Walked in to see how much they charge to fix my phone. Couldn t charge it! The gentleman said $10. Took him literally a second to remove a piece of plastic! He also wiped and blow out the bottom holes in the phone! Then didn t even charge me!

I stopped into the store to see if they could help with my key fob. I also wanted to have them replace the battery in my iPhone. In addition, I needed a couple of portable cell phone chargers. Kushal was exceptionally helpful in multiple ways! The customer service I was received was top notch! Above and beyond. They are definitely not out to just take your money. For a couple of things, Kushal suggd I might want to look on Amazon. He even pulled up the site and searched the items to show me. They re honest and aim to please!

I bought 6 deep cycle batteries in May of 2020. All failed by October, only 5 months later. These were replaced under warranty. Now another failed in less than 9 months, but they wont replace it. So a 12 month warranty does not apply if you get a replacement. This is not on any visible posting or on my receipt, contrary to state requirements. Buyer beware. Cheaper elsewhere. They lost a customer forever today.

This particular store in Folsom was really outstanding in terms of customer service. Our store had closed in El Cerrito, so I didnt bother telling her that Id had a Batteries+Bulbs battery in my watch before. She discovered that it was theirs with a lifetime warranty and replaced it for free after looking me up in the database. She was extremely pleasant. Great customer service.

I have purchased several batteries over my life time and when the Duracell deep cycle battery I purchased went bad and I took it back to the store I was told it would not be warrantied due to the voltage being under 10 volts and I should have done my due diligence to catch the battery before it got that low! Well I guess I should have gone over and checked my RV every day to make sure my battery didnt fall below 10 volts? What a joke! Sure I was given a new battery, but not under warranty, but as a courtesy? I wont ever buy a battery from your store again

Took my Samsung s20+ here to get the screen replaced and it was a nightmare. when I first got my phone back from them the speaker and the vibration stopped working so I had to take it back, they were unable to fix the speaker and had to order a part but were able to fix the vibration because apparently they just did not put it back together correctly. When the new speaker came in they replaced it but they were not able to seal my phone correctly and had to complain to get them to correct it. even after a manager took a look at it and tried to redo the seal my phone is still not sealed correctly and has visible gaps between the frame and back glass. After spending $300+ for a new screen I was expecting a lot more from them. really disappointed if I had to do it again I would try somewhere else and I suggest that you do the same.

They were open during the pandemic which was great but the agent Shay was not only knowledgeable but efficient and helpful. Planned on picking up from the Roseville store, but was called by Cody and given many options about finding the 2 batteries I needed. He located the 2 I needed at the Folsom location and arranged to transfer the pickup for me to that location. Very good customer service.

The reason I chose Batteries Plus Bulbs is because I needed my screen fixed within a few hours. It was a simple repair to replace the screen. The person who repaired the front screen, cracked the back of the phone. The back had to be ordered and will take another day. I wish I had taken the phone to a phone specialist. It would have been cheaper and in the end more timely.

Went to get my screen replaced and they had it finished in an hour plus they gave my a discount and I got screen protector for free with install! Very helpful and kind!

Batteries plus has many types of batteries in stock that are difficult to find elsewhere. The prices are competitive. In addition, I have always gotten quick courteous service and helpful employees when I go there.

Hard to find items but with knowledgeable sales staff, and I believe their prices are the same or lower than the Wharehouse hardware stores. I couldnt find this item anywhere else. I was about to order it online and pay shipping and waiting for it to arrive. I was shocked that it was every bit as affordable at Batteries + Bulbs. In stock too. :~)

