Goodyear Auto Service Centers are full-service tire and automotive repair stores wholly owned and operated by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
Would not recommend them at all. For a small flat tyre they said they will replace the whole tyre. the other shop Godniz tyre fixed it for $35 in 10 minutes. No unnecessary upsell
Placed an order for new tires which included $120 for installation, which explicitly states that TPMS is included per the order form. When I arrived, they quoted me an additional "$4-700" for TPMS (which is a ridiculous amount btw) & they wouldn't let me use the brand new Shrader TPMS sensors I brought in, saying "their programmer isn't compatible with them". After I pushed back (these things are industry standard, no way they can't program them), they said they wont do it because its a "liability". Next, I asked for what the cost for their TPMS sensors is, because they are already installing new tires so there is no additional labor required. They said there is "some labor overlap but not all of it is covered in the tire installation" so it was still $3-400 additional cost for TPMS, which is also BS - the only additional labor is programming the TPMS sensor to the car, which takes all of 2 minutes. The majority of the labor is in removing and remounting the tires. I called a nearby tire shop and they said they would install the sensors I had with no additional labor cost if I was already purchasing and installing new tires. Cancelled the order with this Goodyear and went there instead. TLDR - This shop will take advantage of people who don't know anything about cars and try to overcharge them.
When it comes to my car, i do not trust easily. I go to the dealership all the time for service before but since i needed new tires, i tried out this Good Year location. It was a very helpful advisor who always help me and she is very thorough and she really cares for her clients. I came in today for my regular service and she was the helpful agent who answered my questions. I am not sure why she is still an advisor where i can see she will be a great manager to your location. Its hard to find employees like that and when you have one someone like “Desiree”, your company will have returning clients like me. Thank you Ms.Desiree! Please keep up the excellent work ☺️
Go here at you own risk. My wife got a nail in her tire and I sent her here thinking they’d know what they were doing. They found the nail and plugged it for $35 which I thought was high but whatever. Next morning tire is low again so she goes back. Not only did they admit to making a mistake but said they couldn’t fix it and refused to refund her. Place like this thrives off people trusting the name Goodyear. You’re better off going somewhere else.
Called at the end of the day and the lady was exceptionally accommodating. And had a lot of useful information to share about the services available to me. The technician was also kind enough to take the tire off a second time just to show me what was going on with my tire. They ended up staying a little later just for me! Thank you so much!
i came here today to get new tires for my car first time i heard I can't sit in my car until the tire got changed even they're not doing anything with my car. It just parked and they kept my phone as a car key even I told her I'm not going anywhere I am sitting in my car, but she's said you can't sit in the car until it's done. It's so annoying. I don't know why they do that. Specially, they are really rude with Asians. there are two ladies and the both are really rude. she asked me question and I didn't understand what she said. I asked her again, but she didn't reply anything. so please teach them how to talk with a customer and why they need a phone even the customer is still in the building. If I'm going anywhere I totally understand they need a key, but if I am still here why they need my phone.and why i can't sit in my own car while waiting for my turn
Definitely come here to get new tires. The prices are all very transparent online and in store. They don’t upsell you anything. I scheduled an appointment online to get my new tires installed, but was told it would take 2hrs+ wait time. I couldn’t wait that long because of work. They were able to give me a courtesy ride back to work and back to the shop when the installation was done. The front desk staff and the person that gave me a ride were both very friendly. Highly recommend!
Having driven from far away it was time for an oil change. I stopped somewhere else but came here because they have Valvoline Full Synthetic High Mileage oil. I also requested a full Synthetic filter. I did not have too wait long for the service and all went well. My only concern was the suggestion to replace my serpentine belt. It was changed ten days prior before I left on my long drive. The facilities were neat, fairly clean and well kept. All employees from the counter to the car were very pleasant and nice. I would come back here if I were a local.
