Val's Auto Diagnostic & Repair in Freedom

I've taken my late Dad's cherished 1990 Chevy 1500 several times to Val's to get the smog check done. Each time I have found the experience to be quick, and professional. Thank goodness there are shops, like Val's, that are still performing checks on older vehicles.

Im always happy when I get my cars smog tested at Val's. They are professional, honest, quick, and at a great price with a clean waiting room inside the office. October 2023 I didnt have appointment so I got there 8:45 am, I was able to just drive up and Martin took care of me right away. My car passed smog test and I was back on the road in 23 minutes. :) 😀

They are my "Go To" for my vehicles. From classic to current models....they take care of all my smog checks. Fast, friendly and very professional service.

Went for Fernando's car wash based on a recommendation. The crew were all over my car washing and drying and yet some areas got missed. I was almost pleased with their work.

This place was....more amazing than I could ever put into words. After having moved to this area, a good friend recommended this place, and they had me in and out in less than a half hour; I went in on a Saturday morning. I mean, what else is left to say? Staff was friendly and helpful, especially after first calling in to see if walk-ins were accepted, seeing as how I didn't have an appointment. I honestly don't know that there's anything negative to say about Val's! Love and recommended to any and every single person looking for affordable, timely, and painless smog check for their vehicles.

I have used Vals for smog checks for some years now. Most recently about a month ago. I will continue to take my cars to Vals as long as Danny works there. You can tell hes a good worker and honest guy. I have had about 8 smogs done there over the years and every single time that Danny has been there (about 6 of those times) it gets done in what feels like 10-20 minutes on a walk in basis! I will continue to take my cars there as long as Danny is there. The price is competitive but the speed and convenience is unmatched. Not sure if Val is the lady at the front desk but seems to me like they should call this place Danny's.....

Danny and his team at Val's are perfectly trustworthy and expert mechanics! Though his parking lot is full with clientele they are very fast and thorough. Everyone in my household goes to Val's! Actually, we can't even imagine going any place else. You will be in very good hands at Val's.
