He did warn me it would take a long time and it did but I had to then ask remind them to patch up my tire from a nail (which was the main reason for going) and then in the end they told me they wouldn t be able to do it and I had to go elsewhere so I would Not recommend wasting your time however the guy Mario was very nice so I understand the situation but it just sucks as a customer

I came in asking for a brake assessment. I got a call that I needed brake service and a new battery. I approved the work, but when I reviewed my receipt, they added alignment which I did NOT ask to be done. I AM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT!

Over priced services, you re better off going somewhere else

Horrible service, got ripped off, didnt do the job I paid for, didnt check the fluids, I came out with the same windshield fluid light on, then just added some water when I told the guy, didnt rotate my tires, didnt explain any work done, hell I doubt the even put the synthetic oil I paid for. Ill never go back there.

I went in purchased a set of tires on Monday set up appointment to install on Wednesday left 4 messages to see if tire came in went to store to get installed sign on door no Internet so we are closed and they didnt have tires asked for return credit to go elsewhere told to call dm left 3 messages still havent heard anything customer service lacking and no one to answer phone

Took my brand new Tesla 2024 model Y for a flat tire repair. Left with scratched hubcap cap and chunk of rubber removed from tire near hub cap. A quarter coin size removed. I brought my car here because I thought they would take better care of it than a regular tire shop would. Not the case. Disappointed. Lesson learned.

The mechanics and staff at the mountain view tire location have been awesome. Ive been taking my cars there for 15 years. So in regards to that shop that I recently found out, is owned by the same company that owns the shop of different name that damaged the car , which I believe that a sick mechanic, 108°, and being short-staffed I was told, They rushed identified what was wrong. Changed their mind didnt fix it which led to several tow trucks from mechanic to dealership to mechanic and eventually a new engine being installed at mountain view tire. All these costs and issues with my vehicle was the last thing I needed after having an unfortunate string of events starting with a guy who doesnt know how to merge like a zipper caused a total loss on a vehicle with three payments left frustrated I get a Camaro before I make the second payment. Guy runs red light destroys Camaro. I get another Camaro just to find out the next day that the Jeep Grand Cherokee that was going to be paid off in a year. Only 3 years old went from a slight rough idle , which was identified as a misfire cylinder 3. By mountain view tire and a possible blown head gasket that they couldnt explain and said I was better off taking it to the dealership in case theres warranty because it requires a complete teardown. But theres no sign of anything that would lead to a blown head gasket except the fact that it is the V6 3.6 l engine that fails time and time again apparently., so with a little bit of a rough idle on start, no smoke no nothing I get a call from the dealership A day after I spent all the money I had from the insurance on my new Camaro that that engine that had a slight misfire is now blown head gasket , engine binding and wont start. So you can imagine my frustration when Im told I need a new engine in my Camaro. Now if I would have known at the time that mountain view was owned by the same company I may have hesitated about taking my car to have the engine installed at mountain view tire only. For the reason that I would not have wanted to give the company the money to repair or replace an engine I paid at another shop owned by them to pretty much damage my car fact is I trust the staff at mountain view tire so I would have had it done there anyway. More than likely but only because of the staff there and I needed my car and I trust them. At the other shop once identifying the driving deficiencies about a mile after I left there once repairs were made, 30 minutes later I got home. I called the other place and said I need to bring it back , something is not right with my car. I was responded with I didnt damage your car to when I stated, never said you did. I was just asking if you could look at it. Theres something wrong. I also informed him the wrong tires were put on my car to which he replied angrily , if you want lesser tires put on ,bring it back and well put lesser tires on your car So to sum it up for everyone whos still reading this. With the pretty much $900 a month for the next 3 to 5 years that guy who thought he could beat me costs and the failed Jeep is followed up with$13,000 for a new engine $2000 on a rental car plus $1,000 for deductible. Since I was involved in a hit and run in the rental car and the person has no insurance and took off that I chased down .I have to pay. Thats awesome. Not to mention the $800 in repairs that now obviously were not required due to new engine. It just goes to show you the bad apples can grow on the same tree that produce the good ones and One thing remains, the staff is great at mountain view tires and Ill continue to take my cars there because of the people that work there

Went in for an oil change. Was told that I also needed a new ($250) 51R battery because the current one was the wrong type. I had just bought a new car battery the day before and when I lifted my hood to verify the battery type - right on top of the battery - in clear view - was 51R. Now, I wonder if they even changed my oil.

If I could give them no stars I would be more happier cause what they did was just made me waste my time, took them 2hrs just to inspect my car. Shop wasn t busy and still. No service was done. Unbelievable!!!

I just came by today for a tire rotation and balance and I was close to getting charged $30 for the service. I let them know the tires were bought here and they still said they wanted to charge. Luckily I had the proof to show them about the rotation and balance inclusion with the purchase of tires. Therefore, if you ve bought the tires from this location make sure you re not charged the balance and rotation. The only 5 star I would leave is for Andrew, he was very adequate, professionally, and showed that he appreciates his work. I hope to see him as assistant manager or store manager next time I go back. Overall, this is the last time I will be buying tires from here but will continue to return to get my included lifetime rotation and balance for my tires.

