Bad weather and a cold day, yes the wind was blowing and one of a wiper blades pulled a wizard of oz and flew away to parts unknown. We'll the windshield was taking a beating front the metal arm on glass, it was time to find a Auto parts place and yes the closest one was Auto Zone. We'll we arrived and my wife want in , moments later out she came with a counter guy, super helpful and directed my wife to pull in front of the store, still raining and still cold. Yes a few moments later the same man pop out and pop on the wiper blade. Super service and a big thank you to Auto Zone and you staff, a step above A + on service. Again Thank you to the man who came out, I was impressed.
Had to wait a long time at the parts desk. Once I got served, though, the lady was helpful.
I gave a one star is to the person who assisted me I believe his name was Vincent and older man. I went into autozone around 5:00 pm on Sunday the 17th for them to check if it was my battery about to die and if I needed a new battery so the man went and checked and said yes your battery is very weak about to die so we walk inside and he shows me the batteries and I pick one. Then I asked if it can be put in he says to me I don’t o ow if we can cause I have to remove the panel on my Lexus so I said I don’t want the battery to die on me and I get stranded he proceeds to say let me check with my manager after he was ringing me up and asked for phone number account and my husbands name came up he then says you can bring the old battery back and we will give you credit I said no I need it replaced and it does say if you buy the battery we can install it so he says to me have your husband do it I looked at him and started to say cancel my order I can go to another store and this nice lady walked in and said what the issue and she said let me put my stuff down and she said to the coworker what car so she went to take a look and Vincent was holding up the hood I didn’t get her name she told him you don’t have to remove the panel just this part. So this wonderful lady replaced my battery in no time and after she was done he made a comment that bothered me by him saying now you know how to replace the battery you can do it yourself . He should not be working there bad customer service but I give the gal who did the work of replacing my battery a 10 she was awesome.

Bree must have spent 30 minutes outside with me last week in the hot Sun trying to replace my battery. She went above and beyond, the battery was really corroded and wouldn’t come out. She even brought me out a water. She was awesome, got the battery replaced and tested and sent me on my way.
Bree helped me out with a battery issue tonight. There was ten people in line and she went above and beyond to help me out. Really hope a manager sees this and recognizes how hard she really works to help people in a desperate way here in Elk Grove. Will be coming back for excellent service.
This AutoZone Auto Parts in Elk Grove has most of the auto parts and car accessories in stock. The employees are knowledgeable and ready to help. The store layout is simple and easy to understand. A lot of parking spaces were available in the parking lot when I visited the store. The area looks very safe too.
If I could give a --500 star, I would! Today I had a terrible experience with an employee who identifies himself as the store manager, Tym who went out of his way to NOT Provide me with ANY SOLUTIONS to replace a $250 battery purchased less than a month ago, still under warranty. Lenny, who's shift ended assisted me with verifying the battery was replaceable. He confirmed my purchase by looking up my phone number and confirmed the battery was in stock. He then asked me "Will you need help installing the battery?" I said YES PLEASE! I previously explained to him my husband was a truck driver out of State which is why I was handling his replacement. Lenny advised me he would have Tym assist me and that WENT LEFT as soon as he walked out the door. After looking up the acct information Tym's exact words were " Is that a BMW? - you can imagine my concern with the car model right in front of his face on the computer screen! His next question was " Is that the one with the battery in the trunk under all of the stuff?" I looked at him wondering how he could be a store manager if he was not aware of such basic information, so I advised him Yes that the battery's are typically in the trunk, however not sure what he meant by "under all of the stuff?" He immediately advised me he CANNOT HELP ME because he was the only person in the store and could not leave it to install the battery. I asked him why not, as I was looking at an employee stand right next to him. He advised me one person in the store is a liability and he could not help me. I reminded him that the Lenny just advised me he would be able to assist me, now her cannot? Tym then said it will take too long that takes about 45 minutes to install to which I responded OK. I then advised Tym I did my homework before I visited the Auto Zone website and confirmed the two most important things to me 1. The 90 warranty on batteries. 2. Installation of the battery which reads they will install if you purchase with them. I explained this to Tym the store manager who insisted AutoZone is a DIY company. I ask how is that possible when Lenny just ask if I needed assistance installing the battery. I finally asked what he COULD DO to help me all I was getting is what he CANNOT DO. Finally, the employee who was present and assisting customer said to his MANAGER " Why don't you call (he said the store name or number) they may have the staff to help her!" I said now there you go, your employee is looking for solutions when all you want to do is not help because you are too busy trying to exert your power and allowing your EGO to lead you. He did not like that, he immediately told me HE WOULD NOT CALL the other STORE or find out if they had a battery. I asked him are you serious? I am a customer asking you as a store manager the representation of AUTO ZONE to help me and you are refusing to? He said YES! I said great I will include that in my letter to the organization you represent. I then asked for the store name and number he would not give it to me, just turned the computer screen in my direction. I called the store, who indeed had the battery and the staff to help. Guess what, they never mentioned the time to install as an issue nor staffing!! Now it gets better, someone at the other store location saw my name on the account or caller ID and said is that "Vickie Simon" my old manager- YEP I manage a call center of 54+ employees and would never handle a customer the way Tym handled me. I explained my experience aka NIGHTMARE with Tym to employee at the other store location. Let me be clear I am not playing victim at all, I am very direct and don't sugar much. Tym was so upset with my recap of MY EXPEREINCE with him, in the middle of helping a consumer her began to yell, YOU ARE NOT GONNA TALK ABOUT ME IN MY FACE! I reminded him this is my experience and I have freedom of speech so unless your are asking me to leave the premises, I will continue to discuss the experience with you! I have exceeded the character limits. I will be speaking to a DM or higher today!

