Repair shops for any vehicle feel like pulling teeth but these guys are great. Tyler was transparent and great to work with. They took great care of getting our Lance Truck Camper back in fighting shape.

Full survice was not good, lost rear grill but they found it later. Forgot to connect air filter hose, that I connected later. Did not survice the diesel generator like I asked.

I have purchased parts here several times. Always courteous. Always professional. I have an old RV. They always find the right part for me!

Called at the very last minute and Tyler made it possible for us to bring our RV in for an oil change. We were especially pleased that after paying, Tyler realized wed been overcharged and quickly had the money refunded to us. Were in the Palm Springs area but if it ever became necessary wed go back to South Coast RV and would recommend them to all RV owners.

While vacationing, I called to find a replacement part for our weight distribution hitch. The staff was very helpful and even though I didnt get the needed part the experience was top notch and they even went out to the shop and looked through the mechanics boxes trying to find something that would fit. Super service.

I have been visiting this place for some time, it is where I buy everything I need for my motohome and when they dont have it the next day they have it for me.

This place really saved me. They aren t just a shop, they are people. Had I known how they were to deal with beforehand I would have booked at Southcoast first. I was booked elsewhere and the shop could not perform the work after all and I had to get it towed again. I won t describe the whole ordeal, but the bottom line is Tyler was gracious enough to fit me in on insanely short notice and I was happy to pay them. If I lived locally I wouldn t go anywhere else. I highly recommend them, there s a reason they are always busy.

While traveling I ran into a problem with my water heater. Adam in parts was extremely helpful and guided me through parts needed and offered to test my circuit board so I didnt buy unnecessary parts. Before going in I read some of the reviews and can say they are not over priced for any brick and mortar, you can always buy cheaper on line but there is nothing like personal service. Customer service and price where definitely 5 star

Even though the part couldnt get here till Monday and it wouldnt be soon enough they went over and beyond in Parts. Giving me part#, local competition I could call to see. Im not from local so I have no connections donw here. He offered me a few solutions as well. I couldnt just walk away without leaving a great review!

Had my rv repaired there. It is an older unit with many miles on it. Multiple problems including a problem with the frame I received great service from South Coast. Tyler kept us well informed with the progress on the repairs and the repairs were completed in a timely manner. Work done was excellent! The family run business has been around for awhile and they really know their stuff. I would highly recomment these guys. If your rv needs some work, check them out

Passing through and had an electrical issue. Called 2 mobile places and another dealer before talking to Cliff at South Coast. He said if we could get there within the hour, they could squeeze us in. They had us in and out in an hour and a half. Mark was a great technician who found the loose wire behind the breaker box and also replaced a leaking propane hose that was giving us trouble. Thanks so much for your help!!! They were pleasant and bent over backwards to get us in.

Went in to see about RV window on motorhome shattered by another motorhome while I was parked. They said they were booking out a month but gave me the name of a mobile glass guy who completed the work in a few days. They were unselfish, a rare attitude these days. I will take all my business there from now on

Anyone thinking of visiting this place MAKE SURE you get a quote before handing your keys over, I brought my RV in for them to look at my generator $140 to let us know what the problem was (with we already knew and told them), we left it there for not even an hour but was charged for the whole hour . The customer service inside was not very helpful and was offended we wanted to know why it was $140, the machanic was helpful in reiterating what we already knew the problem was(he wasnt told what we had informed them that the generator was getting to much gas) Lack of communication between front desk and Machanic .they also didnt have the replacement part on hand like they said they did. I would recommend staying and watching the process so you wont end up getting ripped off like we were.

Noticed what appeared to be water leak under engine water pump. Brought rv to South Coast to replace water pump. Technician checked it out and pressure tested system, checked radiator hoses and determined that I did not need a new water pump. I am feeling good about this experience and would recommend South Coast RV.

I have been going to South Coast RV for 15 years (or so). Mike has always been there to help with all my RVs needs !!! Great store and service ... So great that you need to plan your repairs because theyre back logged due to their huge demand ... I have recommended this shop to friends and family.

Lived in SD for a year and half and had regularly took my RV in for service. I now live in Los Angeles and took a chance and took my motorhome in to a local RV shop, big mistake. Now, I drive out to SD whenever I need my motorhome serviced. Tyler is always a pleasure to work with, his customer service skills are top notch. These guys really take good care of their customers! A++

This place is 100% high priced its too expensive and yet theyre the nicest bunch of folks theyll help you with any problem you have and theyre just trying to keep the doors open so I dont mind paying a little extra to get a little good service I highly recommend South coast RV I go there even if I know they dont have the part just so I can visit with theyll sell us if youre anywhere near South Bay go to this place you dont have to drive to El Cajon.

Recently South Coast RV replaced a window in my new trailer that was chipped when I received it from the dealer. The install they did for the replacement widow looked better than the original window. Unfortunately, the replacement window came without a bottom glide for the sliding portion. Without complaint Tyler and his tech, Mark, removed the glide from the original window and put it into the new window. This involved a great deal more work but they went above and beyond to make things right. I am extremely satisfied with their service!