This place has saved our butts multiple times. With all the construction going on around here and a mishap, we ve had to get a tire replaced three times now. The first two times I called a couple places before them and they were the only one who could get a tire within a day. The third time I just went to them directly and they had our new tire changed the same day. We just bought a new car and I told my husband that we should go ahead and call them so they can have a tire for us on hold in the back for whenever we need it next ;)

Came for a pre purchase inspection of a car and Luis was awesome to work with and took his time to explain to us in detail the condition of the car. Andrew was the mechanic that checked the car and was a pleasure to talk to him too. Keep up the great work guys!

Be aware of taking your vehicle here. They will DEFINITELY upcharge and overcharge for any service. There is a lot of incompetence here. I was a long-time customer with Goodyear-before this outfit bought out the Goodyear operation. In 2023 I had 2 extremely poor service experiences- both were warranty related matters. When I needed to take my vehicle back- for the exact problem that I d initially brought it in for- they tried wavier on the problem and tried to make it seem that it might be something other than- poor service/failure of service and the job would need to be done over. It was the last one that I had to go back for an oil gauge indicator malfunction. Initial repair was done in May, the issue reappeared Nov. However, before taking it back- I happened to have a relative in town who took my vehicle along with theirs to have a scan inquiry done to find out if the problem was what we thought. I did not tell Mountain View of this prior to taking vehicle back to them. We had a diagnostic from Pep Boys. I dropped the vehicle off @ Mountainview on a Friday afternoon. I had to call them around 3 PM Sat to inquire on the status- was told no work had been done because they were short staffed, an employee had to go home early- would be worked on Sunday. No call on Sunday- when I called- the same story. I contacted the corporate office to get help. After speaking w/the CEO, he had a regional rep- from Nevada called me with this story: my vehicle needed a new engine- at the cost of $5,000. Mind you, I drove the vehicle there with NO ENGINE PROBLEM or sign of a problem. I was completely incensed at this lack of accountability. Because we could not understand the need an engine response and my vehicle was driving with no problem . My relative decided to take my vehicle to another site for a 2nd opinion/review. We did not indicate any information to the 2nd diagnostic site about any prior diagnostic service. Budget Transmissions was the 2nd site-their response was the SAME as the Pep Boys diagnostic. It was a fixable problem both of their cost for the repair was under $225. Needless to say- with 2 different diagnostic printouts- concluding the same thing. They only differed in about $20.00 in cost was the only thing I needed to realize- I had been ripped off coming to this place. You will be mistreated- if you let them by accepting the poor service and overpricing-that s not customer service. I had to re-pay another service site to redo the work I d already paid this outfit to do. AND I DID NOT NEED AN ENGINE- STILL DON T . If you value your vehicle-think before bringing it here.

Took my car to just replace tires, but they also changed my sensors for a better price. Couldnt get a receipt because I paid cash, and would upcharge if I did it with card. My tire light was on since i left this place. Took it to another shop and was told the new sensors this shop installed are actually very bad. Beware.

I was on my third tire. I had a tracking device put on my car. My friends didnt even believe me. They were telling me it was my car and my car was called the cube even though it was a Nissan versa. SMH, and one of them was even a mechanic!!!!!! Mountain view tires put my car up on the rack and found the cube GPS. Im so thankful for them. And if youve ever been in the same situation you would understand. I just want to say thank you to all the workers for not making me feel like I was crazy and actually finding the GPS that was strapped underneath my car. I cannot express the gratitude and the freedom and the peace that you have given me. . You guys deserve 10 Stars. you are awesome thank you so much for your service.

They are bunch of scammers, I was quoted today for rear brakes and rotors over $600. I got a second opinion and was only paid 353. They lied saying both rear rotors were bad and beyond resurfacing. I only needed one rotor replaced. Its a shame how they take advantage of women especially single women with a child

I got a call that my dad was in the hospital and needed to get to him ASAP but when I hopped in my car I saw I had a flat tire. I called up Mountain View Tires and they were able to do a quick 15 minute replacement with no hassle and really saved the day. Thank you so much to the guys at Mountain View Tire & Auto.

Please, please do not do business with this location. My family and I have given them lots of business but not anymore. We had taken one of our cars to have an oil change and they recommended two tires. We trusted their judgment and told them to go ahead with the two tires. When they called to inform us it was completed we went paid, drove off and trusted all was good. Three weeks go by and the low tire light comes on. We decided to take the car back and upon arrival the manager ask how he could help us and we told them the tire had a slit in it and they looked at the tires and he didn t understand why the tires on the car didn t match the receipt. He is the employee whom sold them to us. We realized they never installed the new tires we purchased in the first place. We have all of our necessary receipts. We are very disappointed and sickened that this location would do this to us especially after all the business we have given them.