On 7/20, 8:56pm when I need a light bulb urgently and arrived at the store, door is closed and the cashier just standing inside .I knotted but she pretended not seeing me .

Is it possible that I could do minus stars? This location has progressively gotten worse the last year. Seems like the priority is NOT the customer that walks in. I needed to ask for cashier s, counter help on several occasions. I m no longer going to the Elk Grove location. Don t waste your time here.

Ask for help to get breaks. Was told to stand at the counter. As i was ignored by 4 other people and even had one guy take a customer while waiting. After realizing I had been standing there a while the man who had told me to stand there then stood up and walked away from me. Not a very good experience and would not recommend this site.
I received excellent service from Alex. I needed help with installing my windshield wipes, and he came to help me even though it was raining outside. He was efficient and kind. I will certainly be returning to Auto Zone in the future.

Its a typical autozone. Workers are generally just cashiers and cant answer technical questions. They do have a scan tool you can use in their parking lot. I prefer the OReilly down the street for prices and advice.
This place is a joke. Ordered for pick up online day before and it said on website that its going to be ready for pick up the following day, waited for whole day never got the ready to pick up email . Finally decided to call and ask status on my order , picked up my call and put me on hold waited about 2 minutes the employee told me they have the part here. So they never bother to update the order that its ready for pick up. During the phone conversation i would heard loud laughter on the background. When i got to the place to pick up my part , all the employees was joking around and laughing . I dont know if this is even a legit business , seem like this place is run by bunch of kids. Dont get fooled by 4stars review those stars are from couple years ago when their customer service were good.

Well I ordered struts and tire pressure sensors on hold and sway bar link. They called me not knowing it was the store on Calvin and elk grove rd well I was at this store having the lady help me and she said it was there I said I ordered and autozone called me to pick up well she was frustrated and had an attitude pushing computer screens back and fourt I said I would like to talk with mgt didnt want to put up with her attitude so Brandon the store manager came out and we talk and then she tells from the back and said parts were at another location Calvin and elk grove florin, now why couldnt she said in the beginning let me check my other store no she chose to have a bad attitude with me all I was trying to get my parts I hope Brandon has a talk with her should not be treated this way she should have done her job to help me if not ask someone who could
I googled an issue I was experiencing with my A/C not blowing cold. Found out it most likely my problem be the cars A/C relay switch needed to be replaced. Went online at 2pm and my order was ready for curb side pick up 2 hrs last. Walked in, signed for it, and walked out with my part Doesnt get much easier then that!
I was helped by ERIC !! He is a excellent salesperson. He personally took a look at my car and told me what to do and what not to do. He saved me so much time and money. It seemed like other workers were just there to do a transaction and recommended me different product that I didnt even needed but Eric came along helped me.

