Transmission City fixed my truck right away.. Affordable and Professional

I was having problems with one of my cars code popping up saying needs a new PCM. So took to Tony he troubled shot it. gave me a list of problems that need fixed so gave him the green light to fix it. car is running good now. taking back this Friday to have last issue fixed.

I took my car in for transmission fluid exchange got my car back in three and a half hours. Great work and timely.

I recently needed repairs to the automatic transmission of my BMW 328xi (without warning) my car suddenly wouldn t go into reverse or drive. I was advised to bring my car to Transmission City & I m so Grateful that I listened to that advice and brought my car here. Tony (Owner), Staff (Maria, Umberto, et al) and the Technicians were able to identify & fix the issue (broken gear control)!!! If you Value INTEGRITY, Care & Quality as much as I do then I Highly, highly recommend bringing your vehicle to Transmission City for all of your transmission service and repair needs. AAA+++

2 weeks to get an appointment and then they said it was all. We need to fix that before we can figure out what the problem is, but theyre going to charge you a diagnostic but theyre really not going to tell you whats wrong with your vehicle then theyre going to tell you theres something else and you need to fix that for a couple of thousand and then theyll fix it for you Go somewhere else. Theyre not honest

Called to make an appointment. Gave the make and model of my car to the person on the phone and made an appointment. Hired a tow truck. When the car was delivered the company rejected the car and said that they dont work on that type of car any longer. Completely unprofessional and very poor customer service. Had to pay to have the car towed back the forty miles it was towed

Tony was so helpful with my 2014 Nissan Sentra transmission. He wanted to keep it over night to take a deeper look and figured out it was my transmission. He found out it was still under warranty and took to to the Nissan dealership to get a brand new transmission at no cost to me. They did find And fix up a few minor repairs but wayyyy better than paying for a new transmission. I was relieved that my total was so little with the work I had done to it. He updated my boyfriend of everything they are doing and all this happened right before Christmas but still had it done in a good time given the holiday season and limited days they had.

I went in to have my transmissions looked at because it sounded like it was grinding and it was shifting weird and after they looked at OT and said that it was fine and working great it got worse. And worse.

A good place to take a vehicle for mechanic issues

My transmission unexpectedly went out on me a while back, and I was just past the warranty. Tong and his coworker went out of their way to get ahold of the Nissan dealership so that I got most of the new transmission paid for. They definitely helped me out in a scary moment. Great, professional service! Two thumbs up. Would definitely take my vehicle back to Transmission City if I needed work! Sorry for the late review!

A clean car is something I like to drive and it took a while to get the resources to do my transmission. The first thing To do after I got my car back was a car wash. When I picked up my car, it was spotless, inside and out! And the car runs great! It s like I got a new car! Thanks Tony!

all they did was test drive it , not drop the pan to look for metal shavings for 100$ diag. then quoted me 4600 to rebuild a transmission that they had said half that price over the phone. DONT GO HERE.

i try to avoid the dealership for routine maintenance on my vehicle so when my regular oil change facility couldn t do a transmission flush they referred me here... miriam in the office was more than helpful to get my vehicle in during a busy time (spring break) i dropped it off the evening before and it was safely stored in the garage overnight with text messages updating me on the progress the following day... they even send a picture of my kia on the service bay which i thought was kinda cute... service was completed by noon... price on target and per tiny i m good for another 60K miles...

I had my truck worked on in the past an the work was satisfactory I recently took my truck in for an oil leak an spent $1000 dollars an the oil leak is still there I called today spoke to a young lady said she was going to have tony call me back so my problem be resolved. So far I haven t received a call back I guess I will follow up tomorrow an see what happens FML .....

Went to Transmission City to see Tony because my Check Engine and Maintenance Light was on. Took in the throttle sensory connector because that was what the code Auto Zone recommended. Tony said that he would do a diagnostic to see why the maintenance light was on, put on the part all for $70 and my car should be ready by 1pm. I was there a little after 8:30am. By 11am I received a call that my car was ready. They check engine light was off and maintenance light, part was put on, diagnostic ran and everything checked out fine.. thank you again Tony for all that you did and i did not have an appointment!!!!

They looked at my car, ran test and didn t find anything wrong. They didn t waste no time on getting looked at. They recommend I do things to keep my car running well, but I didnt have to do it right then. I did ask them to change my oil. The place was big and clean. I didn t sit in waiting room, but it was nice and clean. I will come back when and it my car as issues

Ive taken two of my vehicles here and have always been shown compassion and every employee respects you in a professional manner. Tony is the best along with the receptionist. This is the only place I take my vehicles when something major goes wrong and they always let me know what it will cost and it has always been fair and worth it.