My husband and I were heading back to Las Vegas when our car began experiencing problems. We googled the closest mechanics and found these guys and they saved the day. After telling them the urgent nature of the situation, they made quick work on looking at the vehicle to determine the problem. Once identified, they ordered the part and had us back on the road in no time. A huge shout out to Ryan for his excellent customer service and to Mike for changing the part out quickly!

I visited this business for a tire repair. I called and was told to come on in and they could do the repair. There were two people ahead of me so I went to have lunch. There are many restaurants within walking distance and other stores to visit which made my waiting time go by fast. Repair cost very reasonable.

Up charged and waited 3 hours on a oil change

I called asking if they do transmission fluid, engine coolant and inverter coolant exchange for a hybrid car. They said yes except for the inverter coolant since they honestly dont know what it is. I agreed to it and they did transmission fluid and engine coolant exchange and was done in a couple of hours. About 2 miles away from the shop, my engine light turned on, hybrid engine malfunction kept flashing and my car stalled in the middle of the freeway. I almost died twice as trucks flew by inches away from my car. I was able to crawl the car to the roadside and called their mechanic. Mechanic came after an hour and said he just drained and exchanged the fluids and didn touch the engine. I had to get my car towed to the dealership where they found out that the INVERTER FLUID WAS COMPLETELY DRAINED. Technician said that it mustve been drained (accidentally?!?)when they did the exchange. What?!?! Definitely top5 worse days of my life since I almost died twice and I trusted a company to do their job properly.

Dont use them. They over tighten everything. My girlfriend used them . They put water in the oil and blamed me since I just changed the oil. They cleaned it out at no cost...hmmm. Then they did her front brakes, they only did one side. New bads on the right and the old pads on the left. I rotated my new tires today and had to use a extension on my breaker bar cause they must have been torqued to 300 ft lbs. I discovered the latter stuff later and didnt feel like confronting them now. I usually dont do this but this is worst example of bad mechanics Ive ever experienced. Beware!!!

Traveling through, I began to notice a problem with a wheel and managed to make it here... The manager understood the urgency as were traveling and made room for us. Additionally, Hernan made all the difference as he was keen on giving the best possible diagnostic and eventually found the issue which was easily corrected ...my son and I are grateful!

Great service! We were on a road trip from Columbus Ohio to Santa Barbara when the truck started shaking. Initially had gone to another shop who were going to take a while and charge for the inspection. Glad I called Mountain View. They took a look free of charge and fixed the DRIVE SHAFT in no time. The cashier was EXTREMELY RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL! I dont know him this was my first time being in his presence & he spoke to ad if we knew eachother. He spoke to me using the words Im a liar, Im trying to be slick, i know the difference between buying a tire on a warranty as opposed to without a warranty which are all false statements. I dont want a person that should be a professional talking to me like Im a personal friend or enemy.

do not go to this location. they will scam you. I came in to replace two tires. I asked about the price of new and used tires. I didnt want expensive tires, but I also didnt want super cheap tires either. I was quoted $410 for the cheaper tires and the newer tires would be a $60 difference (so $470 for the new tires). I chose two new Yokohama tires at $175 each ($350 for both tires), plus labor, fees, and tax. $470 sounded about right to me. we agreed on those tires. I asked if I needed to sign anything, the store manager said no, I left him my car keys, came back when my car was ready, and paid. when I looked at the receipt, I realized I paid $550. I also noticed warranties were added without my knowledge. I understand that tire shops are a business and they need to make money somehow, but charging almost $100 over the quoted price is ridiculous. I really felt like I was taken advantage of because I am a female and do not know about cars. when I asked for help and clarification on prices, I was told I couldnt be helped and had to wait for the manager the next day. the staff was being weird, didnt want to answer my questions, and the whole transaction felt off. do yourself a favor and do not go to this location. p.s. my brother was quoted $25 for a tire patch and was also asked to pay a higher price later ($45).

Please do not go here! They took advantage of the fact it was raining and I had a flat tire. I was charged over $380 for one tire. I confirmed that it was the cost for one tire and the manager gave attitude and began tapping his fingers as if I was bothering him, no one else was in the store. They scam on woman that come in alone when it s convenient and easy for them. My tire was completely flat and I couldn t just go anywhere. I will never go here again.

I stopped in to have additional air put in my tire. Upon inspection a nail was identified along with a worn out valve stem. The Technician out of the kindness of His Heart. Repaired & remounted my tire. And wished me Safe Travels. What a blessing

I brought in my truck for some routine maintenance and an alignment. Mike and his staff are true professionals and didnt try to upsell me additional service that wasnt needed. Mike took the time to explain the paperwork from the alignment and the before and after effects. I used my personal vehicle as a test run and since the service was superb, I am moving my fleet vehicle service over to Mountain View from my current provider.

Looking for reliable, trust worthy mechanic, that was honest and could get the work done. Spoke with Mike and he explained everything. Worked with Jorge when I dropped off and picked up my vehicle. True professionals and they do great work. Ill be bringing all my cars here now. Also honored the 15% Costco coupon.

25$ for a patch is a bit pricey ! But only tire shop open on Sunday. So I ve got mixed feelings about this place.
