it. They replaced quick but they scratched my car and bent windows trim. They told me scratched was already there and they will replace window trim, but I never get a call from them. I saw reviews some people had the same issue. I wish I could read the review before I bring in my car there. I do not recommend bringing the car there. They are not honest

I went in to repair my windshield and I was able to get an appointment the same day to come back and get it fixed. Customer service was good especially Sean, who was the one doing the repairs on my car

When I first booked my appointment it said that it would take 3 hours. When I arrived to drop off my vehicle at 8:45 AM they said they cant guarantee it and thatd itd only be ready by 5:00PM. I needed the car by 2:00PM to get to work. They said that they can get it done in 3 hours only if I rescheduled the appointment. They dont respect your time.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. They have the worst customer service and give no regard to service and quality. I had to come back 3 times over 1 month to remedy a simple glass replacement. The manager said all the right things to make me feel good before each time I returned, but the onsite staff did not follow through on those promises. In the end, these were just hallow words from upper management overall this has been a horrible experience that still cost me $750 do not come here. Don t not use Safelite.

That feeling when you re on the freeway and a rock hits your windshield and you slowly see the crack grow bigger is the worst feeling ever! So your first reaction is you cussing up a storm while getting off the freeway and trying to figure out what the next move is. For me, I knew my next move was to call Safelite! Since I had a great experience my first time, I knew they were the ones to call. I was able to go through my insurance which was only $250 out of pocket for me. I was able to easily make an appointment. I dropped off my car in the morning, and it was ready mid-day. My windshield is great! Im a happy camper and even though they are awesome, I hope I don t have to come back lol. Thank you, Safelite for doing an amazing job and for your services. Hopefully, I won t come back, but if I have another issue, I will definitely be returning in a heartbeat! Thank you.

Great down to earth people, no robots. Free Wi-Fi. Thought I was going to stay about 3 hours. I had planned on running during service but they got me out of there in about 1.5 hours. They even cleaned the dash n floor a bit. Big plus in my eyes and made the experience worth the wait. Of course employees come n go and not everyone stays for life. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is due no posted phone number so its hard to call n verify appointments and ask other specific questions. The automated voice machine never gets you connected to an agent.

Arrived at 3:30pm for my 4pm appointment, to replace the windshield of my vehicle. I was told it would take 3 hours for the work. Waited there until a bit after 6pm, the place closes at 5pm(mind you). About a dozen vehicle came and left and my vehicle just waiting, no one even looked at it. I finally got up after not been acknowledged and went to ask the receptionist when my vehicle would be ready, she said, oh you are still here? Hold on let me go find out sir, she said. She came back and told me it would take another 1 1/2 hours, at this point I was very disappointed and frustrated that I just asked for my keys and walked away. My frustration is that if they tell me they need my vehicle for 3 hours and my vehicle sits there for 2 1/2 hours without being touched, what s the point? Overall, very poor customer service at this location.

Front desk made our appointment, we showed up early and waited over the 1 and a half hours for them to finish the car. Came back and they taped the car with plastic and told us they couldn t find the part for it.

Had a crack on my window that was spreading pretty fast and decided to go with Safelite since they come to your house. However after doing the quote, I needed to go in because my camera needed to be calibrated. It was fairly easy to get a quote, do the insurance claim, and get it done all through Safelite. When the work is being done, you can monitor the progress through a web app, which is great. Overall really good experience and I think they did a good job. The only thing is they forgot to move over a sticker from my old window which was pretty important. Luckily I noticed it before leaving and they were able to recover it.

They talked not nice to me

The service is nothing like you see on the commercial. What a case of over promise and under deliver. Made online reservation to fix small quarter sized rock chip in windshield. Received several texts/emails my appointment was set and the Technician would arrive between 1p-5p. Well, I was ghosted. I got suspicious about 4:40p and tried to chat, email, call, anything to reach the company. they do everything to avoid speaking with you. No response. No show. No attempt to contact me to reschedule. I will never use this company and will encourage everyone I know to avoid this place. Horrible, horrible customer service and follow up. Shame on you Safelite for producing warm and fuzzy commercials, and then do not deliver.

Its my second appointment and they havent put my glass on me

I was in a hopeless situation, and the staff and technicians here really came through for me. I was about to ship my Jeep to Germany when I accidentally broke my windshield while taking a decoration off the rear view mirror. I had already checked out of my hotel, my flight was in a few hours, and the best I could do was try and scramble to get all of this stuff rescheduled. Safelite in Gardena listened, and while they couldn t give me any concrete promises, they booked me the soonest appointment and gave me hope in a dark moment. I changed my hotel and flight and hoped it would all work out, assuming it wouldn t. But they checked me in and had my windshield replaced in less than two hours! I was able to move my appointment forward and they accepted the Jeep for inspection. Thanks to them taking care of me, I am back with my family on time to handle our last business before we go to Germany. Thank you all so much!

