Official Vehicle Safety Systems and Official state brake and lamp station. We fix anything on four wheels.
Excellent mechanics, great troubleshooting and reasonable pricing. Really recommend this spot.
Don go to this place for any kind the job, they lie, and it's so expensive
not even bother to go ti this place belive me owner will work hard to make up problems in your car just to still thounsands of dolars from you I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE
They always do great work and help me with any concerns I have with my car. I trust them because my friend trusts them with their car woes too.
Was charged ~$500 for brake and light inspection, $250 for being told I needed what they told me was $1500 in repairs. Found the repairs for over 1/2 the price and went back to get my inspection again. Almost cost me more than my car.
So I was still hearing a scraping sound after just having a tire replaced. I took it into these guys (no appointment) around 3:45, and they called me a little while later to inform me that the brake system was bad: needed a flush, new pads, and new rotors. They were able to both get the parts and finish the repairs at 5 p.m., staying later to ensure the work was done that day, at the price quoted. I took it in a second time yesterday (July 9th), and Stanley and his crew got my brake lights changed out, changed my oil and fixed my flat tire promptly and professionally. Thank you, guys, for your prompt and effective work, cheers!
Great place! Was purchasing a used car online, and they were able to do an inspection for me and accepted zelle. They were thorough, sending be pictures and videos of what they noticed along with giving me a call with detail on everything. They were really friendly and amazing! Would recommend.
Unless you are Chinese they will double the price on you. Nitpick items they think you need because they think customers are stupid. This shop is not to help their customers it's to rip you off for every penny unless you are Chinese and only then you have a chance of being treated fairly.
1900 dollars for solving ABS issues, and the result was that the steering wheel keeps making continuous noise which previously it only occasionally had. And they said it had nothing to do with him. What should i do
For more than twenty years, theyre the only ones who have worked on my cars (all Mazda Miatas). The only ones.
Good, honest, quality work, Customer service a bit tarnished by seemingly residual grumpiness....but overall satisfactory. Pricing???
My husband has trusted him with his cars for 30 years
Great service. Mechanics communicate well and are very thorough
Great Service
I brought my car in and right away they started to take a professional look at it. We order the parts and immediately when the parts came in I had the car same day. The whole experience was super friendly and they where open to answer all my questions and teach me about my car.
The Chinese guys there charge way too expensive! Also I need to say they charge for parts they never replaced. No cool at all. I recommend go to another place
Front brake pads and rotors replaced. Was able to bring my own parts they just charged labor. Was in and out quick. Will come back and do business with these guys.
I always get top notch service. Andrew and the rest of the guys up there do a great job! Ive had terrible experiences with other car mechanic shops, so when I find a good place I stick with it. I would never take my car anywhere else. Five stars!!
Outstanding experience overall. I just had my brake job done and I think I found the place for my car s needs...keep it up gentlemen! Thanks for your professionalism! Positive
Very honest and reliable automotive repair shop I experienced! I have been a customer for more than 17 years.
Great
This place charge me a lot for a simple thing. He even charge me something that I didn t even need it. I would not recommend this to a friend.
They are BUSY! All the time but ok service, pop ins are not welcome.
Friendly, honest basically good people you can count on to work on your car. Thank you.
People are rude
A real good honest place to get your car taken care of
Awesome work
BEWARE!!! This is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PLACE to go for a SMOG check. This is yet another bad experience Ive had along with many others according to Yelp. Their customer service is horrible and they try to scam you and charge you for more services that you may not even need for your vehicle. PLEASE READ THEIR REPAIR ORDER CAREFULLY On their repair order they say in BOLD letters - ONE FREE OFFICIAL RETEST SMOG CHECK - and then in small print it says - with repairs done at our repair shop... This is my story: I have an older vehicle (1996) which I needed a SMOG check done. Right off the bet, Andrew Lee (their smog technician) started telling me that they dont do too many of older cars and chances of passing are slim. He ran the engine for literally 20 min as he was inspecting every single thing that he could find wrong with it. Then he took it into the shop for a speed test after which he told me that the vehicle failed due to the System Malfunction Light (there was no check engine light on). Then I asked him what was the problem and he told me it was due to OBD II incomplete test (which basically means that the computer is not ready for a test). He told me he would have to run an expensive diagnostic test ($190) to determine what the problem is and only then they would honor a one free retest. In the RECOMMENDATIONS AND TECHNICIANS NOTES Andrew Lee wrote: Fail OBD incomplete, recommend hookup to scanner and check/advise to customer. I was really confused to why I need to do this expensive diagnostic test since there was no issue with the car and no engine light was on. So I went to another, more reputable SMOG check place and the guy was nice enough to hook up the OBD II scanner to check it for me. I found out that my engine computer was reset during a radio installation a week prior and once the battery is disconnected the computer needs to be cycled through by simply driving the car for some time. This means that no repairs or expensive diagnostics need to be done. I went back to BRAKE PLUS SMOG CHECK and told them what happened. Of course with horrible customer service that they provide the guy told me in a rude tone of voice that he will not do any free retests and will not negotiate any other deal with me. I was trying to explain that they technically could have done the same as the other SMOG check place did and verified that the commuter is ready prior to the test (it takes literally 1 minute to do). Andrew Lee wanted to charge me $190 for running this diagnostic. All the other SMOG and repair stations do this free as a courtesy. You make the conclusion. FYI: I passed the SMOG with a more reputable place with flying colors just 393 miles later. Thank you for reading and I hope you never have to deal with a scam place like this.
Good quick service
Regarding Smog Checks, Stanley is very patient and quite good. I have a diesel truck that falls in the black hole area of emissions (smog never required, now they are) and it didnt quite test right. In the end, after Stanley tried to complete the test it was aborted and the report said I needed to go see a Smog Referee. (This was after Stanley restarted his smog equipment and performed a self diagnosis check) After Stanley explained what will happen next he charged me a very fair price (for the time he spent trying to complete the smog check) and said after the State Referee, come back and hell complete the smog. Thanks again for the help and the very fair pricing!
I recently went to Brake Plus for my smog check for my Toyota Prius. Since this is a clean air vehicle, I dont know why it cost +$20 more for testing for hybrid vehicles.
So helpful in many ways!
Very helpful. Best price after checking 4 shops.