I was having problems with my 1998 Toyota Corollas transmission. So I did a lot of research looking for the best deal. Called a mechanic I knew and asked him. He told me,Transmission City was the place too go, and man was he right. Tony Chavez , the owner came out to greet us. Tonys a great guy. My old car is running better than ever. New clutch, c-v boots, 2 new axles, new fluid in the transmission. This place was GREAT!. Im gonna take my 62 Ranchero next! So if your looking for a great mechanic, at a great price, this is the place to go, and they fixed my broken seat belt too! This was a lot better than buying a new car!

While we were not happy to be diverted from our vacation plans, we were more than pleased with the service we received. They completed the entire transmission replacement in one day. And, Miriam, used her personal vehicle to shuttle our family and a ton of our stuff to and from our hotel. I cannot say enough about the service we received. Very thorough diagnostic. Tried to cross check problem, tested and retested. Talked with me about what I was experiencing while driving, naturally truck wasnt doing any thing to diagnose. 125.00 fee was not charged and encouraged me to bring back and leave overnight so it could be tested cold.

On Saturday, March 24th, I had a scheduled appointment for a Transmission fluid change. Tony, the owner of the shop, was professional, patient, attentive, explicit, and precise in explaining the whole dynamic and reason for a transmission fluid change when your vehicle reaches certain mileage. I was intrigued by his knowledge and expertise. The price for stated service was reasonable. I mentioned few friends of mine, as well as my family, in the event they need service on their vehicle , this is the right establishment. Awesome customer service; definitely will be back for an oil change.

Maybe I need to say this first: I am a German, and Germans tend to be very reserved when they give credit to someone ... as an example: if they do not complain, it is enough credit ... Now taking this into consideration: this place was simply awesome. Why that ?! No1: i had a VW Eurovan that was towed from Yosemite National Park to Fresno by an AAA approved towing company ... we chose this place based on the recommendation of a local workshop (Siegfrieds Motors) who recommended these guys for a transmission issue (overheating, slipping gears)..... No2: they squeezed us into the schedule immediately and took care of us once we arrived No3: they had the right knowledge and staff to discuss potential issues & solutions ... No 4: Tony and his team was - for a fair price (keep it that way, Tony !) working on our vehicle despite the fact that he was not intimately familiar with the type of vehicle and the potential solution ....he changed the setup of the transmission cooler (who was installed the wrong way...)-:) and had us back on the road the next day.... No 5: imagine you are living in Oregon, need to get back there, have a limited timeframe and have a transmission issue, need to get across the mountains ( Mt Shasta et al) and you finally get there (leaving Fresno on a Friday) and on Monday morning Tony calls you and says: you have been on my mind all weekend .... well I tell you: you forget about all the crazy neighborhood that his wokshop is in and are just thankful for someone who definitively does not take advantage of you but who tries and does - to the best of his abilities - resolve your issues with your vehicle ....this is customer service at its best ! Finally: if i would be living in Fresno, he would be the workshop of my choice ! Thanks Tony and team ! Keep up that good work, the spirit and the fairness to your customers ....

I got alignment for my car Im pretty satisfied from their job they guys are professionals

We have had two vehicles worked on by Tony and his guys: my dad s Tundra and my Camry. The Tundra turned out to be a transmission fluid leak, that a less reputable shop may have diagnosed as needing a rebuild or replacement. They also alerted us to an unrelated issue that may need service in the future. The Camry needed a new radiator. We called them right before closing on a Wednesday and the car was ready to pick up at the end of the following day. Though the price was not the lowest around, the quality of work was tops and we trust them to do only what was necessary and prudent. Thanks Tony, Gina, and the guys.

The lady who answered the phone gave me two different prices for the same service and then her service technician lady told me that the first weekend man was confused and had quoted me for a diagnostic not the service and that I couldnt be given a price for the transmission servicing until after I paid almost a $100. So basically you cant even compare their prices to any competitors. Who knows what they would charge. Its ridiculous.