Not impressed with service. They left a new oil filter and water separator in my coach. Did they really change the oil? New water pump stopped working within a month. Let my batteries run down so I had to buy new ones. Rig was in for some coach electrical after 9 months the said work was done and electrical would work and it didnt. While my rig was in for service I had to go in and check on it numerous times. Was told that they would have someone call me and they never did. A friend of mine had their rig in for work and they warned me. Now I know why. They told me that my 30 amp adapter was reason my electric wouldnt work. No they let batteries go uncharged for 9 months thats why electrical didnt work. Had to bring back after one day only to have to pay a bunch more money to replace batteries so electrical would work. They did ok on puttting in a new AC unit. Really not impressed definitely looking for some where else to take my rig for service.

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience here. The minute I walked in and looked around I asked a simple question to the lady at the desk, she replied with a very rude attitude, I let it go and asked a second question she replied by saying she did not need to answer questions that she did not want to, ( it literally looked as if she hated her job) I mentioned to another gentleman at the desk they need to work on there customer service he replied by telling me to relax, the original woman behind the desk then replied she doesn t have to answer stupid questions. I feel they need to understand what good customer service means. I m sorry but I will not return to this location.

Staff is always friendly. I had a solar system installed on a new rv that took a lot longer than it should have but am pleased with the work.

Its okay because they have what you need. A quick search on amazon and I overpaid about 70 dollars for an electric brake controller. Thats quite an up charge...

Its been my RV shop of choice for years. A bit more per hour, on the labor, but have never had a problem with their work.

They have a little bit of everything...very customer conscious!

Great place to find items for your motorhome

I had a city bus take out my drivers mirror on my motor home. Unwilling to drive a 34 ft motorhome blindsided on the driver s side I parked it and called South Coast RV Service. The people on the phone were very helpful along with the service people. An appointment was set and on the appointment date the service man showed up on time he was very friendly, neat and professional, What I thought should have been a simple process to replace the mirror became a major project. Without hesitation he completed the job and I was on my way. I would recommend South Coast RV Service to everyone. Being a widow and driving a loan it is a pleasure to find an operation so accommodating and professional.

Terrible service department. I called to have my chasis AC serviced and they gave me an appointment for a week later. I explained That I was living in the coach and could not leave it for days in the shop, no problem they said, a couple of hours of work. I show up on my appointment and after taking my information, the informe it will be a couple of days! Their tech did not show up for work. Now I have to go cross country with the AC marginally working, definetly do not recommend this shop to anyone

Adam just sold us a hot water heater gas valve. It worked great but we didnt realize the nozzle on the gas feed needed to be installed off the old one. Called Adam after not being able to fix it and he walked me through what to do. Hot water heater works great. Would absolutely reccomend these guys.

I was told right off the back that I couldnt return something but I also bought an item that was 15% off because it was previously returned. I also notice that there was a huge lack of cultural diversity employed there (100% white). I know that last statement really wont effect potential customers because 100% of people shopping there were white. I am also very aware that they will know who I am fore I dont think they get to many colored folks such as myself.

Man most of these items are WAY over priced. Selling $5 silicone for $13 bucks an more.

Quick friendly service.

I would give it one star, but some of the staff at this location did attempt to be helpful. I have been here three times now. Each time, a person helps me for the part I am looking for and then send me to the cashier to make a payment. The first two times, the cashier never appeared and the guy that helped me processed my payment after he noticed I spent an unreasonable amount of time waiting for the cashier that never appeared. My third visit was enough for me. Same thing happened, no cashier and the guy that helped me refused to process my payment so I just left the parts on the counter and walked out. I only visited this place because it was so close to my home. I will no longer be a customer here. Their system of customer service is a failure and it doest look like they want to change their ineptitude.

They worked with us to get our malfunctioning door lock replaced. I was concerned about getting the upgraded replacement part and Adam checked with the manufacturer, Trimark, and copied me on the email with pictures of the part the day before our appointment. to ease our minds.

Helpful staff, I broke my shower faucet while camping at the KOA and they helped me find a replacement of better quality.

Thorough, personable, reasonable prices, huge selection of parts and kept us informed thru the whole process.

My husband and I are doing some extensive traveling in our RV and needed some repairs before leaving California. We are so glad we found South Coast RV. They went out of their way to get parts in that night so they could have us on our way the next day. They made us feel very welcome while we waited for the repairs to be completed. The estimate was exactly what we ended up paying and the repairs were perfect. We highly recommend this family-owned and operated business. They are very trustworthy, friendly and do awesome repair work in a timely manner.

Dont walk but RUN AWAY for these guys. Horrible service and they tried to rip me off!!! I would rate them lower if Google would allow it. They tried to charge me for work I did not authorize and they the owners wife and the parts guys called me a liar. I asked them to review the service contract and it was clear they were wrong. Brutal! Do yourself a favor and find another shop