Stay away from here if you need any sort of phone work done. Went in thinking my battery was not taking a charge. It ended up being my charging port. They replaced it for $80. When I got home I realized my screen was different. It didnt even fit my phone properly. It wasnt functioning properly by touch , colors were off, and the glass was CHEAP. I called them and they said when replacing the charge port they have to peel back the screen. Okay, so you ruin my screen, replace it with cheap glass thats not even suppose to work for my phone and dont tell me in hopes I wouldnt realize it. SHADY , DECEITFUL practices !! They said bring it in and theyll replace it, still nothing mentioned that yes we broke your screen, or yes we replaced it. I drop it off and come back a few hours later. Once again cheap glass that doesnt fit my phone properly and the touch function is iffy at best because of this. I tell the employee and he says yeah we didnt have the right glass for your phone but we can order it as a replacement for this one. Once again, I caught the issues with the screen. They again were hoping I wouldnt notice which is crazy. They said they will call me when it comes in. They dont , I call them after 2 weeks and they have no clue the situation. Finally get an employee who knows the ordeal and he says the glass they ordered for my phone was incorrect and needed to be re-ordered. Another 2 weeks go by and nothing, so I call them and they said they got it. Took my phone in and picked it up a few hours later. Still cheap glass and it fits a bit better than the last one. At this point I was just going around in circles with these guys who dont know what theyre doing on the repair side of things. So I just dealt with it. Now 4 months later that cheap glass they put on my phone is cracking at the corner and spiderwebing across my screen. Its costing me $100 to have it replaced. Steer clear of phone work with these guys, not worth the hassle. Take it some place where they actually know phones and thats basically all they do. What angers me is the deceit with this place, they would have never told me had I not realized it. Let alone they replaced it with a inferior and incorrect product. **UPDATE on 3/31** Nice canned response below about the store manager supposedly going to contact me. As of one month of posting this review NO MANAGER or ANYONE HAS CALLED ME from this establishment. You have proven my point further in my review.

Expertise, usually have just what I need!

Made an appointment for a charge port repair for an iPhone of a model notorious for that problem, but also for false positives when the port gets jammed with, for example, pocket lint. Was quickly approached by an employee who was aware of this, and offered to clean it out and test it for free while I waited, just in case that was the issue. Id cleaned it with compressed air myself the night before and couldnt make it work, but evidently not sufficiently, because he had it docking and charging in a couple minutes. I walked off with a functional phone and more money in my wallet than Id anticipated, so Im quite pleased. Next battery or repair I need, theyll have my business.

The customer service was excellent. They had many employees working with several customers. Each employee worked hard, and made sure they greeted me as soon as I arrived to let me know how long I would wait (which wasnt long). They worked very hard to program my car key, using several methods, and they were unsuccessful, so they gave me a full refund despite spending so much time on it. My Jeep battery installation was seamless, very quick, and an excellent price!

They had my car battery in stock and got it ready for pick up immediately. The price was more than fair and I even got a mail in rebate.

The customer service here is lacking. I came in today at about 3:15 p.m. there was a guy working on a repair and three customers in the lobby none of which he acknowledged. Another guy eventually emerged from the back took care of one customer the phone rang and he was on it for over 10 minutes while we stood there without acknowledgement from him. Before I got there I had plenty of time to get to work if Ive been helped in a timely manner. I eventually had to leave because if I didnt, Id be late for work. So it looks like Ill have to go back again tonight once Im off of work. Maybe well try a different Batteries Plus next time we shop but definitely not this one. Edit: Came back later and the guy who was there was much more helpful. Upped my stars from 1 to 3 just because of him. The day crew needs some personality training though.

My car was having intermittent starting issues. I thought it might be the battery so I ordered a new one from Batteries Plus.. When I arrived at the store they tested my battery saying it tested perfectly well, and refunded the charge back to my card. Last Sunday, I tried this place as a second place as the first place I chose was not open at 10 AM as advertised on their site. I was so glad that I walked into this place. My Pixel 2 XL had a piece of plastic left inside the USB C charger port probably left over from inside the USB C charger. I did not have a small enough tweezers to pull out the plastic piece so the plastic piece came out by pieces when I used a pliers to pull that piece out. Anyhow, I was prepared to pay if they could take care of it. The front desk person took a look, took it inside to talk to the tech and almost about a minute later he handed the phone back and the problem has already been taken care of. I even offered to pay whatever they want to charge. But they would not even charge me anything and did it for free. I was pleasantly surprised, to say the least. This place would be recommended without reservation and would be my go-to place future phone and tablet problems. I would try to pay their kindness forward. I sincerely hope they get more business from this post.

I walked into this store to purchase a bulb. When I arrived I was told that the bulb I needed was very specific and that I should bring one in so that I did not buy the wrong wattage and damage the fixture. Because it was pouring rain I told the sales person that I just wanted to buy one of each and when I got home I would install the correct bulb (after looking at the one that does not work) and return the others. He told me that because I did not know the wattage that he would not allow me to return any of the bulbs in the event that I used one and damaged it. I told him that I would only use the correct one after checking the the wattage on the bulb that burned out. He said he still was not able to return any of them because he could not trust that I would not damage them. Basically the guy was telling me that he could not trust me. Pretty horrible customer service. I would much rather buy online and wait a few days. Not to mention that the online price was $5.69 and the store price was $7.99. I will never shop here again. Very rude.