1st time here. I d always passed this place and never thought much of it. I decided to come and check it out when a friend of mine said they do good work. At 1st glance it seemed like a regular mechanic shop. When I walked in it had ice cold ac, a nice waiting area, and the front desk was very friendly. Prices are very negotiable and they know what they re talking about. It s so hard finding a good knowledgeable mechanic. No doubt this place and won a new customer. I will be returning for all my car problems now. I wish I d come here long ago rather then driving around like a maniac looking for a place to fix my car and they re was a shop staring me in the face every time I drove paste. Thanks!

A little pricey but professional and good service.

While on a road trip through the national parks in the Western US, we ran into a major problem with our trucks transmission. Not knowing a soul in Fresno I wasnt sure what to do. I stopped in at a NAPA parts store and asked if there was a transmission shop they would recommend. They sent us to transmission city. Even though they already had more work than they could get done that week, Tony (the owner) said hed work us in to at least figure out if a repair was possible. As we were towing a small travel trailer, he also took the time to help us figure out where we could rent a truck to get the trailer up to Kings Canyon. The transmission had to be replaced and I know Tony and his crew must have put in lots of extra time since they got our job done in two calendar days! The new transmission is running great and were back on the road with only one days delay in our itinerary. Simply amazing service and quality work.

Upon arrival to Fresno for a weeklong class my car decided that switching into third gear or higher was not going to happen. I found Transmission City online and drove my car to their location where I met Tony the owner. With Tony s professional demeanor, the cleanliness of his lobby and shop areas I could tell that Tony cared and would provide great service. After a conversation about my car an it s behavior we set an appointment for the following day. A diagonistic was done and my fear was not realized when he told me that I only needed to have a sensor replaced. With great joy I hmagreed to have the work done. Tony and his team took great care of me. I was only in town for a few days for training but Tony made what could have been a horrible situation into a great experience! My car was making a terrible noise as soon as I started it. You could hear me coming a block away. I took it to where I get other work done and the first thing he said was..I heard you coming. After checking the car over he told me to go to Transmission City and Tony would know what the problem is and can take care of it. When I got to the shop I was greeted by a nice young lady at the counter. I told her about my car and I was there to see Tony. When he heard his name, he came out of his office. He told me to give my information to the young lady and he would be back and we would take the car for a drive and check it out. As soon as I started it up he told me to turn it off and he knew what the problem was. I was told the car would be done late that day or the first thing in the morning and I told him morning would be fine. When I arrived the next morning the car was parked in front, I went in, received my friendly greeting, paid my bill and left. My car now runs quiet and smoothly. I was very impressed with the entire experience. The friendliness, efficiency and if you see that shop, even though they are busy, it is neat and clean. I highly recommend Transmission City to anyone with a car problem.

Ask for Tony he is knowledgeable friendly and will get the job done. They rebuild transmissions at there shop is what they told me and that is who I like to have service my vehicle. They have the computers equipment and know how to do the service the correct way. There front office is a little rough and hard to get info from but if you talk to Tony he will do you right

I was having issues with my 4 speed Muncie on my 69 chevelle. I took in chevelle after confirming with owner(Tony), that he would be able to service it. Problem was found to be the shifter assembly. I ordered new shifter, assembly and parts were installed and problem was fixed! Tony helped me out personally & was also helping out other customers as well. Tony and staff were very helpful. He even came in on Sunday to open shop, so I could pick up car! Great customer service. I would recommend transmission city to any one needing automotive needs!

There is a reason TC has 4.5 stars. Do yourself a favor and bring your car in. Pro tip: make an appointment ahead of time because they are always busy. Call, email, or use the app to schedule your ideal time. They will get back to you asap. I wanted an appointment for Saturday morning 8am (they open from 8-1 on Saturdays and its always busy). Since it was late at night (outside their business hours) I used to the app on Thursday to make an appointment for Saturday morning. I got an email on Friday saying they were booked and couldnt take me until the next weekend. I was disappointed I didnt get the appointment I needed but then an hour later I get another email saying there was a cancellation and they would fit me in if I still wanted to take my car in. Of course I took it in the next morning. They had me out in less than an hour ( I was there to do an oil change). I forgot to mention that they have special offers and coupons that you can use and I had one that pretty much paid for the entire bill. I only paid about $2. If that didnt convince you I dont know what will!

Had transmission problems in 2006 Tacoma. Tony gave me multiple options after the diagnostic. He recommended the cheapest fix based on his experience instead of just opening the transmission which can get very expensive. The transmission runs like new saving me time and money. Shop is large and clean. Gina booked the appointment and truck was done same day. She sent me updates of the work being done via text with pics. Will recommend to family and friends.