Im tired of hearing Im sorry when they screw up. Id rather see them genuinely trying to fix the problems rather than hearing it when they are not sincerely saying it. I have a 1 PM appointment which I was early to arrive. They assigned the car to a technician, and said that it would be done within the hour. By 2 PM, I asked the secretary why No-one is working on the car. She went around and after 10 minutes, she informed me that the technician decided to work on other car instead. Left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing. 10 minutes later she said a new technician was assigned and I can talk to the manager when he come back. Talking about passing the buck. What good would that do, I asked? The task was finish 1/2 hr later. No apology from the manager. I just pay the bill and left. No reason to waste my breath or get anymore upset. E

Quick efficient professional

I almost gave him a five-star but they need to clean up their procedure when it has to do with existing stickers from the old windshield. The sticker that applies to the next Oil Change was not returned we had to ask for it and when they gave it to us it was smeared they didnt take the care to peel it off and keep it legible for reapplication. I know when people are very busy they tend to cut corners but good business practices require discipline no matter how busy you are.

I called to see if they had my windshield on stock. The operator said she left a note on the parts manager desk because she is out to lunch. She ll call me back after her lunch break. I m guessing she had an extended two day lunch break near closing hours. That s when she called me back . Who does that? Of course, by that time, I already found excellent service elsewhere at Fast Freddie s & Sons.

I had a problem with them; they damaged my car, but after I exposed my issue; They were help full, and they fixed my car. To be fair now I am giving 5 starts due they made the right thing and help me after their mistake.

Service was great. Im excited about my new windshield, although my pockets probably arent. I was there for 2 hrs. I recommend some airpods/earphones/headphones and a fully charged phone so you could watch a movie or series. They have a TV but the channel they had it on was BORING! Also, the restroom could use some cleaning.

I cracked my windshield back in July and Safelite was able to quickly replace it at a great cost. They damaged my vehicle though and owned up to it, saying they d order the parts and get me back in real quick. It s now November, after calling countless times and being reassured a manager would get back to me, I am no longer able to get in contact with them. It s a shame after the great service they were able to provide that this was how things went UPDATE: It is now the end of January 2022 and the damage has yet to be repaired on my car, safelite has yet to contact me, and I am now sent directly to voicemail or safelites automated call center to which I get disconnected from. The only member of the team at this location who has been of any help when I was able to get through was Zach.

Disorganized and a mess. Told me to come back at 5 PM, paid, got my keys, but nothing was done to my car, I was like: ????? Apparently their reasoning was because the technician had a phone glitch and missed a few orders, I was one of them. Was going to give 1 star, but added another one for their apologetic attitude. Still pretty unsatisfied that I had to wait another hour for my car to be done when I already waited all day to come pick it up.

If you value HONESTY and INTEGRITY that will end up SAVING you money so you dont waste your time or over pay, then DO NOT take your vehicle here for glass repair. I needed to replace my rear glass window on my 2020 Rav4 XSE. I scheduled a Wednesday morning appointment online, since they were not taking appointments over the phone. I was instructed to bring my car in before 9:30am in order to have the window fixed. The Wednesday morning of the appointment I was sent an email to bring my vehicle in at 7:30am, so I dropped it off at 7:30am expecting it to be finished by the end of the business day or sooner. At 12:30pm I called them to get an update on the progress, they told me they were still working on it. At 4:30pm, 30 minutes before they close, they left me a voicemail that the car was finished and ready for pick up. When I arrived, I saw my car in the parking lot and the window was not fixed. I went inside and spoke to who I assumed was the manager, I should of got his name. He told me that they could not replace the window because the back windshield wiper needed to be replaced and that we needed to take it to the dealer or a body shop. This did not sound right to me, but my car had just sat all day at their business and nothing was done, so I no longer wanted to do business with them. Why didnt Safelite call me sooner with this information and why did they tell me on the voicemail that my car was done, which to me, implies that the work scheduled is completed? My answer, poorly run business with shady business practices. The next day I took the car to a body shop and told them the information that Safelite told me about the window wiper and motor needing to be replaced. The body shop did not have the glass and it would take them a week to get it, but they charged me a 100 dollar teardown fee to look at the wiper and motor. I should of just taken the vehicle to Low Price Auto Glass off of Wilmington, which is what I ended up doing. They fixed it in under an hour and guess what? Thats right. Nothing was wrong with the wiper or motor, it worked as if it was brand new. The technician at Low Price Auto Glass was confused to why Safelite said it needed to be fixed. So taking it to the Body Shop and paying them 100 bucks to look at the wiper was a complete waste of time which I should send my bill to Safelite. Thankfully Low Price Auto Glass only charged 350 dollars, whereas Safelite was going to charge me 510. But more importantly than over charging, they wasted 3 days of my time. AVOID SAFELITE, especially this location.