I love this place because of the polite way I was treated when I came to return an item I purchased online. I ordered this part for my husbands car. Of course, I didnt get exactly the right one. Let that be a lesson that men order the parts Themselves, next time! Anyway, while cleaning the garage about 2 months later, I find this part, still unwrapped & not needed. When I went to return it, I was very pleased to be treated so politely. The usual time to return an item is 30 days, I think. This item was purchased well over 60 days ago. There were no questions or hesitations on this return, like there may have been at other part stores. Auto zone won my loyalty with their low prices on quality products, but especially for their respect & excellent customer service.

Im amazed by the service I got today. if it wasnt for AutoZone I would not be driving my vehicle at the moment. I got to use their diagnostic machine which they let me use for free and in 15 minutes I had my vehicle running and on the road and off to work. Oh and also I got 12$ credit towards my purchase Thank you.

I love AutoZone but was unhappy with the service I received yesterday. I entered the store and stood there for a good 5 minutes while the four employees behind the counter failed to acknowledge me and ask if there was anything they could help me with. While I was waiting for their assistance, the employees seemed to be more interested in their personal conversations then in helping me while they yelled jokes from across the room.

Went in store for 5/8 radiator heater hose The employee informed me they dont carry anything that large Upon asking again two other employees looked up and never corrected the first employee Also I have been waiting on a couple of radiator hoses I ordered day before yesterday Called today and no record of ordering could be found by the store, so they ordered them again and was imformed they would call me in the afternoon when they arrived Its 7pm as I write this and still no call

I have been going to this Auto Zone for years and am especially impressed with Missy as she has been wonderful to work with. I have had part issues in the past and never had any fuss from her, or anyone else, for that matter. I specifically go to this Auto Zone because the staff are super helpful and have a fair level of automotive knowlege. It is nice to see Missy has been working there for years as that gives me a little more confidence in Autozone as compared to other parts stores. A++++++

I have been going here for years and have actually worked at this store. Managers there are fairly well versed with mechanic work and diagnosing issues with cars. Always been a friendly place to buy parts from and ask questions

His name is Kyle, now I admittedly do not know that much about car but I do know figuring out what kind of oil and filter ur car takes is not a hard task. This man couldn t help me with finding out that information and also was very rude.

If you are in a crunch and trying to get a part last minute don t go to the one in Elk Grove. They say they close at 9 but 10 till 9 they lock their doors and nobody will come to the door. Repost you actual times you are open or fire the person for closing early. Either way there where 3 customers at your doors at 10 till 9. Check your cameras on June 30.

Auto Zone Laguna you need faster service for someone just in to get something simple off the shelf like gorilla tape or turtle wax. I waited in line for damn near 25 minutes with my wife in the car waiting too. Thoroughly disappointed in your evening service.
They checked my battery and charged it and I found out on January 10th 2018 that my gear shift cable broke at the end and I got it fixed on January 24th 2018 at Elk Grove Muffier and Transmission and to replace the gear shift cable with the backet cost the total of $ 355.79
Greeted upon entering, the store is always clean and well stocked. Misty is my favorite, too bad shes not here today. The check out girl missed it by a long shot. First an unwillingness to be courteous or helpful. After running my ATM card and it was complete she boldly stated take out your card. Okay, sure as you command. But why oh why didnt this go on my rewards? Oh because she didnt ask if I was on it nor given the option. That is a minimum requirement for the resister. So she kinda just cheated me or off some money and provided lackluster service.

My husband and i went to Autozone on Elk Grove florin. Twice they gave us the wrong parts. When we went the 2nd time to exchange the part, a female emplyee was extremely rude . She seemed very frustrated. She should find a job that makes her happy. Overall experience was bad. No knowledge of any parts and a very bad customer service.
