True professionals and very friendly. 2018 Chevy Malibu had a P1101 code even after I changed my filters, new MAF Sensor, and cleaned the throttle body. Noah did a thorough check and diagnosed my vehicle with a faulty turbocharger. For all genuine GM parts, transmission service, and labor, around $2,200. Hurt my pocket for sure but it is an investment at the end of the day! Dave and Noah very genuine people and will make sure your car is running nice and smooth again, like mine. Noah kept me updated quite frequently.

My first time at Brangham Auto and it was a wonderful.ecperience and my vehicle thought so also.

Had a great experience with this business. The technicians explain everything perfectly on what happened and what needed to be replaced. They fixed problems on my 06 Mustang that most automotive technicians would have no idea on how to fix themselves or would charge a overinflated price for a simple fix.

I love going there. Everyone is so friendly and they take such good care of my car. They are honest and only recommend what Really needs to be done to your car and their prices are very fair.

This shop is the best. They replaced the radiator fans in my old Lexus just last week. I have taken every vehicle I ve owned here. I wouldn t go anywhere else, ever. I ve recommended this shop to my friends for years and they have all had a great experience. Dave is a good honest man that is hard to find in the car repair business. Bang up job!!! Brought a Beemer in that lost a main belt on the 3rd of July. Luckily I knew in advance what the problem was because I had put a stethoscope on the pulley that was making noise. Bought the right parts at the ORiellys just down the street. They worked me in and got it done despite a couple of complications or I would have been stuck through the weekend. I cant be grateful enough! Thanks!!!

Extremely satisfied! I made an appt last week and patiently waited to come here. My air was out in my car. When I originally called I spoke with Dave who was knowledgeable and informative. My appt was at 8 this morning, I was in my car on the way home at 9:45. The issue had been repaired and in a timely manner AND I was not price gouged. Affordable and fast!!

Fast, fair pricing, professional, quality customer service and trust worthy auto repair shop in Cathedral City. I brought a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis in for an A/C service the day before I was to pick up an elderly lady from Burbank airport. Turns out the A/C system had a leak. A hose needed replaced along with the A/C relay fuse. They had the car back to me by end of day in time for my passengers to have a comfortable ride. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. David Elm was great to work with. He was straight forward, kept me updated, had excellent follow up and follow through, was happy to answer my questions and made the experience easy. I also noticed that the shop lobby and work bays were clean, neat, and orderly. Ill definitely be back. THANK YOU JIM BRANGHAM AUTO REPAIR!

Very friendly and informative. Couldnt complete entire job due to availability of parts for older car. But I will use them again. And be patient, its a busy place and will take a few days up to a week for them to see your car.

Honesty, professionalism, knowledge, and extraordinary customer service is how I can best describe Dave and his team. Their prices are also very reasonable. After having had my car serviced at the dealership a couple of months ago for a leak, the car started making some other extra loud bangs and noises while decelarating. The dealership told me that there was nothing they could do about it other than replacing the entire exhaust system which would have cost me thousands of dollars. A good friend recomended Dave to me and I immediately called him. Dave asked me to bring my car in the next morning. He drove the car around with me and immediately recognized where the noises and vibrations were coming from. After diagnosing the issues, he informed me of what needed to be done and how long it would take. I mentioned that I would need the car by 2pm and he finished the job with his team before that time even though he was clearly very busy at his shop. Dave pinpointed the actual issues with the vehicle that were more urgent and the cause of the vibrations and loud bangs, and it was not the exhaust system as indicated by the dealer. While the exhaust system needs work, its not affecting the performance of the car at all and its not really noisy either. The problem was with the axle shaft that needed to be replaced and worn out front break pads and rotators which the delearship failed to warn me about regardless of the fact that I have been taking this vehicle to them 2 times a year for the past several years. Anyway, Daves knowledge and honesty saved me a couple thousand dollars and I am ever greateful to him and his team. My car is driving much better, much more silently, and sturdily. I feel safe driving it again. I will definetly refer Dave to all my friends and clients and will never go back to the dealership again unless its something Dave absolutely cannot do. Thank you, Dave!

I called in to get a quote for installing an ac compressor. After he questioned me about how I knew the compressor was bad and after he found out that I had purchased the part myself, he said he would not install. My guess for the reason he said he would not put it on is so he couldn t screw me by upcharging the part through the roof. If I m wrong, then they can tell me through here and I ll remove my review

My wife arranged the appointment to see what was wrong with the air in our 2007 honda. Dave said the estimate would be free. When it was determined it was the condenser and it would cost over $1000 to fix (more than the cars worth) I told Dave I couldnt spend that kind of money on such an old car. He said he understood, and thered be a $45 charge for the time spent. At the time the car was not put back together so I felt I had to pay for thefree estimate. If you deal with this company, get everything in writing. And keep your hand over your wallet at all times. I wouldnt trust this company to give you a solid deal. Go elsewhere!

I have consistently been delighted with Jim Brangham Auto Repairs work on my 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan wheelchair van. They have often been creative in saving me money-- a perfect example being last year when the air conditioning started coming out of the heating vents at floor level. David advised me that to fully repair the problem would require an expensive part and a huge amount of labor in taking the dashboard apart and reassembling it. However, they were able to repair the problem at minimal cost by locking the air ducts and moving doors in place so that air always came out of the a/c vents, which works just fine in the Coachella Valleys climate. Also, I have never felt overcharged or that unnecessary work was done.

This has been my go to mechanic for more than 10 years. From the simple smog check to the more complicated rebuild, they are knowledgeable, friendly, and stand behind their work. I looked for more than 2 years to find a mechanic that would listen and work with me to problem solve issues.

I own a bmw and had a broken bolt in my ac. After being turned down by my local mechanic I took it into Jim Bringham Automotive and David helped me out. They got the bolts out and they were able to fix my car in a timely matter. Every experienced and honest mechanics that know what they re doing!

David is a great guy, he squeezed my car in, between his many customers, as my AC has stopped working in 122° heat. Of course I had a long wait but I went there with that mind set that I was going to have to wait. After putting in 3/4 of a lb of freon, he informed me that it was cooling but not as it should. He referred me to a specialist in VWs, saying it may bee something with other AC system components. He was so gracious to not charge me.

Honest

I have been bringing my car to have oil changes over the past two years. On a regular inspection of my motor mounts I was told that all need replaced engine transmission and something else they told me that they were going to give me a special price of $600 . I took my car into Los Angeles to have my mechanic look at the situation and was told there was nothing wrong with my motor mounts . I would not recommend the shop to anyone theyre going to have it in for you for unnecessary repairs done to your car. I decided to report them to the State Bureau of California for auto repair and the Better Business Bureau.
