My ac stopped working on the way to visit Carmel. This shop took me last minute and tried everything to troubleshoot the issue. Because it was working again when they checked it, They could not figure it out, but I believe they did their best. He only charged me a nominal fee for his time. And they were friendly and updated me a few times while they had my car. I would recommend this group for your auto needs.

These guys were incredible. I have a rental vehicle and accidentally went over a curb, and then started hearing a weird noise under the car. I stopped by this place... dreading the thought of having to waste hours waiting, scheduling, coming back, leaving it for days, and paying and arm & a leg. Jesus saw me immediately, we went for a drive around the block, we came back. I waited maybe 10 minutes and then they lifted the car up, and his 3 guys and him looked around underneath, found out what was causing the noise (a bent "heat guard"?), and bent it back into it's appropriate place. I asked them to wipe the underside of the car down a bit since it was already up, and they did so. They took it down, and me and Jesus went for a drive again... problem fixed! And he charged me what I think was a very fair and reasonable price. Now THIS is excellent work and service. In a time when many (most?) people are lazy in society, Javier's Auto Services, Jesus and his guys -- these guys represent what America is all about... hard work, dedication, speed, customer service. They blew my mind. Keep up the good work guys! Thanks Jesus!

Javier’s was not open when we called on a Friday evening while traveling in the area. We expected to have to wait until Monday, but I got a call back first thing Saturday morning. Car was diagnosed and repaired within hours. Excellent service!

I had some car trouble while passing through Carmel on my way to Big Sur. It really could've been a huge problem, derailing weeks of planned travel, but Javier Auto Service got me in even though they were slammed, and went out of the way to fix the problem. Really nice guys who seem to care about their customers, and excellent mechanics from what I can tell (Jose diagnosed the issue within about ten minutes!)

I can’t recommend this place enough. I had a water pump go out on my truck while I was up here on a camping trip. I called them and they got me in immediately. They even stayed past closing so I would be able to get back on the road In the morning. Very fair priced. Super friendly. These guys are the best. Wouldn’t bother going anywhere else.

I was recommended to Javier and his team by my friend Frank Garbie. I called them a week before I was due to return from my Christmas vacation. I had originally called to have my car‘s oil change. Amazingly, they were even able to catch a couple of minute details that I didn’t know about. They were able to re-stock my coolant, re-inflated and checked my tire pressure, and they even topped off my wiper fluid! I will definitely be coming back to these guys!

Javier and his team were wonderful. I had gotten a flat tire and they soaped and checked the whole thing for free. Only when we discovered that it was a valve stem issue did I then pay only for the new part. He went above and beyond to call tire places to check who had my tire size in stock without me requesting it, and he recommended Castroville Tire which got me a new tire quickly and for a good price.

Our car battery died and after getting a jump, we drove to Javier Auto Services to have the battery checked and replaced as needed. Jose told us our battery was fine and didn’t need replacing. He even said no charge for checking. We tipped him and highly recommend coming here for auto repair and maintenance. It’s so refreshing to see a shop with honest, helpful people who won’t try to sell you on services you don’t need! Thanks again, Jose!
