AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care in Citrus Heights

True story. I had a check engine light come on that would not go away. I took the car to three different auto shops, including the manufacturer and they could not fix it. After 6 months and lots of money lost, I took it to Aamco on Auburn Blvd in Sac and they fixed it the next day. Great shop. Friendly, professional and highly skilled.

Told me engine has a contatrafic error and needed replacement totalling $10,000. I replaced waterpump and 2 pulleys. Noise was gone, truck runs great. (PROCEED WITH CAUTION!)

Clean shop and friendly staff. They were fast to diagnose my car and Tom communicated clearly with me on what was wrong with it. We had to wait to do the service needed due to the cost of the parts but he documented what was wrong so it’ll be easy when we go back for the repairs. No complaints!

I had a great experience at AAMCO I was serviced for a diagnostic on my Volkswagen Jetta 2006 within three hours Tom was very helpful with my service and it was quick and easy highly recommend this shop

Very professional and customer oriented shop! I brought my car in to get a diagnostic on my transmission , I was told that I needed a new one or a rebuilt one. I was sure that I had 3rd party vehicle warranty on my car come to find out it did not . Tony the owner not only did not charge me the $200 diagnostic that I was supposed to pay he also said that when I start searching for my new car to just bring it in to him before I purchase it! He was compassionate and honest and I would recommend anyone who is having transmission problems to bring your car to them . Thank you and in the future if I ever have any problems you will be getting my business.

My name is Tricia and I would like to share my experience at AAMCO. First I came in and explained how I put the wrong transmission fluid in my 2016 Nissan Rouge. They quickly calmed me down and let me know that they could fix the problem. They even made me feel less embarrassed by saying don't worry this type of things happens. They gave me a quote and I was ready to put it in the shop but my other half wanted to see if we could get it cheaper. I told Mike and he said no problem. He also offered to give us a ride home at no cost so we could leave the car with them to be fixed. We went to our mechanic to get another quote and he referred us to AAMCO. I laughed when I found out we had just left there. I quickly drove back and I see Mike the owner there greeting me with open arms and said of course we will help. I go into the office to get the paperwork done and Tom made it so easy and pleasant. He gave me the quote I told him I could only do the drain 2 times even though the recommendation is 3 to make sure the bad transmission fluid is out. He smiles and says " since you are a prior customer of ours we will do the third flush on us. That was a $275 gift. I have never been at a shop that was so kind ,so clean and so on point with their work. Mike , Tom..... Thank you for making a not so good day a whole lot better . You have a customer for life.