I had to reschedule my appointment 4 different times because they couldn t seem to get the right glass and one of the times I dropped my car off and left thinking they were gonna call me when it was done then after an hour and a half of not getting that call I went back and they told me they didn t even have the right glass so I wasted so much time. Nice people that don t know how to use their brains. 1/10 experience.

Well, i was up ready to walk out because the lady at the service counter ignored my presence for more than FIVE MINUTES; then, after having me wait way beyond the scheduled time; discovered that id needed to be re-scheduled; when i come early for a 1pm apptmt., the same person tells me that the guy doing my work is at lunch huh? we definitely didnt like each other...but the young sweetheart who installed my windshield mede me believe he felt my service was important and everything worked out favorably (elbow bump)

I feel like I got bait and switched. I was quoted 850 for a windshield and recalibration from their website. They didnt honor their price and made me pay 1100 for it claiming the part was more expensive.

As I m reading the reviews I had no idea what would happen but I AM VERY IMPRESSED! The work came out AMAZING and I got to see everything from the lobby lol. Wonderful staff and was told the time frame and they finished right on time. Also, I had a crack in the windshield and thank goodness for my insurance I was able to save money unlike with other companies I was trying to go without going thru insurance. But in the end still managed to save. Thank you Safelite!

The technician was very professional. He fixed the chip in my Windshield and I feel better about it.

Had my windshield replaced, now I have a whistling sound when I drive because they did not install the trim that goes over the glass properly. Received my car and there was pieces of glass on the drivers side floor.

Luis Pastor worked for my Prius . He changed rear glass perfectly . He is very polite .kind . after care is also good ,Price is not cheap Because quality of glass is good as OEM quality . 2 very small rust spot stopped this place from changing out my windshield. I guess when insurance companies send you all your business it doesnt matter helping out the little guy. Was told appointments take 2 hours and insurance drop offs can take all day. Whats the point of telling me to be there at 9:30 and then tell me it could be all day.

The customer service is IMPECCABLE, they were kind. Efficient, accurate, considerate, have coffee station, vending machines, tv, etc, etc, truly appreciate the service i received here!!!! Thank you so much!!!!

The call with my insurance company went smoothly enough and they offered a few choices for replacing my windshield. SafeLite offered mobile service where they come to your home to replace the windshield. They ask for the vehicle make, model and year so they can secure the correct windshield. This seemed like a convenient option but the service fell well short. I was scheduled for a 5-hour window (8:00am - 1:00pm) and they did not show up during the window. I contacted SafeLite via the customer chat on their website but they were entirely unhelpful. I called and after a couple transfers was told they would arrive soon. Once they arrive they determine they do not have the correct windshield and can only secure the correct one though the dealership. Long story short: 6 hour waste of time, no new windshield and unprofessional customer service team.

Wrong window

All the commercials, call and schedule an appt, they arrive, they replace and youre happy youve replaced your broken windshield. NO. When they arrived, they said sorry we dont have a part so well need to come back. Well call you tomorrow. Called twice and they said theyd call back. Instead I get a text saying my appt is canceled. So all those drivers of Subaru vehicles, they may not be able to help you. My husband took time off work to meet the tech, only to be told sorry they dont have the part. Would not recommend. Would have use the service paid the price they quoted of $427.52, but theyre unorganized and seem to not value their potential customers. If youre in Bellflower, Downey , Norwalk or wish to save go to Sinaloa Auto Glass on Woodruff and Rosecrans.

Fast and friendly

Ive gone twice and even though its a little pricey they do a great job and are very, very nice. They treat everyone as if they are the only one that matters and are quick in doing the job. Highly recommend

Terrible! They never showed up for the appointment we had, even after they sent an email the night before to confirm. Also, when I tried reaching out to them when they didnt show up, there was no way to talk with anyone. No matter what number I called it directed me to the website to make an appointment and there was no customer service! Very unprofessional!

I was unable to actuslly speake to anyone one phone st all went through app and got quote but app did not clearly identify the window i needed to repair for estimate thry may do good work but i went somewhere else got the same service within one hour of calling they came to me 1/3 cost st other repair facility snd could not get apointment for 4:days Davud Harbertson
